Another enjoyable stay. Lovely welcome from Conner. Good location near all shops and restaurants would never stay anywhere else when visiting our grandaughter in university. Rooms at the front of the hotel better

Staying at the Novotel was a very enjoyable experience. Everyone was kind, friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. In all my stay with you was very relaxing and pleasurable and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was not cleaned until I enquired about it after 2 days. Apart from that, somfortable room, good breakfast, pleasant staff.

Fantastic room, friendly staff, good food, and enjoyable experience overall as always (I have stayed more than ten times here), but unfortunately despite doing online check-in, our room wasn't available till 16:00 pm and We had to wait couple of hours but it was worth it. Also the steam room was out of order for whole of Sunday and Monday.

We have stayed with Novotel Liverpool, Hannover Street twice. Both times there have been issues. The first time there was someones take-away meal left in the fridge. We just didn’t bother to do anything that time. This time we had a more disappointing problem. On returning from a night out we went to make cup of tea. When I rinsed the kettle out a large amount of gunge was left in the sink. The kettle had been used to boil up - I presume - a herbal drink. It was a disgusting mess of flowers and stalks. Just as well I didn’t just top it up without rinsing and use to make our drinks. The night staff man came after we had reported this. He was excellent, embarrassed and very apologetic. We asked that it be registered as a complaint. On checking out the following morning I enquired about the incident. The female receptionist was polite but quite unhelpful or that concerned. Eventually she asked if we had been offered any recompense. How could we have? The incident happened after midnight and after this incident we just went to bed. I doubt if the night porter would have power enough to offer us anything anyway. The receptionist eventually offered us vouchers for a drink at the bar, but didn’t state its limitations. We don’t drink beer or wine, so tea, coffee or soft drink was the choice. Very poor offering. Twice we have stayed and twice we have had issues. This last one was shocking. Equally, the lack of concern shown by the receptionist was shocking. I think you need to exercise more control on the room cleaners you employ, as well. We paid £139.30 for one night .......... for this ???

Stayed for my partner's birthday as we enjoy staying at this hotel for a little night away from the children! I noted on the booking notes that it was her birthday and was blown away with the effort from the staff. We had a free room upgrade, a birthday card and some little cakes in the room and a couple of drinks vouchers. We love this hotel and try to stay here any chance we can. The rooms are amazing and the staff are so friendly. Lots of facilities for all guests.

Nice hotel right in the center of the town clean and tidy helpful staff would recommend. Good Breakfast, Car park next door if you need it and get 30% off the parking charges when using the hotel.

Hotel was nice but air conditioning wasn’t much good. I did report it but was advised to turn to 16 which I did. Made no difference. Fridge was warm not cold. Milk went sour in a day.

Nice clean rooms , good showers & comfortable beds Down side is that room had been advertised as having air conditioning but i did not & it was rather hot in hotel which made it very uncomfortable to sleep , it took 6 to 7 phone calls to reception before they answered the phone and an hour or more after that to bring me up a portable fan for my room which made very little difference , The empty mini-bar / fridge in room was a very poor cooling fridge , i had put water in there to cool but fridge didn't even cool the water by the next morning even Had breakfast in morning , food was good apart from the bacon being rock hard even though i was there first thing at approx 7:05am for the breakfast

Please, if you could, let me know where we advertise air conditioning as I would like to get that amended. We have an air cooling system in order to reduce our carbon footprint. It's not as effective as air conditioning however. I'm sorry to hear that the phone was not answered when you were trying to call. The fridge isn't a fridge that can be used like a fridge within a home. It will only keep cold items cold rather tan chilling items. I will pass your comments to the Chef regarding the bacon, thank you for the feedback.
