The room was lovely, though when I went to sleep there was no cover over eye glass on the door so I had to shove toilet paper over eye hole to try and stop light entering room. The room was noisy with plumbing and running water sounds all night. The landline rang twice at 2am. The shower was too hot or too cold and not consistent or pleasant.

« Great location hotel for a city break in Bristol »

we love the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and lots of nice toiletries in the privilege room. However we feel you have cut costs too deep with breakfast. quality of the bread, cheese, fruit etc is very poor and it is getting to the point where we are considering having breakfast at one of the cafes near the hotel instead.

1. Lovely welcome from receptionists 2. Clean lobby & lovey restaurant 3. Dirty bathroom; shower had yellow shower gel on the white tiles, bath had hair in it, toilet was stained, towels had black marks on it. Shower also had mouldy bottom of door and shower head holder was also mouldy. 4. Bed was uncomfortable, springs can be felt in back when lying on the bed. Based on this experience I would not recommend or return for the price I paid for the room.

Minor negatives were... shower pressure could be better.. it was adequate (stayed in executive room on top floor). Nespresso machine didn’t work but got free capuccino downstairs instead. Bacon at breakfast buffet was tough but the rest of the food was good.

Ok - that’s the best I can say this time. Check in went ok, but it wasn’t until I wanted to order some room service that I found out my card hadn’t been set up for credit so I had to go to the restaurant to pay for my food. There was no staff around at breakfast either.

Fantastic room, bar and restaurant. Exceptional staff. Nice area outside to sit and relax and watch the river. Within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. A stay in Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel is a must. We will be going back again this year.

Fantastic room, restaurant & bar, Staff are exceptional. Nice area outside to sit and relax and watch the river. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. A stay at Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel is a must. We will be going back again this year.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Before we arrived we wanted to extend our stay by one day. A few problems arose in obtaining a price for the extra day until all problems were sorted by Chris Coles at Reception. We were most impressed with his efficiency and very welcoming and helpful manner. He is to be commended.

« Nice hôtel but very over priced »

The hotel overall is nice, but is seriously over priced for the service you receive. Even though you can check in online, you still have to wait till later in the day to actually get into your room. Also, breakfast is an extra charge even though you have paid a lot for your room.

I had a terrible nights sleep. We were staying at the back of the hotel and throughtout the night people were loading bins and banging. It does not seem that providing an uninterrupted night sleep for your guests is important to your hotel.

First they check us in a disability room had to go downstairs to change it. The Room we had was dirty you can see the cobwebs on the ceiling. The heavy dust on the floor and carpets. Towels were very hard not soft. Bed was uncomfortable. Need to replace towels The room was very dusty you can see the heavy dust. Even on the ceiling there are cobwebs. The towels were hard not fluffy. Those towels need to go i wouldn't even dry my dog with that when he gets a bath. Need to upgrade bathroom. The sink every time you wash hands the water spill on counter. Even the mirrors in the bathroom was not clean and the other mirrors. I dont know if the stain is the glass was stain permanently but it was not clean. Travelodge is better than this hotel even cheaper and bed is comfortable place is clean and up to date. Very disappointed seen that i paid 190 for 2 nights.
