Overall was a good stay,the access to the Hotel is pretty easy,just next to the train station (Casa port),not far from two lovely restaurants squala and ricks caffe 2 min by taxi or 10 min by walk. Friendly staff,some of them very polite and helpful,the only downside was the room, a little bit small

« Consistently high level of service. »

Have been staying regularly (> 100 night's pa) at the hotel since 2016 and have noted a consistently high level of service. Great staff, good bar (World Cup large screen) and restaurant, plus comfortable room. Excellent value compared to any other Casablanca properties.

It was a pleasant stay for the hotel is clean and has a great central location however the food is of bad quality. Breakfast is a disaster for they take out food from the day before (therefore would be sometimes dry or going bad), food option decreased each day that went by and what annoyed me the most that on each day we found expired yogurts on display.

« Worse experience ever »

Worse experience ever, no words to describe. As soon as I check in, i found HAIR in my toilet ( all over) and also dirty bed lines. After complains at reception ( no apologies, only sent me someone to clean but no change my bed lines) which took me time as no one answer the telephone, i had to go down stairs. Staffs are rude, cant understand english very well and no efforts to resolve problems. Breakfast ok for the price but one more time everything is very dirty.

« Unprofessional service and the most dirty room i have seen. »

I will make a list: 1- The receptionist told me my reservation was cancelled even when i did the online checkin and advised i was going to arrive between 20h00 and 23h00 2- They gave me the key to room 101, which surprisingly was the matress storage room. 3- They give me a second key to room 118 which was not working on the key lock 4- They make me wait for 20 minutes in front of the door for the maintenance guy to come and open the door. 5- I come in to a room which is full of dust, bathroom full of dust, toilet completely dirty and water coming out of the shower red colored like they didnt use the room for 1 year. I even found a dead butterfly under an Accor catalogue over the desk. 6- Our arms could stick to the surface of the tables in the restaurant, they where dirty for months, same for the forks and knifes. 7- TV was not working 8- AC not working 9- All the time we asked for assitnace from any of the hotel personel we received a laugh and responses like... you are in morocco... this is the way we are. THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE I HAD IN YEARS

The hotel is clean but the breakfast is of bad quality. Expired Yoghurts were expired in a daily basis + Left over food from the day before was presented + each day that went by the available options reduced. We stayed there for 3 nights.

The location is near the old town, and a 10-min (small) taxi ride to the famous mosque. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The computer and printer in the lobby was great for printing boarding passes and doing research for the trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The only minus point was the traffic in front of the hotel was horrible due to the constructions nearby, and also the road changes. The car parking was small with limited space. So be prepared if you are driving your car there.

« Lack of cleanliness and climate control ( air conditioning ) »

1 : bathroom fans were not working so bathroom was foggy and mold and mildew on the tile around the sink wall and toilet wall also. Next day in the morning bathroom smelled like mold and mildew due to lack of ventilation. 2 : when I turned on the air conditioning only fans were working and blowing warm dusty air. I could smell the dust in the air so I turned it OFF , my wife noticed it too . My wife she is a certified climate control specialist. She said that you guys need to service the climate control system and clean the filters regularly. I also stayed at ibis casa voyageur on may 27th 2018, that time air conditioning system wasnt working at all . I complained at the front desk and I checked out of the room after 2 hours . It was unbearably hot . So on both stays on 2 different locations and different dates I wasnt satisfied. Luckily I'm not sensitive to dust bust some other visitor are and will get sick from that dusty air . Honestly never again deal with you guys or your hotel chains . Obviously you guys need to work on your climate control systems in all your hotels .Thank you.

« Good but could be better »

Very nice stay and the room was perfect for my business needs, I am a regular visitor. I was only here for a few days during the Holy month so my expectations were not too high. I have to comment on the restaurant though. I did not have any meals at the hotel although I did look at the possibility. The buffet had obviously been put together with disinterest for the non-Muslim patrons and did not look at all inviting (salads looked bare, dry and strong smells from the hot dishes counter). But worse, I sat down in an attempt to have dinner on my first night of arrival and sat there for what seemed a long time without being served - only a hand-full of guests in the restaurant - I decided to leave and didn't endeavor to try to eat again at the hotel during this stay (There are many other options close-by). My message is: If you wish to remain open during Ramadan then, or close your restaurant after F'tor or maintain it functional also for ALL your clients. Similar problems with breakfast also.

