I had a very late/early check in and there was some confusion, which left me a little uneasy, however, your staff/duty manager was able to ensure check in was available to me at that unusual hour. I did find that it was unusual not to be provided with shampoo/conditioner etc however, the overall experience was very good.

IBIS is overall a nice hotel. However I faced some issues during my stay like the key card had issues and I had to go to the reception after every 2 days to refresh the card. I soon realized that others were having the same problem and the whole card key system had issues.

« Bland and run down »

Room was very run down and smelt musty.. entire hotel needs a complete refurb! Kettle was broken and sticky taped together and phone wasnt working properly and when we would call reception they couldn't hear us. After tech was sent it still was very crackly. Only 2 hangers despite our stay was for 5 days so we had to live out of a suitcase !! Also its a decent walk from mall of Emirates as its located around the back of the shopping centre. I give 2 stars for the only positives... the staff at reception, (especially Ian) the tour desk and responsible for cleaning the room were lovely! The linen was clean and the lux shower soap was a nice touch..plus taxis were always readily available and good locations to local cheap eateries for breakfast and lunch /dinner. Unfortunately i wouldn't stay here again though as its more of a night stay hotel to just sleep and leave ! A dissappiinting standard for the Accor brand...not up to scratch.

Everything was great starting from the very friendly reception at the check in by the receptionist Reem and ending with the checkout after six days also done by Reem. The staying was so comfortable with the nice cleaning team and the facilities in addition to the food was very good. Its the first time I have an accommodation at Ibis hotel and for sure it will not be the last, especially after Reem helped me to download the Accor application.

In a great spot close to train, buses and the mall. There is also a convenience store next door for milk etc. Reema on the welcome desk was excellent and always friendly and helpful. Our room was adequate. A kettle was replaced 3 times to get one that worked and we had to ask for coffee every day.

Hostess (Ms. Reem) at the reception was smile team indeed :-) and very helpful, client-oriented. Rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Service as well. The "save the environment"-rule declared, but not applied, however, which is pity (towels don't need to be changed every day as it was done). And, unfortunately, windows in the rooms cannot be opened, no access of fresh air, only a/c, which is not full equivalent of window though.
