we came as a large group from company and we having an event there. the check in process is very quick and efficient so no hustle there. The room i stayed is a corner room so it is spacious. the food both on breakfast and at the event is average. function room a bit small but it can accommodate 80+ people. the huge plus is that the location of the hotel a walking distance to city center where you can have a local street foods and malls.

I found the bathroom was not cleaned properly.

I found dirty things inside the toliet pot - unflushed. I took the picture of it. I can share it if it's necessary. The staff was nice and friendly. The check in and check out process was quick and efficient. The bar and restaurant was run smoothly.

not clean, there was a tiny cockroach at night and the faucet in the washbasin is in rust. I don't know in another room will experience the same as I had.

This is the worst experience staying in Accor chain hotel. I've been staying Accor chain all over the world and this particular chain is the worst. I purposely moved to this hotel (Ibis Simpang Lima), because for two night I was staying in an old, almost ruined hotel - just because the seminar I attended was held in that hotel and the seminar package is included lodging. My experience staying in Ibis Simpang Lima are as follows: 1. I didn't get towel in the room until 8 p.m. I called them at 6.30 p.m. and the front staff said that the towels are on their way from laundry service. Then I called again at 7.45 p.m. and finally I got towels at 8 p.m. WTF! 2. When I was going to have breakfast, the restaurant staff said that my booking does not include breakfast. I told the staff, please check with the front office because I did my booking via booking.com and it includes breakfast. The staff checked with the front staff, and they said that it doesn't! I had to go back again to my room and took my phone (15 minutes was uselessly spent to do this thing) and showed my booking from booking.com that the room booking is included breakfast. Then, the staff allowed my to have breakfast. By time I sat, I had no appetite at all because of this embarrassing experience, and just left the restaurant after had a glass of water. 3. When I checked in, the front staff gave me a wifi access (username and password). After reaching my room I tried to connect but it could not connect. I went down to the reception and asked what happen with the wifi, and she said that the wifi connection doesn't work almost all day if I use that access (username and password). She show me to use the bottom access with completely different password. Then I could get the connection. WHY didn't she does this at the first time, and make it difficult for the guess? WTF!!! My conclusion is the staffs and the management are not ready to welcome guess. The staffs (especially a the reception/front desk) were seem under-training. I don't need they to nod and smile all the time. I want that they do their job properly! I will write the same review in booking.com to let people know how bad is the service in this hotel, so they won't have the same experience.

I arrived in the hotel around 20.00. It took me 30 - 40 minutes just to check in. There is only one person to handle. Moreover, as a member of Accor, we usually got the privilege of having welcome drink card, I did not get any. It just different from other Accor hotels I stayed, the service was kinda poor for me.
