Hotel was well located. Rooms we off a nice size. Liked the bath and shower being separate. Bar and Restaurant were of a good size with a reasonable selection on the food and drinks menu. One word of advice do not order the Nasi Goreng, it was terrible. more like a chili spiced dry curry and not a good one of them. Apart from that the other item of the menu we has was very good.

The rooms are always comfortable, although I did have problems with the pillows this time, too hard and woke up with neck ache. On arriving, the lady on reception was a little curt, and reeled off the details we needed to know (times of meals etc.) far too quickly for us to a) hear and b) absorb. We are both in our 70s as not as sharp as we once were. Also, I did advise a member of staff when ringing to confirm our booking, that this was our honeymoon. We had a lovely room, which we were happy to pay for, but a complimentary vase of flowers or a bottle of bubbly at dinner would have been a nice surprise gesture from the hotel. Many thanks

Having booked a room for 2pm check in for an executive room whikst attending a wedding at the hotel, we arrived at 2.15 to be told we couldn't check in due to a football team been present in the hotel and there was nothing they could do about it and supposidly all guests had been informed of this prior to the day . No other wedding guests had been informed of this. Absolutely disgusted that our customs was clearly not as important as footballers. After a heated conversation and a suggestion of some complimentary drinks whilst we wait a room became available for us. After a 2hr journey this was an unnecessary stress that tainted a very rare child free night away with my husband. Although the hotel itself, the room , facilities and breakfast were lovely the lack of communication between guests and staff was appalling

Value for money is pretty good, location excellent for what I wanted and the food in the restaurant was very good, fresh and well cooked and presented , restaurant staff real good. The bedrooms and common spaces are very tired though however reflected in price but I feel time is approaching where the rooms need attention as does the public areas

We had a great stay, the gym and pool were fabulous as was the size of our room. Reception were very friendly and helpful. I would say the room and bathroom were a little tired and could do with an update, but the cleanliness was very good.

I had telephoned the evening before to book the room and specifically asked for a ground floor room as my mother is almost 86 and registered disabled. When we checked in however, we were told they were all booked and we ended up on the second floor, possibly the furthest room away from reception and the bar/restaurant.

Room 41 was far too hot. Had the bedroom window and bathroom window wide open but it just seemed to come up through the floor. Spa was really poor experience. We pre booked a hot stones massage and full body exfoliation and polish weeks in advance. When we got there, the girl advised they couldn't be done together and that we could go separately, so in the end we changed our treatments. The girls doing the massages didn't say what they were using on us and I'm a fan of decleor. I was hoping to know more about any products I could have purchased but no information was given on anything. Overall a poor experience especially as it was for my birthday!!

The hotel is lovely and the staff very friendly but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the room in particular the quality of the bed. I booked a double and it was just two single beds pushed together that made the bed uncomfortable and uneven. The mattress wasn’t very comfy either. A lack of plugs next to each side of the bed was inconvenient too. In addition I felt the bar prices were extortionate with 3 drinks costing in excess of £20
