1 night stay included dinner and breakfast. Upgraded to suite in the main hotel building - simply awesome. very well maintained facilities, room is clean, tidy and in keeping with the charactor of the main building. Spa and Gym facilities are good, staff welcoming. Dining in the main restaurant was very nice, professional service, attentive staff. One of the nicest stays i have experienced for a long time! Would highly recommend for anyone couple / family wanting a pampering weekend!

I like this hotel a lot but over the years service has been pretty poor and below what you would expect of a good hotel - food menus, including restaurant are limited. Being refused restaurant menu in the bar is so out of date!!!

The hotel has a nice feel to it and the staff are very friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated and beds good. Food was nice, though not spectacular. The spa area, however, was like being outside. Single glazing meant that the whole area was cold and the pool not heated enough to compensate. The kids didn’t mind, but the best place to be was the hot tub which, at least, was hot!

First time at Albrighton Manor, it was a treat for my daughters birthday. Staff very friendly and attentive, the room was lovely. We had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and the staff made a real fuss of my daughter, they decorated the table and brought her a special desert which was really nice of them. The hotel is set in lovely grounds. We also had a treatment at the spa which was very good and very relaxing. This is a fabulous place and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

« All together a lovely hotel, superior room upgrade excellent as was the food and service »

Had booked an afternoon tea (as a result of a gift) decided to book a nights stay prior to that. Booked a Superior room upgrade which was very good. All staff were very friendly and efficient. The evening meal was of very good quality with excellent service. Breakfast was good (like self service aspect as you can decide what you want more easily. Explored area nearby and returned for an excellent afternoon tea in very pleasant drawing room.

This Hotel is sold as a spa and health centre so we were looking forward to using the facility (there were 6 of us in the group).Even when we booked directly with the hotel we were not informed that on New Years day it would only be opened from 8am till noon,obviously after a late New Years eve an early rise was not on any of our agendas.I understand this decision was not taken until the 23d December????

The Hotel and New Years Eve activities were excellent. Room very comfortable, but possibly a table or shelf to put suitcase on when unpacking, also stool required in bathroom. What did let the hotel down and was very disappointing to us was the wait for breakfast, 25 minutes to get a table. Also we were expecting a full menu and service to our table, not a buffet style, had to ask for tea to be brought and was never given an offer of a refill. Poor quality fruit on offer as was the thin sliced bread. Not what we expected from a 4 star hotel. Perhaps you might consider a later slot for breakfast to ease the wait time. When checking out, we asked if there was always a problem with waiting for a table, a member of staff said the wait for breakfast was due to guests all arriving down at the same time!! which made us feel as though the guests were at fault.

Stayed in the hotel for a couple of days over New Year. Beautiful setting and a wonderful old building. Lots of atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Only drawback was the bathroom in the room was very tatty and needed renovations. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for New year's eve gala which was excellent. My only complaint was that we stayed in The School Masters House so had to walk across to the main building, we we're very lucky that the weather was dry & calm, had it not been I would have been very upset, as you can imagine.

We loved this hotel and cant wait to return. Clean spacious family rooms. Great reception staff. Quick and easy check in. Only downside (why i rated 8/10) was the Spa/pool was FREEZING. Really uncomfortable temperature in and out of the pool. Showers were near on useless in the ladies and again luke warm water. Leisure staff said it was a known problem they were waiting to be fixed. Plus at breakfast lack of pastries - once theyre gone thats it. But despite these things (which are easily fixable) I would recommend this hotel.

Always enjoy staying at this hotel and decided to celebrate New year here. Room was lovely as they always are and spacious. and clean. Greeting at reception was a little frosty as receptionist launched straight into payment for the stay, however as far as I was concerned I had phoned already paid for it. A little hard faced we felt. The actual event was ok however a couple of pointers. We arrived at 7.10pm, 10 minutes after start of reception to find all Canapes were gone and only one warm glass fizzy wine between us left! Not a good start. Table decorations were fantastic and loved to balloons etc. The band were very good but am not old but there were from the off full volume. a few people left the room never to come back in. Also there was no one directing the midnight countdown which was disappointing. Otherwise as ever will be back to enjoy another stay at some point as always a nice place to be....

A little disappointing. Refurbished Privlege room not thought through, lots of space but only one chair,awkward plug sockets, heavy curtains which do not close. Worst of all long wait for hot water on each occasion. I am sure there used to be a better breakfast choice, not bad, but same buffet as every mid range hotel chain

Wonderful room stayed in the Romeo and Juliet Suite Bed Bathroom and Facilities all excellent only I thing missing a safe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good on our first morning not so on our second put this down to hotel being very busy cooked food very dry even the eggs ..seems to have been under the heat lights quite awhile

A 2 night stay in 2 different rooms due to availability. First night in a privilege room. Lovely comfortable room, but very cold. Portable radiators warmed the bedroom but bathroom was uncomfortably cold. Second night superior room in school masters house was much more cosy. Spa facilities are a favourite of ours. It was unfortunate the pool was very cold - a member told me the boiler was not working? Would have been nice to be informed. Too cold to comfortably spend time in. However the jacuzzi and thermae suite were good. Also one of our treatments was below expectation. The spa have dealt with this but due to staff shortage were unable to honour a replacement treatment on this visit. Overall our stay was very pleasant and we will make a return visit.
