The hotel location is extraordinary, in front of the river and at a perfect walking distance to the touristic center and st Stephen’s cathedral. Staff is welcoming and helpful, rooms are spacious and very comfortable, there is no noise at all in the room, the shower pressure was super good, internet was working perfectly… add to that the super minimalistic decor of the hotel and you have an amazing combination for a good stay

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The architecture is so chic and the interior is at its best. Service is also top notch. Quality of the bed, pillows, linens and etc. are at the high grade. We are extremely delighted to be upgraded as well as Accor Platinum member and we managed to have the best view of Vienna from our suite. Also, SO Vienna has one of the best hotel gym we have been, fully equipped and clean. The only thing i would highlight on were the check-in. The lady was not very clear on our welcome drinks. Even when we had to ask her later on where to claim, it was not informed to us properly. Nevertheless this one of the best hotel we've stayed in the Europe and will definitely come back again when we are in Vienna.

The staff are very friendly and competent. The hotel is very modern. I love the layout of the rooms. And it is in great location. Love the top bar/restaurant. The spa and jacuzzi are great. It lacks a pool though.

The location is ace, and if you book a room with a view to Stephansdom you'll wake up to a spectacle. Also the staff was exceptionally caring, friendly, competent. The only downside is that while the Wifi is fast and reliable the rest of the IT equipment is dated. Relatively small TV, no streaming service available, no wireless charger, and the Bose radio is not Bluetooth compatible. It feels like 10 years back while the SO otherwise looks and is up-to-date. So for the amount of money guests are paying IT needs upgrading! Would I come back nonetheless? For sure!
