My stay at the Ibis Petrolina was great. Location is in a somewhat quiet street, so you don't really get the feeling of noisy city, car horns or motorcycles passing by - is 5 minutes away by taxi/Uber from the waterfront (where most of the restaurants are) and also right next to a Shopping Mall and a Supermarket. If you go to Petrolina 90% of the time is because of work or a specific reason, so in and around the Ibis you have everything. Staff is nice and helpful BUT not a lot of them speak english, food is surprisingly good (not gourmet dishes but then again if you want that you go to a restaurant), breakfasts are ok (though a wider variety would be nicer) and Lounge area is cool and comfortable.

Rooms are old, cold, no blankets, extinguishers (I think) are due. Breakfast was ok. Check-in quick but... I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY INVOICE! SHAME ON ANYONE THERE! I already asked through booking app once more.

At Ibis, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer, therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrences. We have extra blankets 24/7 at our reception, I don't know if you were able to ask the attendants about it. All extinguishers and systems to prevent fire are due to local laws and we have certificates. Sorry for not sending your invoice, I've sent it again just in case. Those invoices are sent by the Petrolina's City Hall website, and sometimes it happens. But as you can see, on your invoice the emission date is the date that you checked out. Everyone must show personal documents when checking in, and for foreign people the Brazilian law request that the passport is needed to be shown.
