All of the right features but missing key points. We stayed here due to a nearby wedding. Because of the time we had to arrive at the venue we booked guaranteed early check in via the website, meaning our room would be ready from 10am. On arrival and check in I was advised early check ins are not guaranteed and our room may not be ready. If this is the case, why oh why do you advertise it and allow customers to pay £35 for it. After speaking to someone on the phone my room was declared ready. Room was fresh, modern and clearly recently decorated. Very nice and perfectly comfortable. Unfortunately it didn't seem quite finished, where the bathroom door lock should be was a hole through the door and the floor still coated in what appeared to be some kind of building dust, especially the bathroom. No big deal but it's the little details that count. Overall if the little details were completed and either your website corrected or the staff correctly trained then this hotel would be overall, good.

I loved what has been done to the building. The old world feel has been preserved while the highest standard of modern convenience and hygiene has been added. This is not an easy balance to achieve. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

I emailed two days before my stay to cancel, I had no reply. I have however had an email explaining the express departure procedure which apparently I had chosen, really? When? I hadn't checked in. I emailed again and yet no reply. Now you want a review, DISGRACEFUL!

Friendly staff and nice building but a few improvements would make a world of difference. Shower was very tempremental and hairdryer sounded like it was going to explode. Bathroom generally felt old and grubby. It was fine for a short overnight stay though.

Air con didn’t work. Pillows awful (big, hard, synthetic) with no alternatives on offer (went out and purchased own). Mattress lumpy and soft (old and worn is my suspicion). View of car park with building work meant opening windows was unpleasant and especially so as no net curtains to stop us being viewed. Altogether a stressful and unpleasant. Staff were nice - Natasha and Victor did try to help, hence the score of 2 rather than 1.

Finally you decided to upgrade the hotel. Maybe the choice of color is debatable, but as a frequent customer I notice the change. Dinner is good, breakfast could improve.

My room was on the first floor, I had to carry my bags up the stairs, and on check-out, reception was unable to print the invoice which was only sent by email

I stayed in Farnham for a night with my husband and baby. I do understand that the hotel is not designed with children in mind but I was a little annoyed to not even be provided with a bed for my son. The room was far too small for 3 of us and was up quite a few stairs. There was also no air conditioning so it would have been too uncomfortable for all of us to sleep. When I asked for a travel cot, the receptionist said she didn't know if she could find it but would send someone up when they had found it. I waited for a while and went back down only to find out my phone wasnt working and nobody had come up to check if we were ok. Long story short we were given another room on the ground floor which was great so we slept very well and the staff were very nice. Also, the breakfast was exceptional.

booked in , reception changed our room, 36 degrees temp, NO WATER in bathroom, phone didn,t work had to go looking for someone. Had to work our way in & out thro workmen painting and decorating all along the corridor to room 210 , had to take our clothes out of wardrobe because pipe to aircon unit dripping water everywhere. Breakfast ok , told to sit anywhere nothing else ? are we served or help yourself ? my wife ordered porridge followed by a mushroom omelet which both came together. Car park a long way from reception. The next night we had a different hotel also in Farnham the Princess Royal which was superb but it also made us realise how bad the bush hotel was and also cheaper.

After a late arrival due train delays on the UKs hottest day of the year, the warm reception from the staff, a chilled glass of rose, with a plate of tapas in the hotel garden the world seemed a better place!

Thank you for the stay, the location was great however our room was small and warm. Reception assisted with an additional fan which helped. We had a family of pigeons outside the window and broken bird spikes outside which looks very old, new ones would make a difference. The water pressure in the shower was awful and it took ages to wash my hair. Lastly the evening barman was sharp, rude and abrupt which I thought was uncalled for as it was only approximately 11pm when we ordered a drink and felt these were over priced. However the reception staff were delightful and on check out asked about our stay and noted all of the above.

no complimentary water in the fridge, the phone didn't work in the room.. the air con was broken in the privilege room i was booked into as a gold card holder therefore wasn't available and had to have a std room but paid for executive room. the night manager and the beautiful curly haired girl on checkout were both very polite and friendly. The accor app took double points (4000 points) from the booking instead of 2000 points that it was meant to take.
