« Bletchley Park visit »

Very nice rooms, clean and freshly decorated. Front desk staff ok except the South African girl who was marvellous, friendly, efficient and helpful. Restaurant food very good, but our last morning the staff were too busy chatting and gossiping not there to help at all and we had to walk through them to get to the buffet tables, it was quite embarrassing.

« Great breakfast and dinner in a lovely hotel »

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Great quality food. Comfortable, spacious bedroom with all the facilities which you expect and more (iron/ironing board, safe in the room).

« Great base to visit Bletchley Park »

We stayed at Woughton House for 2 nights (fri and sat) arriving about 8pm, checked in no problem and were offered a hand with our bags, which we didn't need. Our room was lovely and spacious and everything we could want - tea/coffee, toiletries, hairdryer, iron, safe, mini bar. Room was very clean, quiet and enough light for our needs - I've seen other comments about noise and dark decor.Breakfast is buffet style - but good quality, replenished frequently, hot and loads of choice. We ate in the hotel one night - and had a really delicious meal. Chocolate tart with orange sorbet was excellent. We were told the food is made at the hotel - including the bread and ice cream. So it is more expensive than a pub but this is restaurant food not pub food. The hotel was full - a large party/event taking place so some things were a bit slow or perhaps didn't run as smoothly as you might expect, but nothing to complain about. We found it a friendly hotel, very stylish but comfortable, although some of the seating in the bar area is a bit low !It is a great base to visit Bletchley Park, and as our tickets are valid for a year I'm sure we'll be revisiting and staying at Woughton House.

« Great hospitality »

We were warmly greeted when we arrived rather late and our room was lovely. A lovely welcome again at breakfast which was delicious. Hope to stay longer next time.

« Comfortable stay in excellent hotel »

We were very pleased with the accommodation and the food. We had an evening meal of bar food and breakfast in the dining room. The room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful. There was ample onsite parking. We chose it as it was close to Bletchley Park which we visited the next day and the hotel was in a quiet area, rather than in Milton Keynes itself.

« Disappointing »

Booked a Gourmet experience in a Privilege room on 29th September as a nice end to a Bletchley Park visit. Hotel building is elegant in beautiful surroundings. Staff were excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. However, there were apparent problems in the kitchen resulting in a very limited menu being offered. This was not conveyed to reception staff. The choices offered (3) did not appeal to us and we ended up having a meal in the nearby pub ( which was excellent, by the way). There was a function taking place at the hotel. Unfortunately our room was above the lounge area and there were some inconsiderate guests who were playing their own music, singing and making a lot of noise until my husband got up at 3.40 am to ask them to pipe down. I had no sleep until after 6.00 am as the person in the next room decided to have a shower at 5.30. Extractor fans and pumps are very noisy. Details of our complaint were taken but we have not heard anything from the Manager, despite an e mail. Issues are with communication between kitchen and management, and a need for sound proofing. Sadly, a disappointing visit.

Best bed I’ve ever slept in. Lovely to have cows grazing outside my window. Delicious breakfast and very helpful staff.

« Even better than usual »

Always my hotel of choice when visiting OU at Milton Keynes. Typically an overnight stay, as was on this occassion. Reason I have given very high grade is becauseI felt the food was exceptional on this occasion, and also I noted that the room I occupied, which have stayed in before has been refurbished, and was excellently appointed.

« very good in parts, errors in other area »

my wife booked two rooms 23/09/18 for my 65 th birthday,my daughter and a friend had the other room.We booked in on line and had to book in at reception again, which was strange,it seems to be a new system and everybody seems a little unsure what was happening.Room was nice but 40 inch tv had shrunk to 27 inch, not that we used it.Bed was comfy but was a double made up of two singles with a dip.On leaving it mentioned a departure gift but we never had anything, more confusion at desk. meal was lovely but again seemed confused when ordering, but was a good experience.

« Mixed bag. »

The property is situated in a delightful area convenient to Milton Keynes. Breakfast and bar meals were good, and the staff were accommodating and efficient, but our room, which was in the gallery, was very small and cramped and had virtually no sound insulation. The rooms in the main building might be OK but based on my experience I could not recommend the place, nor would I stay there (or at any other MGallery property) again.

« Pleasant and comfortable stay in beautiful setting »

Two night stay in a privilege room. Very comfortable with good facilities. Only downside was the noise from the bathroom fan in the room next to us. Breakfast was very good on both mornings but slightly busier on the second morning which resulted in service not running as smoothly ie plates not cleared and having to ask for order for hot food to be taken. Otherwise great stay.

« Peaceful and gentile, the elegant Woughton House »

Fabulous hotel. The building is gorgeous and the staff helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious enough and very comfortable, especially the bed. It's a peaceful place. The gardens and surrounds are lovely. Great pub across the road. We would be delighted to have a return visit.

back to fabulous. we stayed in a 1st floor room overlooking the field which we actually preferred to our fave downstairs. Last couple of visits were a bit disappointing . We spoke to Matthew who sorted everything when we visited last time. We were very pleased with the room and some special treats and touches made us feel very special again . We had a fabulous time Thankyou
