Whilst staff where friendly and pleasant to deal with. There was nothing made it bad, just a lot of small things that meant it wasn't good.

I've been straying at the Mercure Farnham for a few months on a weekly basis. I've always been in one of the renovated rooms which are nice. As an Accor Le Club Platinum member I've strayed in a lot of Accor hotels and there are some areas in which the Bush Hotel does not perform as well as others: - After a few weeks staff now remember to include a free drinks voucher as a Le Club member. As a Platinum member, there is usually nothing beyond that to make you feel special. Most Accor hotels give room upgrades etc. - Breakfast - breakfast is mixed. A lot is done well for the price of breakfast. However it's not unusual that food runs out in the buffet and staff can be slow to react to this. In addition the has browns are often terrible and soggy. I think the hot buffet plate they're kept in with a lid on makes them go soggy rather than stay crisp like they should be.

The mecure Bush hotel used to be my favorite crew hotel due to it's location. We require a paper copy of the invoice when checking out from all of our hotels for our employer’s accountants. The bush now has a paperless policy which makes this unduly onerous. Please remember who is the customer and print an invoice for us crew. Thank you.

After check in found insufficient coat hangers,after numerous attempts to contact reception I had to walk to reception to collect the hangers. No information in room relating to restaurant and bar times or at check in. Bar closed at 11pm on Saturday night. Shower floor extremely slippy when wet to the point of being dangerous no mat provided.Reception was so often not staffed and trying to check out I had to get restaurant staff to find receptionist for me. On arriving home that evening I find an e-mail and an invoice telling me I hadn't paid and had to phone the hotel to get it sorted. I have stayed at the hotel quite a few times and never experienced such poor service.

The hotel was very pleasent and the staff very polite and helpful but the room whilst being very good wasn't as good as expected. The room was described as to having bath robes and slippers - it didn't (these were provided once mentioned). When entering the room from the courtyard there were no mats on the floor to wipe your feet meaning that over time the carpet had become stained. The room was described as to having a walk in shower, it didn't - it was the usual shower in a bath which I would describe more as a drizzle than a shower. The coffee machine came with 1 pod, which is poor especially as the room was booked for 2 people. Everything else about the room was as expected and the stay was very enjoyable.

Staff kindly gave me a quiet room away from noise and then helped turn off the air conditioning which was also noisy. I then had to turn off the fridge. The room was very comfortable. There was no hairdryer and I didn’t have time to ring reception to ask for one. Coffee in the morning was weak and flavourless but room service was good.

Welcome smile at reception and requested quiet room provided. Large newly refurbished room with very tasteful furnishings in muted colours. King size, very comfortable bed. Excellent shower room with novel light at floor level which automatically comes on at night when you step into the shower room - very neat and useful. The hotel is in central Farnham but is quiet and has many interesting historical features. The breakfast buffet was extremely good with plenty of hot and cold choices. The only complaint we have ( and this goes for other establishments too!) is that the wooden tables in the dining room feel very sticky to touch, this is because the table spray builds up over time. Can the tables not be washed off with good old hot water at least once a month to avoid this? Out stay was excellent and we would definitely come back again. Thank you.

I knew this hotel years ago when, buzzing with guests and local trade, justified two restaurants. Nowadays, although some vestages of its former standing are still to be seen, it has a budget hotel appearance albeit at above budget prices. However, our room (refurbished) was clean and of a good size with a comfortable bed. My wife and I only used the restaurant for breakfast which, sadly, was uninspiring. We were not greeted but simply told to sit anywhere and we had to enquire how breakfast is served to find out that coffee came from a machine etc., Buffet items were depleted and not replenished until after had both ordered from the few separate items available on the menu. There were no breakfast rolls and virtually all the pastries had gone - many, we noted were being wrapped in napkins and taken away by some of the other guests. Interestingly, no one asked for our room number or if, indeed, we were residents. The breakfast experience was underwhelming which tends to leave a lasting impression. On a cheerier note, the reception staff were most obliging and friendly.

Not good. I have stayed here twice now and I won’t be back

Stayed for two nights. Very comfortable bed in quiet, spacious room that had been newly refurbished. The decoration was attractive and very pleasing. The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay in this central and interesting hotel in Farnham.

We (me and my wife) were staying on a special rate of £85 including breakfast. The rate was negotiated by my brother who was having a ruby wedding party at the bush. We were charged for breakfast and the money has been taken from my account. I reported the mistake on the same day as the charge was made. However no refund has has been made! I'm not impressed.

Hard work. Received an old room, poorly set out, with insufficient power points and not even complimentary water. Menu was dull and uninspiring and the bar was regularly unattended. There is insufficient / non-existent disabled parking resulting in having to walk a long way with luggage etc.
