« Pathetic »

This was my 2nd visit to IBIS Pattaya. I visited Pattaya twice all the way from India and I chose IBIS for the 2nd time as well as I was very satisfied with your service the first time around. However, my experience this time was pathetic. Rude staff, no room service available (at least that's what we were told). Even when we asked for a bottle of water, we were asked to come down and get it. Same with Soda. Even a low level ultra budget hotel would be more than happy to send over water/soda to the room. It was embarrassing to me as I visited Pattaya with my wife's sister and husband this time and I insisted on getting IBIS Pattaya. Never again.

Had a great stay at ibis, eventhough rooms are bit smaller than expected, house keeping very good, travel desk at hotel, may be by another private operator was not customer friendly not interested in answering queries, and prices very high bf was good, however adding atleast one more Indian dishes instead of another pork or ham items would have been well appreciated, pool very neat and clean

Breakfast spread is very good. Location is a big big advantage as it is near malls, street markets, restaurants, tourists places and patong beach. Room service and staff are friendly and polite. Room size though a bit small is manageable. Bed size is good king-size.

« we had a pleasant & relaxing stay »

We had a wonderful experience from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. We were greeted with a smile, which is so welcoming as I walked in with my wife who is Thai. ( we always had a problem when we come to Pattaya and check into a hotel, even the last time we stayed at the Ibis the night staff had asked her for her ID which was upsetting as we checked together on the same morning but this time we had no problem at all ) Breakfast was not bad but when the food trays were empty the refills were taking a bit of a time. Our overall experience was great. Please thank all the staff on our behalf.

I was 3 time in Ibis hotel before this time.I like the Ibis hotel because located in the best place of Pattaya. Near to beach and so quite place.best access to beach and shopping center only by 10 bath.very clean room and so friendly staff.breakfast is good and I will come back to this hotel certainly.

My partner and I are frequent ibis customers, every time we go to Pattaya / Samui / Hua Hin, we would consider ibis as a standard + safe choice of stay. But recently I found ibis Pattaya to be one of the most chaotic and unpeaceful hotels ever, not because of the staffs but because of the majority of the guests staying at this hotel. There were loads of Middle-east and Chinese tour groups, I don't have anything against these people personally, but most of them were very impolite during Breakfast hours. Most of the guests were standing and eating right in front of the Buffet Line!!! They don't take foods and go sit down and eat at their table. I feel very concerned about the food cleanliness when I see somebody taking food off the tray but still eating the foods right above it. It doesn't seem hygienic to me at all. I feel very bad for the staffs as they probably feel very uncomfortable like I did, but they probably didn't have any power to do anything. This out-of-control guests manner created such an unwelcoming environment and poor image for ibis Pattaya. The staffs didn't seem very happy about those guests as well (I swear I saw no smiles on any staffs at all, and I don't blame them). I understand that the hotel might need lots of group to stay for business reason, but does it worth the ibis Brand Value to have lots of guests but at the same time are too out of control ? I am quite positive that ibis pattaya might no longer be on my list of stay anymore :(
