The room was a bit shabby around the table area. Staff fantasic as always. Got all my special needs i asked for on booking. Needed new batteries for tv control, staff sorted it no problem. Sylvia and birmingham accent gentleman very polite and hospitable.

Stayed here recently on an overnight stopover. Very clean and friendly staff. Good value for money. Only thing was requested gluten free breakfast and despite reminder on arrival no bread available on the morning.

Good sized and comfortable bed. Good shower pressure. WiFi connection very slow. Good breakfast though the croissants are not as good as in a previous visit. The room is really just for sleeping in. There is a tv but no comfortable chair. But if you are just passing through it’s perfectly ok and good value.

Great, staff were all friendly, attentive but respectful of privacy. Lovely atmosphere and accepting of the different individuals staying in the hotel. The hotel was clean and the facilities were just what we needed. Didn't miss having tea and coffee in the room at all as the drink machine was available and had quality coffee and teas available for use at all times. Would book again in a heartbeat if in the area again. Thank you all very much for such a lovely stay.

I’ve stayed at Ibis before, not realising this was Ibis Budget, we booked our stay here. The rooms are basic but fresh but in honestly that all I needed during this stay so it was ideal. However, your staff.. WOW!!! (On the morning of 12 August) what fantastic customer service. Their approach, attitude and just literally everything about them was 10/10.

It was lovely. I hate the fact that the windows only open as far as about two millimetres, though. I can't emphasise enough how much that annoys me. I get so cross. Also, the remote control for the television set was bad. Very difficult to use. However, the shower was the best I've ever had in ANY hotel. Ever. Not just a budget chain hotel, but ANY hotel I've ever stayed in, including five-star hotels. I've stayed at the Ibis Budget Derby hotel for several years running and have always thought that the showers were good.

It was awful. We heard people shouting and messing around at all hours. Kept me and my friend and her 2 year old daughter up all night. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and all round disappointed with the experience. Will not be returning to a ibis again.

We stayed for 3 nights recently, front staff, catering and manager were incredibly helpful and pleasant. Our breakfast was perfect and piping hot, beds comfortable and lovely crisp white bedding. Shower was amazing. Only niggle was no kettle in room and as I'm disabled it meant my husband doing trips to the canteen for our complimentary drinks. Five stars, see you again definately Thanks to all for a brilliant stay
