I stay with yourselves for the 2nd time and had a great view from the window. We were upgraded for some reason, and I paid £45 for dressing gowns and slipper, the dressing gowns were horrid, they were too small, I am average build and they did not fit! To be charged £45 was disappointing, and the air con did not work very well and there was a horrid stain on the carpet by the bathroom. I was in room 407. It was expensive for what we received. My number is 07… if you would like to discuss further

My room was not clean and I had to change rooms on arrival. One of the lifts was not working. The valet parking service was not operational and I had anticipated using this when making my reservation.

The staff were very professional but also very friendly. This applies to both reception and restaurant staff. In particular, both the young lady and gentleman on reception who booked my husband and I in on Thursday night after a very traumatic journey due to the flooding were really kind and helpful.

Was a lovely stay. The room was amazing one of the best accessable rooms I've stayed in. The spa was amazing Marco gave me an amazing deep tissue massage. I wish it lasted longer. Only 8 star because the food in the restaurant wasn't very good.

Fabulous apart from moving rooms ie 317 I had trouble with the bath tap cause it had ceased plus it was cold and the fan in the bathroom didn’t turn off so was noisy all night. First nights stay definitely 10/10 I’ll certainly be coming back

I didn't have time to use any of your facilities, just breakfast. I was disappointed there was no menu on my table explaining specials available from the chef.

Please refer to review on trip advisor. Our check in was difficult because the staff member spoke at a whisper. The room was cold and heating not working a tiny heater provided not adequate. Stained net curtains and wall from leak. Cracked and crumbling coving. Broken tv, wardrobe doors wouldn’t shut. The service in the bar lacking and extremely cold. Felt so uncomfortable we made our excuses and checked out went home. Not even staying or having breakfast. We are seasoned travelers and we’ve never experienced this lack of service and care in any 4-5 star establishment before. Also ordered a bottle of champagne to be in the room as a surprise for my husband as it was his birthday it wasn’t there and had to ask for it so not the surprise I wanted.

My partner and I really love staying here, location is great, facilities are fantastic, staff are attentive and professional, love the views of the peace garden and town hall...... Couple of frustrations this time with a lift out and the other behaving a little strange and some of the leisure facilities - shower, changing rooms looking a little tired and dirty.... Still we can't wait to come back!
