« Incompetent, rude and dishonest! »

I was kindly invited by Mr. Abderrazak AJBAR, Managing Director of Precia Molen Maroc, to stay at the IBIS Hotel Casablanca (close to the railway station). The check-in happened March 29 and it took quite a while as Mr. AJBAR arranged to prepay my stay. Mr. AJBAR told me that I was his guest and that I could order anything in the bar - as everything was prepaid. During my two night stay I consumed two Casablanca beers, but I had only one breakfast as I checked out before 6 am the last morning. When I left the hotel I wanted to pay for my two beers, as I didn’t want to stretch Mr. AJBAR’s hospitality. I told the man at the counter that I wanted to pay the two beers charged on room 714. He said that I had to pay the full bill for the two nights. I said three (3) times that the everything was prepaid and I just wanted to pay the consumption in the bar. I told him that there were paperwork done and everything was prepaid. He responded rudely and said that I will get in trouble if I didn’t pay. I would have called management if I would have had time, but I had a train to catch to go to the airport... so I paid the bill. Do your personnel really think that a guest (from abroad) who has checked in with own name and a large Moroccan company as a host would try to run from a bill? The whole errand was incompetently handled by your staff, your portiere was rude and if you do not refund me your management is dishonest. + the breakfast was fine + restaurant staff are nice + there was no noise at the rooms - finding a parking is horrible - reception can be more welcoming. - toiletries are poor - Pillows are old, renew please - toilette ventilation should be restudied - could use a kettle and a free water bottle in the room

« The Hotel is conveniently located in City Centre with the best breakfast in its category »

I like the Hotel and it is conveniently located near the happening places in the city. All is good about the hotel but for the satellite TV services. The popular free basic channels weren't airing during my stay. For example BBC News English, Al Jazeera news English. In fact there was no English channels at all. This was disappointing. Besides, everything else was OK, the staff was courteous and prompt, breakfast was good, internet service was good and room neat and clean. About the payment policy, they charged me advance for the 4 nights stay. Not sure if that the norm. Please look into it.

The hotel staff were all courteous and nice and made sure everyone felt welcome. Although all guests are treated equally, le club Accor hotels members still feel special and privileged. I’ve traveled to Casablanca multiple times already and have stayed at Ibis Casa Citycenter eveytime because its like coming home away from home

Staff very kind. But still they need to add something like kettle tea coffee in every room. The parking very small they need more space . But in global clean and kind hotel.

I spent two nights at this hotel. My stay was confortable and the service was ok. Breakfast room, just next to the hotel reception, was a bit noisy bur still ok. All kind of food were there. Nice and clean room as well.

Getting to the hotel was a nightmare - The hotel is in a really busy area of Casa, Parking is also a nightmare, had to leave my car key with the security so they could move it. Check in was busy, however did not have to wait too long, had the normal problem, as our wedding Certificate was in English, as we were married in London, the the service and attitude then changes when the the Moroccan man realises that I am white, English and not a muslim, and I have married a Moroccan Lady. It is the same in most hotels in Morocco ( Racists) its a real shame !! Room was small, I paid extra for a cool modern room, it was ok, not 100% clean, but ok, also we had a major problem with the water, the water was yellow and dirty.....!! I only realised when I had been in the shower for a few minutes. So I have to drive 7 hours to Saidia, knowing I was dirty. Went to the bar, in the evening, asked for a beer, was given Budweiser the most expensive on the menu at 60 MAD (6 Euros), so changed to local Flag beer at 30 MAD (3 Euros), could not pay for drinks via the room, and had to pay cash, which I did not have on me.... he did not get a tip and it was 100% clear he was not happy. The next morning, we looked at Breakfast, asked if I could have an Omelette, they said no, but here are scrambled eggs, the waiter should me around the hot buffet and most hot plates were empty or the food looked like it had been there a while. So we took breakfast somewhere else. The security guards were excellent, smiled, and were very helpful and professional. We have been using Accor hotels for many years in Morocco, Uk and Europe, so know the hotels very well. 850 MAD for 1 night not including breakfast is way too expensive for rooms, location and service. It was an ok stay, however, not sure if we will return.

« great location, modern hotel, good breakfast »

Check-in/out was smooth. Our room was clean and the bathroom was new and clean. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. We could easily catch the train to the airport, because Casa Port Station is next door. We also walked to the clock tower and Old Medina. Staff was friendly.

The room was good enough - still below IBIS red standard, I am familiar from Europe. Housekeeping needs significant improvements - the bathroom was never cleaned (same stains remained for the duration of my week-long stay, hair-dryer handle was greasy and dirty as well), room was cleaned only briefly. Check-in staff OK, no issues. A query to explain a charge with receptionist claiming that his name is Ahmed (refused to provide his surname) mounted up to an unpleasant quarrel as according to hotel employee his four years in *service* empowers him to disregard customers.
