Staff are friendly. The only issue is my accor membership card did not allow me to have 50% discount (buy one get one free) at the lobby bar. I went to Seoul and have dinner in Noveltel but was only given 15% discount Is there any change in the discount scheme?

Big room and big bed. Next to MRT. There are open air restaurant at the back of the hotel. The hotel is connected to Line 1 of MRT and can easily access to Shekou to HK airport or Lo Wu land port, one end to another.

The hotel is 1 minute far from the subway exit. The location is convenient and the lobby of the hotel is just being redecorate, it’s modern and nice. The room is big and clean. One thing needs to improve is the breakfast place, it’s old and the air conditioning is not good. Moreover, the setting of the tables is not well designed for travelers.

Upon checking in, there was only 1 girl and was dealing with another customer and after 6 minutes waiting for that 1 customer, she finally called assistance. was a bit too long wait. The room looked nice but after checking the pillow it was fully stained inside the case. The case was clean but had many black short hairs on them. Bedding and matress was clean. Toilet: The towel also had long black hairs on them and under the toilet seat too. so i was not too impressed and informed the room director of the findings and to change them.

It was not very good at the beginning because of the room's bath spray was having some problem which could be fix before any customer's arrival. Fortunately , I met Susan Wang from the reception who has explained and consoled me well making my stay becomes more present, thanks to her.

Bad service, no proper english in reception, wrong directions and timetable to get the boat to Hong Kong airport, really bad food. Worst experience ever in accor hote and I'm a platinum member being travelled all over the world

I had a great stay at the Grand Mercure Oriental Ginza Hotel in Futian, Shenzhen last week. The room was clean, the service impeccable and as always (I am a frequent visitor) I especially enjoyed the executive lounge on the top floor. It is run by a great staff with their fabulous manager Maria who really takes great care of the guests.

This hotel is a large professional hotel with great rooms and staff. It is a solid hotel, it is like a well greased engine that are running smoothly. The rooms are great in any category. There is several good restaurants and it has swimming pool and gym as well. The only thing I noticed this time is that I think the breakfast in the lounge is not at the same level as before, this may have something to do that they are rebuilding parts of the restaurants, I don't know. This hotel is safe to stay at, it will not let you down.

At the time of booking i had requested for an upgrade of my suite room as i am regular guest . During Check in I reminded the front office desk guy and requested a corner room suite if the upgrade was not possible. He gave me a pretty bad room and at the intervention of Maria from Executive Lounge my room was changed one hour after check in. I use Executive lounge and the meeting room quite frequently and I have appreciation for the staff at Executive lounge. Maria is an asset for Grand Mercure
