We arrived early and although we were promised over the phone that it would be taken into account having a 7-month old baby our room was ready just before 3PM. It´s hard to believe that there was no room available before. Myy wife went to the spa and was very happy with the massage session. Our room was big and spacious but extremely cold.

Good & kind check in (must be informed in advance ID policy & authorisation for kids under 18) Room was perfectly arranged for kids FOC. Bkfst & Buffet Dinner at La Butaca: very good, quality & variety was excellent. Remark, some food was not replaced on time (eggs or salmon among others). Not enough cutlery to serve some dishes, like only one ladle or fork for three sushi trays or cold cuts or dessert The above are the only few cons to remark. Overall we left happy and very satisfied with our experience

Loved the place and the big bedroom with great view but food was totally below the quality of the place. Breakfast was better than the rest of the food but the coffee was like a 3 star hotel

Overall, the experience was good: food was excellent at three restaurants (Le Lac, Italpast and breakfast at La Butaca) and staff is really nice and helpful. Having that said, I would expect a 5 star hotel to have a working heating system in the room (it was cold and couldn´t be fixed despite calling front desk). Also, the swimming pool area is quite small and lacks maintenance. The hotel is in need of a serious upgrading program. It is below other luxury hotels in Argentina and certainly below a Sofitel expected level.

It was a very nice family trip. Although the weather did not help at all. But, understanding that the hotel was working at 100% , room service for something as simple as coffee was rather slow. My stay would have way better if each room had a coffee machine. Thanks.

« Not as good as expected. For a hotel of these standards and rates I would have expected more. »

My experience was very poor. People are nice but luck of customer focus. Rooms were reasonable but with luck of maintenance. The overall experience was certainly not as expected, specially around food. This simply terrible... For a hotel of this category and the prices you manage I would have expected much more and higher standards. Including the customer experience. When I complaint at the front desk the employee was not able to articulate an appropriate answer and apologized himself. I would have expected an empowerment to allow him make a decision and apply some discount for the unacceptable experience. Next time we would not think of Sofitel as our first option to stay.

Check in went smooth, room was very comfortable though hot. A/C not working properly and despite calling maintenance, the room never was cool. The hotel is lovely, great place for relaxing, many activities available. The only thing I consider needs serious improvement is the amount of staff at pool bar and restaurant. Extremely slow service. We waited 1 Hour for our lunch which seemed 2 because our hungry kids kept claiming their meal! Then we went to the restaurant for tea time and after waiting 45 min for our order to come, we were missing a tea with milk. We had to claim it twice and it finally arrived 1,30 hour after we first sat down! It’s a pity for these gaps in staffing and customer service devalue the hotel.
