This ous a lovely friendly cosy hotel with great spa and pool facilities. The bed breakfast and evening meal deal we had was great value and amazing food. Easy to get to. Close to motorway but middle of Lancashire countryside.

Very pleasant Hotel, rooms fine, but the campbed offered in the family room was so uncomfortable it was unusable. Paid for the superior upgrade but very little difference between the two rooms booked, some toiletries but no more, not worth the £15 per night upgrade cost. The restaurant is excellent, great food and attentive staff. Would we stay there again? Yes

« Fabulous weekend spa break »

Members of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time. Special thanks to spa team. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Lovely view from our executive bedroom, good food, service and pampering. The valentine's ball was a hoot! The hotel is in a great location for walking - we enjoyed climbing Pendle hill and the Pendle sculpture trail. Can't wait to come back .

Beautiful hotel .. we were put in a disabled room with no bath ... I normally don’t like to complain but had a long day as it was my father in laws funeral and just wanted a bath to relax ...I was moved with no fuss and the girl was lovely but I don’t understand why I was put in a disabled room

As I booked a spa package that includes 2 spa treatments each. No where did it say I needed to book them online, I got to the hotel and the receptionist said all’s I had to do was go into the spa and get my treatments she didn’t say nothing about previously booking them. We had no spa treatments what so ever so I had basically paid a lot of money to have my meals which were awful and a bed for 2 nights. The spa said they could get us in at 1 the day we left. We check out at 12 why on earth would we want to do that. I’m sorry but my previous stay before was lovely and this stay wasn’t what I thought it was gonna be. I’m so disappointed. And I won’t be staying again.

Our room was in the courtyard which was fine but the room we stayed in was very plain and in need of modernisation and some pictures hung on the walls. The dinner was beautiful and staff were great. We found out later that there are modernised rooms in the hotel and as it was Valentines Day it would have been nice to be put in one of those as the hotel didn’t seem too busy. We’d stay again but only in a modernised room.
