gym needs maintenance

I stay in Novotel Santos Dumont at least 20 days per year. I usually enjoy staying in this hotel, however I noticed that gym treadmills need maintenance. Two weeks ago, the center treadmill was not working, only two were working. This causes a queue during rush hours. Now, there were only one treadmill working (the right one). I am very worried because there are basically three main drivers for me in a hotel for business trips: bed comfort, quality of internet and quality of gym. If your gym is not being maintained properly, it will make me look for other options, something I didn´t wanted to do. Other comment: As a gold member, only once this year I got a welcome treat at my room (some candies and a letter with my name). But it never happened again. I understand that, since I am booking through my company´s travel agency, sometimes you do not have my membership status. But I would like to continue receiving those treats once I arrive and identify myself.

Hi there! My husband and I stayed one night and the Novotel in Rio de Janeiro, Centro (next to the US Embassy). We ordered 2 plates of grilled chicken with rice, beans and salad. 5 minutes later, we received a call saying the beans soured, so I asked them to replace one plate with vegetable and the other one with fries. I’m conclusion, the food came wrong and it was terrible. The chicken was dried (seemed to be fried earlier and they just warmed it up. It was cold inside) since we were starving we ended up sharing one plate and returning the other one. After eating part of the food I went to use the bathroom, once I lifted the toilet seat, it was all dirty. Disgusting! We would never go back. (I have pics in case needed). Thank you!

Everybody was nice, key didn’t work in the wrong so I had to go down twice. Bedroom was mostly clean but the bathroom was not. Hairs on the sink.

I used to dstay so many times at your place - this time will be the last one - arrogant staff at the check-in - room dirty - one day I had to ask to clean the room at 7pm as they forgot to clean it - very old room - air condition very bad, noisy - staff arrogant which is so bad with repeaters - worst hotel in Rio - need renovations - dirty corridors

Friendly reception staff. Breakfast was generally well stocked buffet but quite often the hot buffet was cold due to covers being left open. On one day I went down to breakfast at 0630 and the restaurant was not open although it was supposed to open at 0600. The min bar fridge was not restocked daily nor were tea and coffee in the room

My experience was great. the only reason I did not give the hotel a 10 is because the lack of air conditioning in the hallways leading to our room gave the hotel a musty smell and the air felt stagnant.

It is fine! I spent several hours in the Hotel and everything works fine. I couldn't not use some of the facilities due some body restrictions, maybe next time.
