quite disappointing, reservation was made wrong, double booking made for no apprarent reason. front desk does not answer phone when called, had to come down from my room all the way to reception multiple times for simple things. internet access was mishandled in a funny way, apart from solving the issue in the system with the booking which led to not being able to access it, username of the agent was entered by him instead! welcome drink voucher was not given directly, was not asked if I had luggage and if I needed help with it, fortunately I was travelling light. I did not feel appreciated or welcomed at all. the 15 minute service has no meaning whatsover here because nobody picks up the phone. probably one of the worst Ibis hotels that i've stayed at. more attention needs to be given to guests. I understand its a festive season and the hotel was busy, but that doesn't justify dropping the ball on customer service.

Dear Sundeep, Hope you are doing well , Let me start by acknowledging you with your some of the great team members which you have like Angenita and Islam on the front desk .They are welcoming ,warm and very responsive. It is one of our regular hotel which we stay and they take extreme care of us. I would request you to please handle this matter very cautiously and deliberately which I am going to tell you in brief. 1. When we checked in we requested fir upper storey corner room ,somehow it was not available as I can understand due to the maintenance work however later on we changed it on the same floor where we stayed with corner one . 2. As we were long staying guest I was expecting that someone will definately inform us on the reception that due to maintenance work water supply wouldn't be there or else there wont be any hot water, I have to struggle every day before going for work for warm water . Somehow after a long I have to loose my patience and called on front desk and a person called zohaib recieved the call . His response was in such a way that he is doing a favour by sending a maintenance and in unprofessional way ,I called twice after that and no one recieved a call 3. I called housekeeping and the situation was immediately handled by housekeeping manager named Mohammad he was such a great hospitable person . 4. Our room card never worked in the lift ,everytime we have to go on the reception to update it 5. Somehow we decided to extend for a week thinking only that it is accessible hotel and reminding of our visit to ibis since 2015 . Otherwise it was not a good experience spevially when we stay from long and we know what accor stands for. 6. My suggestions . If you have maintenance donot let the guest or customer suffer for that . I mean even though it is 3 star a basic facility of the water even for the flush in the washroom shouldnot stop.Thats the basic facility . 7. Staffs on the reception should be more warm I even saw the way how few of them were talking to the colleagues from vertigo when they came for room posting . Eg. While receiving or after giving a room card there should be a word called Thank you which was never with Zohaib . Always a posture down with no eye contact. Anyways I think you will handle it very carefully . 8. While checking out when I asked a trolley I got a reply that there is no bell boy service ,which I completely understand but I didnot asked to carry my luggage only a trolley on front of my room which anyone would have easily done for long staying or long term guest . I do apologized for jotting down some hard words , I never wanted that the same experience should be faced by another customer , as I expect that you tackle our situation and I hope you will come out with a possible solution for us . Last but not least Thanks you and appreciated for the below team 1. Angenita and Islam from the front desk they are your jewels and gems . 2. The carpet in the room was dirty from the very beginning. The air conditioner was not working properly. I informed the receptionist about the air conditioner, the technical staff came and said that in 20-30 mins the room would be cool, but it didn’t happen during my two days stay at the hotel. After a night, I left the room in the morning and returned back in the evening, and the room was not cleaned at all. I called the housekeeping and they apologized saying that they would send someone to clean in half an hour. When I called several times to the reception, nobody picked up the phone, like ignored my phone calls....

Ibis Deiera City Centre is well located close to the airport and to the Deira Mall. We have stayed for two days on two occasions within 6 weeks. The last room we were in is in need of refurbishing. Staff were great.

Frontliners/rReception should be more professional in in handling issues/concern of guest. Mr. Sohaib was at the counter at that time. I had book online since I came all the way from Fujairah. I did booked my room since I have medical/renewal of Emirates ID early in the morning so I will not travel early and want to relax. I know the procedure that you need Emirates ID nor passport. However as the case maybe I have clearly explained that I do not have the copy since it is on our head office. I have copy of my Emirates ID from my phone and I told him I can show the email coming from our Head office as a proof. It took a while and suddenly a lady maybe his superior came. Told her the same scenario. However when she is attending and listening ,she is not even smiling or at least had worries or empathize. Which I believe you have cameras which you can double check around 9pm of Wednesday 29th may 2019. However , it was totally different and the experience I have had the next day with Abbie when she attended some questions I have and the way she smiled and attentive. Thanks since my bad experience was replace by a good customer service.

It was amazing. The front desk officers were extremely courteous and helpful. My son was surprised with a cake on his 1st birthday while we were staying in the hotel. We really enjoyed our much needed vacation. Thanks to Ibis!!!
