Can't rate this hotel highly enough,absolutely fantastic staff,situation perfect (3-4 minute walk from nearest metro)room basic but large,spacious,clean. Breakfast good value for money. I would stay again no problem what so ever.

I was happy with my stay at IBIS Hero's Square. The hotel is around 6 stops in Metro 1 from center. The area is nice and clean. There is a beautiful park near by and the thermal baths are at walking distance. There are also mini markets at walking distance for buying water, juices etc. Travel to center takes just 5/6 minutes on metro.

Pre trip questions answered quickly and online check in was easy, arrival all good. Room was OK, a little shabby with torn blinds and curtain not fitted into rail, We departed for sightseeing each day by 9am returning around 3pm for a rest, each day the room had not yet been cleaned. Service poor! We did get fresh towels on our final day once I had found the housekeeping staff. Check out was fine also. We didn't take breakfast

Unfortunately from the first time my experience was very bad, because I made the booking trough the hotel website and then I called to the hotel and the attention was not good. Once I arrived to the hotel, the person in the reception was not kind, I made a few question regarding a corporate invoice and the answers were impolite. Then, during breakfast I have seen how the staff treated other guests, and again they were rude. During the last year I have traveled a lot and I have always stayed in the Accor Hotels, this is the first time this happens to me and I do not think I will stay at your hotel again(Heroes Square). I hope my comment is taken into consideration, so that customer service improves and future guests have better experiences than mine.

The room provided did not had a proper window blinds. Further the AC wasnt even working at all. I got to know that one wing of the hotel had the same issue. Yet the rooms were provided to guests. This is sheer bad service. Unlike last experience in Prague, this has been a dissappointment

It was good experience..super friendly staff....good service...reason for me to stick with Accorhotels... One thing I observed was the room windows were not air tight sealed due to which we could hear lot of street noise. I would like you to fix that.

Terrible 29c in bedroom at night air con not working properly,was given a fan after complaining had to ask for the fan.Room not cleaned for 5 days,bed not changed or made until we complained on night 8.Asked reception to come and look at the bed and room they agreed it was disgraceful. I have stayed in IBIS hotels for years and visit Budapest regularly but i will think twice about staying in this hotel again

I have had difficulty with my late reservation, my own fault, and the receptionists were able to find a great solution to take care of the matter. I have been a guest here before and my overall experience has always been very good, efficient and polite arrangements, and high quality premises. This time, however, the extra effort and help on the part of receptionist have been the most welcome, solving for me what could have been a problem of my own making. We arrived very late at 2am in the morning and were told the hotel’s AC was broken. We checked out the room and it was barely breathable. We requested to switch rooms to a room with AC and we’re granted the request. 2 days later that room was infested with ants, to the point where I had to pick them off my legs in my sleep and throw them off. We requested a room change once again, and were put in the “newly renovated” first floor which was surprisingly VERY pleasant, and felt a solid 4-star quality. If we had been in that room for our entire stay it would have been really great.

Broadly satisfied, required a fan or better Aircon.
