Disappointed in that I was quoted $82 online but paid $139 for an overnight stay when I had booked in advance. Otherwise, rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful as we were staying there for a school t.. The breakfast was ample and everything was fresh and topped up regular as there were a number of schools staying at the accommodation on the same night. Elevators are slow. You could walk the stairs faster than it took the elevators to get from reception to level 6.

Everything was satisfactory for what we needed and expected. Just a few little things that would have improved the stay. A chair in our room would have been handy, and the furniture at breakfast was old and unstable. Only small things, overall it met our needs.

I get that the hotel is a 'Budget', so I understand that the amenities will be small. I don't think this should mean a compromise on cleanliness though. The room had not been dusted in what seemed like forever (desktop, on top of air conditioner switch, floors in corners); there were hand prints all over the window; when I went to make the bunk bed, the blanket was covered in hair - of various colours and lengths; the tea/coffee trays were dirty if you lifted the contents out; the carpet was filthy.

Was ok, did the job for convenience only, wasn't impressed that I had to go and ask for bed linen/blanket for one of the beds, the bin had not been emptied from previous people and the complimentary tea and coffee hadn't been topped up, not that impressed, would only stay there again due to convenience, unfortunately you only get what you pay for.

Stayed with you for one night, and was disappointed. Firstly I asked if you had a trolley to help with our luggage and there was not one. Secondly and most importantly thru the night we had this disgusting sewerage smell coming from the drain in the room. We woke around 2am with this horrible smell in the room. I spoke with the receptionist early that morning and she apologised. I have stayed at this hotel before with no problems but was not impressed at all this time.

I didn’t realise it was a bedsit room when I booked so when one of us was in the shower the other couldn’t use the toilet or leave the room. We adapted but was a surprise.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Ibis Budget Sydney. My room was ready when I checked-in. It was small, but very clean and I felt safe and contained. I had requested a dark, quiet room and it was just that - dark when I drew the blinds and whisper quiet. The staff were warm, engaging and professional. I'm so happy to recommend the Ibis Budget to fellow travellers.

Everything was fine except for the fact the blind wouldn’t close (about a 30cm gap to the windowsill) and I had a street light shining in my eyes all night. It was very hard to sleep with a spotlight on my face. Room 325
