We stayed for 2 nights to take in sight seeing and a play at the theatre Everthing about hotel was superb from the staff through to the room.The staff were polite,professional and extremely helpful,the rooms spotlessly clean and had the biggest most comfortable bed. The one small concern was the size of the dining area which meant for our first breakfast we had to sit and eat on a small table in the lounge area but I must stress this was only a small inconvenience.I would certainly use hotel again and would recommend to friends and family . Thank you all for a memorable stay

Perfectly lovely.. So thankful that we could park at 9:30 am and that our room was available! so not expected. My only TINY issue was all night long I thought why would you use two foam pillows. I was getting a neck-ache. In the am I found out my husband had lucked in to the smushy one I would have loved. I think if there had been one of each on each side that would have been perfect. Otherwise lovely stay. loved having breakfast by the fire.

Took us 45 minutes to check in due to IT system issue, impossible to get check out bill the day before departure even for early bird !

This was a anniversary weekend away for myself and husband and although we made the most of the weekend it seemed we had issue after issue. Credit due to the front of house who were very nice and dealt with each issues we had but I felt I had to go to them far to many times for a one night stay! It started with getting our room two hours late but they kindly wavered the parking fee to compensate, once in the room which was ok but was definitely run down and the bed had bed thrown together I Lade the throw across the end of the bed to find a brown stain on it! We had a superior king room so did ask if we could pay to move to a suite but hotel was fully booked (obviously not their fault). The building is beautiful and in a great location and we made the most of that. The next issue we had was I had called ahead to ask about a late check out which I was told we would get a complimentary 1pm check out but when checking in we was told it was 12pm I explained about the conversation I had on the phone and was told it’s £10 extra each hour I explained I was informed the first hour is complimentary which she said ok but this made me feel awkward. Specking of awkward after enjoy an amazing breakfast that we had delivered to the room in the morning but at 10.30am we were greeted by a cleaner entering our room, she apologised and left but again had to check with front desk what our check out time was! Also we ate at the hotel restaurant as part of the gourmet package which I can not moan about the food it was lovely the only gripe we had is as a gourmet experience we were not informed that the menu we was given is not a set menu for the experience but a full menu you order from with an allowance each towards the menu and even though we enjoyed the food and service I found this very misleading especially being told after you’ve eaten! This wasn’t the best night away we had but it had nice points just could of been more enjoyable.

We arrived early and easily found our pre-reserved parking space with name clearly marked. Lucky for us our room was already ready so we could check in and enjoy the whole day. At 5pm there was a knock on the door and a happy anniversary fruit plate was delivered to us. Everything was lovely and with a late check out of 12.00 fully enjoyed the next morning too. We went for a lovely walk up the Long Walk. Windsor is a special place. Thanks Castle Hotel.

The reception staff and manager were very courteous and helpful when checking in, but hindered by IT system not handling our booking clearly. The rooms were well cleaned, but an item of furniture was badly stained from past misuse. Again, the Manager moved swiftly to replace it. The breakfast was disappointing, with food barely warm, and whilst the choice was reasonable, it would be better if fish options, and other egg options, e.g poached or omelettes, were made easily accessible, We were only told to choose from what was available on the buffet. Finally, we are disabled and many better hotels offer free parking to those with blue badges. The overnight charge is 25 pounds, so adds significantly to our stay. We are considering staying locally next month and will weight this up when booking.

Shower wasn’t clean , room was minimal, carpark was expensive considering the money I spent on the room and we had no notice to book the restaurant in the hotel.

Completed the Palace to Palace cycle ride and didn't want to go straight back to London. Hotel was excellent , ideal location with secure car park so could leave bike overnight in car. Hotel staff were welcoming and didn't bat an eyelid when I turned up in sweaty , damp bike kit. Room was just what was needed, hot , powerful shower, coffee making facilities and comfortable bed. We strolled round Windsor and popped over to Eton before enjoying returning to the Hotel and dinner in the Marco Pierre White restaurant. Really good value. Attentive service and good portion size which left us feeling full but not stuffed. Next morning breakfast was also v good value with huge range of options covering full English, to continental with croissants , ham and cheese and most things in between. all in all a great stop over.

Overall very nice, thanks to the clean room and comfortable bed, friendly staff and good quality breakfast. I felt very welcome and well taken care of. As my stay was part of a business trip I would have appreciated a small table/desk in the room to be able to work on my computer, this obviously is not available in all rooms.

The hotel was in a perfect location. We arrived late after a very longs day traveling & the young man ( I think Justin) in the bar was so accommodating in getting us sandwiches & wonderful cocktails at almost midnight.

I booked two superior rooms, one to include a put you up bed for my daughter and her family. This room was upgraded without any extra cost to me and my daughter and her family were extremely pleased to have such a spacious and comfortable stay. Our rooms were on the same level as requested and our parking spaces allotted for our arrival. Restaurant service and food quality was every bit as good as we had hoped. which contributed to a most enjoyable stay to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. Thank you.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of Windsor. Very good and comfortable beds and "matelas". Personnel very kind and reliable (a man at the reception printed for me my boarding card). We would recommend this hotel. Restaurant for breakfast very good (good and strong coffee) as well for dinner, very good dinner for French people who like to eat well! I should say that we were not deceived in Windsor in pubs, we ate very well. See you soon.

The room was comfortable and quiet, despite a party over the way. We had a bar snack which was rather expensive - bread on sandwiches was stale and the filling sparse. The hotel should pre warn people about the cost of their parking which was expensive.

Our room was unhealthily hot and the window were shabby and did not open properly. The interior of the bathroom door was aged, damaged and rather damp looking with paint chipping off. The shower use created puddling on the floor and the door fouled the bath mat when placed to combat the flooding. We were told that the air conditioning was air cooling only - this was ineffective and we requested a fan twice, it never arrived. The female receptionist said that she couldn't understand what I was saying. I am British and English is my first language? Not the standard I was expecting from a hotel of this description and one who charges nigh on £200 for a night with parking.
