We’ve stayed there for one night, on our 10th anniversary and it was absolutely amazing. We booked massages and the ladies were really good, then took advantage of the pool and saunas, which were really nice as well. And they have made our room extra special for us, the minute we entered the room, we had rose petals on the bed and 2 swans and also macaroons and strawberries, all very romantic. We really had an amazing time and we will definitely go back. Thank you!!!!

I had called up before for the spa treatment as we were all on our anniversary and wanted a place that had entertainment and spa but th lady who I spoke with gave me slots I called back and she wasn’t there and through lack of communication we didn’t get our booking but had already paid for the murder mystery so couldn’t change our hotel

bed was very uncomfortable, order chips and bottle of wine took over 30 minutes then when it arrived the food was stone cold, rooms needed a lot of tlc paint chipping, tiles cheaped , stains on carpets and tub chairs, had meal in your restuarant sitting for 9pm 23 poeple were in there but we didnt recieve our starter which was soup till 9-55 thats only cause we asked.

« I enjoy staying here but not sure that the food (other than dinner in the restaurant) fits with the 4 star rating. »

I have had badly cooked food in the bar and also the whole breakfast situation has been “dumbed down” to such an extend that I can only get the service, that I believe fits a 4* hotel, and the food requirements that I have by having room service.

Excellent service, quality and food. Staff were friendly and attentive. Booking was quick and easy and having a 12 o'clock check out time allowed us to relax for a while after a beautiful full breakfast.

Lovely food and restaurant service was great. The room was nice and spacious. There were about 8 flies by the window when we first went in our room, apart from this there were no issues and the room was clean. Also there are not enough beds around the pool area, we booked a spa break and couldn't get a bed.

I wasn't happy at all to find dogs were allowed in the premises and to even stay in the rooms!! The corridor smelt like wet dog.. disgusting! Which made me feel sick on the way down to breakfast! Dogs were barking whilst I was trying to unwind and relax (as it's a spahotel) in the bar and being woken up quite early to dogs barking outside my window and the owners shouting them! If I'd of known all this about dogs allowed inside and in rooms I would never of booked to stay, I wouldn't reccomend or would I return to stay.

We had a pleasant stay staff were very helpful and always willing to help. We had a lovely room with a comfy bed. Loved the use of the spa. Didn't like the menu need a better selection for everyday eating. Also why so many supplements on dishes.

Check in helpful ladies but computer/s developed glitches and it took over 25mins. Similarly slow check out though not as bad. Carpets in corridor tatty and room a very long way away.
