« Loved my stay »

I was pleasantly greeted upon arrival and the hotel is very lovely. I then learned I would be upgraded. The room I received was very much unexpected. The room was beautiful, with the best oceanview. The bed was super comfortable. We loved our room with all the amenities. We had the breakfast buffet the next morning and the food was great. I truly wished I could have stayed longer.

« Great Location & Clean Room, yet requires Pool Amenity improvement »

As always, it is a great hotel with many great memories. I will continue to use this hotel as long as it stays to exist in Haeundae Beach. One thing that I am unsatisfied is how the customers with children use the pool amenity. I believe misbehaved children should be prevented or requested to leave the pool area if they make obscene behaviors as such as screaming/running/interrupting other fellow swimmers. Parents are too nice to their children to allow any behavior while the hotel does not enforce no rules.

« Awful amenity in Novotel Busan »

It is 250USD hotel and they didnt even provide razor and toothbrush. They charge for all of the basic amenity. What is the point of the 250USD hotel room charge? Everyone knows its so old hotel, and if service is that bad, whats the point staying there?

While it is a comfortable hotel, it is not up to the standard that it should be compared to the price that is charged for rooms. The air conditioning wasn't working in the room, which was a corner room that got a lot of sun, so the temperature was consistently around 27 degrees celcius. The rooms are dated, and could do with an upgrade. The breakfast was ok, but not worth the price charged. The location is great, but I would consider another hotel next time I go to Busan as I don't think the Novotel is good value for money.

Very nice hotel in a great location near the beach and nice big rooms - also convenient for the tour bus. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and an omelette station which was a bonus- overall a nice experience

« Excellent location/view, okay staff and old facilities »

Staffs were mostly kind, except a receptionist during my checkout - she said my credit card was declined but couldn't locate the problem. She made me uncomfortable, keep saying the card didn't go through. It turned out that there's small technical issues (in-room calling added 800 won to the final bill so it's different from initial amount) but instead of making customer comfortable, she repeatedly said the issue. There's loud music festival during the first and second day of my stay. No staff during my check-in informed about it so I couldn't manage my time on those days well. Noise level was simply too high.

« Busan by the beach! »

Great location by the beach in Busan. Easy bus ride to all Busans' attractions, Jagalchi Fish Market ,The Yonggungsa Temple etc. Hotel is clean and comfortable and staff are helpful. Only ate twice at the hotel but the food was very good. When going back to Busan I would definitely consider staying here again. Only down side was the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, especially at night !!!?

On the second day after my arrival i had a shower and it was very cold. I tried to run the water for about 20mins and it did not get any warmer. I complained to the front desk and the next day it was far better. A few days later the water again was very cold. Over the course of my stay i complained 3 times about this. I felt it was totally unacceptable to have no hot water for washing. WIFI I complained constantly about the lack of wifi in my room. For the first 2 weeks of my stay it was fine. For the following 2 weeks, i had no wifi. I complained the first time to the front desk and i was told (in a very unfriendly manner) that it was a matter for the concierge). I was told by the concierge to try again and when i explained that i had been trying for 2 days he said he would look into it.... Nothing was done. I continued to "complain" and still nothing was done.

it's good, room was cleaned everyday very nicely. the person who does cleaning my room had good smile and very timly and propmt job to clean room (also very good in clean up it self). reception person is friedly for both checkin, and out, fitness facility person as well, facility itself too. Nice location and good conference facility as well, also need to thank that conference continued very late at night but person to clean room was waited for us. like to thank those who did those conference room clean up even meeting continued to very late. overall, I had very good stay, no stress. Coffee and water in room was good too. thank you.

« Hot room temperature, but satisfied becaused of staffs' swift action »

I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. first 2 days, I felt a little hot in the room. it was not very comfotable, but okay to stay. However, next day, I found the room temp. indicated 29 degree celcius. A staff in hotel explained that central air-conditioning system wasn't been working, she offered me to change a room. I accepted her offer.

« Hotel service and their current system is getting weak »

This trip, I have stayed Hilton (Seoul), Novotel (Busan), Pullman (Chang won), and Novotel (Kang Nam, Seoul). Based on my experiences, Novotel - Busan was best location on the beach, but their service and hotel system may be weak from best in class hotel. I satisfied with all other hotels including Novotel - Kangnam, Seoul, but Novotel-Busan.
