At least there should be 1 representative at reception, coffee shop who can speak and understand English very well. Lots of European and Indians stay here but the language issue is a big issue. Please separate vegetarian food from pork and non veg. Here pork was with potatoes, picked with same folk. At least 1 power socket required near bed for charging

« Its always okay for me »

I have stayed in GM Shenzhen numerous times in the last few years. Overall there is not much problem with the hotel except a few things: - it is slowly aging and it became visible -check-in and out is quite slow (it took more than 15 minutes last time) and at the office I realized that even the invoice was incorrect - please do not place a pregnant woman into a hard-working position during peak hours of breakfast. I felt really sorry for her

Starting from the concierge, throughout the reception than the breakfast staff and the room service; everywhere I was greeted with friendly smile but even the eyes were smiling and that was the best example that it was meant genuine. I have noticed various names from the people that took my attention with pleasant behavior and professional approach as well as surprisingly good knowledge of English or German language. (I wish I would speak the Chinese at least that good. By the way I started going to school to learn it): - David Cheng – concierge apart of other service organized in very short time the dispatch of small parcel which was going to Chinese Partner Company - Bonnie – the friendly lady at the reception - Mr. Rowley Luo and Eric Xiao – with professional approach and behavior - Stefanie – the friendly language multitalent at the breakfast room - Jackson – the friendly guide through your choice of food as well as translator in the conversation with you excellent Chef Cook (didn’t catch his name) - Hua Xiao Ling the friendly lady from the breakfast room who even not talking English was able to read the wishes from our eyes and bring us the needed drink or coffee - Of course all the other staff not namely mentioned who look after the very clean room and other area of the hotel service Looking forward to my next visit to Shenzhen. I received excellent service, especially from SUSAN 王智慧 in reception. Her English is very good, she was very friendly, efficient, and professional. Susan checked us in more smoothly than all of the other hotels where I have stayed in Shenzhen. Overall, lovely staff.

« Had to fight for my Accor member benefits. »

The Good: It's across the road from the Futian Bus Terminal. The Bad: They make you fight for LeClub Accor points. They set a high minimum nightly rate to post them immediately. If you don't pay a fortune for the room, then they make you fight with customer service for it. Conclusion: AVOID this hotel. PS. Water pressure in shower was extremely weak.

It was great, we were upgraded to executive floor. But unfortunately being upgraded also meant not being able to use the benefits of the executive floor. If we knew that was the case we would have rather to stay in the regular floors

« Big room, best location »

I was travelled to Shenzhen for the first time. I came to Shenzhen from HK. You can reach this hotel to Zhuizilin Station from Futian check point station. Don't use illegal Taxi, will be very Expensive. This hotel next to Zhuizilin Station. Very comfortable, big room, very close to MTR Station. And especially, their staff can speak English fluently,. As a note in Shenzhen not so many people can speak English. Totally different with Hong Kong. I suggest this Hotel as place to stay if you wish to stay at Shenzhen

« A stay over Christmas »

The time at the hotel was too fast so we must have enjoyed ourselves. Everything was fine. We were looked after very well. We went to our friend’s Christmas party. The hotel was easy to get to, located very near the major transportation centre so it was easy to get to by bus and easy to leave by the metro.

« Watch out where you park »

Rooms are ok, clean and comfortable. Frontdesk could be more efficient, much more efficient. Parking is difficult not to say impossible from time to time. I got a parking space outside the hotel this time and came back to an extremely dirty car due to their renovation.