« Terrible service from a supposedly good international property »

We'd been in Morocco for a month. 2 weeks before Ramadan and 2 weeks after. So we know what's going on. We'd traveled all over the country and stayed in many different properties. From local to high end international. I'd gotten sick the day before in Fes. From something I ate at Carrefour! So wasn't feeling good. Walking into the hotel, I saw signs advertising a wok restaurant and some small snacks that were available for delivery to your room. This was on a panel near the front door, in the elevator and in my room on the menu card. Great! I feel terrible and just want a light bite in my room as I can't handle anything else. I ask the restaurant what's going on and they say only open after sunset and it's some 290MAD for the buffet. Which is the only option, and no room service. OK, so we go for a short walk hoping it will make me feel better. It doesn't. I come back and ask the front desk about room service? No. The wok restaurant? Closed for Ramadan. Ok. What about a snack? Easy? Available 24/7 at the bar around the corner. Go to the bar. The worker there tells me the front desk doesn't know what they are talking about. He runs the bar and we should only talk with him. Right there, I about ready to throw up again. I feel terrible. People are eating all over the place, and smoking HEAVILY in the bar. I don't smoke, nor does my wife. We're both starting to get dizzy from the smoke. The barman tells us it will only be 10 minutes. Have a beer and wait. OK. 30 minutes later, and feeling very sick, watching everybody eat and smoke heavily, I lose it. Where's my food? Coming? You said that 30 minutes OK. I'm told to just sit. NO. I'm sick! Then I'm offered a seat in the lobby away from the smoke. The LOBBY! Jeez. I ask the front desk, where I wait over 10 minutes for somebody to come and help me. I yell HELLO! Nobody there, nobody answers. Finally, somebody shows up. Same guy. Yes, you can get food in the bar. OK, why have I been waiting now 45 minutes while everybody else around me is eating? Now I've lost it. The staff have no clue as to what's going on and I'm being treated the worst during my entire trip to Morocco. Close to the worst I've ever been treated in a hotel. I travel 4 months of the year, have been for the past 20 years. I've stayed in hotels in over 100 countries. Accor properties in over 20 countries. Often! Finally, a group of 4 staff get together, argue a bunch, they say, OK, we'll bring a hamburger up to your room. This is over 3 hours of me trying to get some food. With ads everywhere about room service, etc. At least least, take down the signs and educate your staff. I see the staff eating everywhere, smoking everywhere, but a customer, who's sick, can't get a bite to eat. Absolutely horrible service. NOT the way to treat guests. Robert t.

« Dated rude staff smell of drains and nothing at breakfast »

The hotel was dated and tired. The rooms were nice but had to change rooms at 11.30pm due to the bad smell of drains. The breakfast at 8.00am was empty no pastries no eggs no sausages had to keep asking for food, when we paid for this ? Will not stay again I used ibis before and it was fine but this one never again . Only good thing was the location the security men all friendly. Feel like I wasted my money

I booked for a room with a queen bed, didn't get it. Room and bathroom were filthy. Was assigned to the side where road constructions was held. The construction with have machinery went through the whole night. The buffet, rice and salads were overdue. Breakfast, boiled eggs were under cooked. And why mind paying for breakfast if no one is checking.

« Room great, but service lacking »

Had an excellent time in the Fes Ibis which was almost like a resort, so was disappointed with the Casablanca Ibis. The room was great apart from there being no handtowels and only one spot for power outlet, and none in the bathroom. The power outlet was in such an awkward spot however, that my adapter would not fit and I had to re-charge my lap-top at reception. Customer service was very perfunctory and we sat for 10 minutes in the restaurant before any attention from a waiter. The menu was confusing and the meal only so-so. There were also many noisy and men nearby watching soccer from the adjacent bar. To top it off, there were some students dining (and studying) in the restaurant in their pyjamas! I spoke to the waiter when we paid and he shrugged his shoulders. All this, made the restaurant feel like a casual café, and not a restaurant where one expects to have a quiet atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Also, after being told at reception that we could do a small currency ex-change there, the next morning when we went down to do this, the morning staff-member refused us and said that they don't provide that service! Very contradictory and a very stress-inducing for us as we had a plane to catch and had to quickly find another solution.

From the beginning to the end of my stay, I did not feel welcome at the hotel. The staff spoke harshly and bluntly, and I did not receive the customer service I expected to receive from an Accor Group Hotel. As I checked in, the receptionist did not seem to care about me at all. There was no proper introduction of the hotel and it's facilities, and I was not explained the check out procedures until I asked. I also asked if there was any amenity left for me in my room as I had specified that my stay was for my birthday, and the receptionist seemed unaware. I left the reception feeling unsatisfied. I had lost my bag at the airport and asked the receptionist to assist me with this as I do not speak the language. They told me to return the next morning. Fortunately the receptionist the next morning was more accommodating and gave me more useful information. I then proceeded to the restaurant to have some dinner. At this point it was quite late, but as advertised the restaurant was not closed yet. I went the restaurant, saw people eating there but was told to eat at the bar as it was closed. Proceeded to the bar, ordered food, and saw that other people were seated at the restaurant. I was very annoyed at this point.
