Service was friendly but the breakfast I paid for was distinctly overpriced and of a poor standard. Very fatty bacon and scrambled eggs were overcooked and inedible.

« Good Location for the convetion centre and city cenre and ropewalks »

I was attending the ACC and this was 10 minutes walk, also handy for the shopping centre, Liverpool central train station and the restaurants and bars in Ropewalks, made use of the small but well equipped gym - does get busy early evening so go at 06 30 before breakfast Slightly marred by No bottled water in the room People sleeping rough on the streets outside - but no trouble

« No hot water »

You had no hot water running for 24 hours. I was offered a discounted night for the Sunday only to find it was 10.00 less on what I could of got the same room on booking.com. I booked my colleague in also on the Monday and the rate was quoted well over £149.00 inclusive of breakfast only to find again that booking.com was overing £79.00 excluding breakfast! I had to notify this to the receptionist who did put it right. However, with the inconvenience caused I really don't think that a 10.00 reduction for no water for 24 hours was sufficient.

Had a really good stay in Novotel Liverpool Centre, room on 10th floor was anazing. Great view over Liverpool. Great bar experience : special thanks to the young polish girl (sorry didn’t catch the name) who is truly a great value to the hotel, professional, fun, smiley and friendly. Thank you!

« Enjoyed stay would definitely return »

Great location. Excellent check in with very helpful and welcoming male staff member. He also sorted a problem with my incorrect information on my email which I’d not been able to resolve by telephone. Very impressed. Clean room. could have done with top up ofbiscuits and coffee ( no biscuits second day) toiletries not enough for 2 x 2 days ( husband used own) but again top up needed. Breakfast as usual plentiful, hot and good quality. Found disabled room inconvenient for my disability as not a wheelchair user, toilet for me was too low. The shower over the bath was difficult to use and got the floor very wet,if I stay again I would request a shower cubicle . Would definitely like to return

« Catalogue of errors »

We weren’t told on arrival that there wasn’t any hot water available, and then when I raised it with reception they said it would be on imminently. It wasn’t on until part way through the next day and even then it was discoloured. Due to not being able to have a hot shower we didn’t use the swimming pool, or chance having breakfast in the hotel as I didn’t expect it could be sanitary without hot water. The key card machine wasn’t working so we had to be escorted to our room. And on check out we weren’t even asked how or stay was.

I arrived following a long drive from South Wales, the lady the checked me in was very pleasant and informative. Over the past couple of years you have spent a lot of money in refurbishing the front of house / F&B areas. Which seemed to have worked well. But the first and last place the customer see's is reception and I must say it is always a mess, bins full, untidy cables and wires, this area has been badly designed and leaves a bad impression.

« A Bad night in a Good hotel »

No hot water in either the evening or the morning. The GM was very prompt in refunding the room charge. So, although the hotel was not up to its usual standard they clearly did their best to remedy an unsatisfactory situation. I will be staying again this week.

« Good but room very hot and noisy in the early morning »

The hotel was fine, everything you expect of a Novotel with an excellent location. The only issue was that the room was very hot despite turning air conditioning onto maximum setting and the noise from the street below was very noisy in the early mornings.

Pleasant stay spoilt by extortiinate parking charges not associated with your hotel if course...could you not broker a deal with NCP for paying guest...17 pound for an overnight park is a bit much !

Straightforward booking, helpful staff, good location but 'upgraded' room was next to construction work, which started at 6.30am each day.
