Staff are on the ball and very helpful. Small pool but adequate - gets sun all day, breezy and no mosquitoes - that is a big plus in Bangkok where hotel pools often have shade half the day. Breakfast good and varied, and staff doing their utmost to assist. The spacious suites need maintenance - wood fittings rather bashed, our front door had a hole in it near lock???!!! maybe someone had to be rescued and they jimmied it open?? Beds good but weird pillows. Free minibar - great! Corner rooms very hot if facing sunset so set the A/C low. Gym is large and well equipped.Good value hotel.

Overall experience was good and service staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location too and close to the major shopping malls. However, the quality of food at the French restaurant was not up to standard and over-priced, and the breakfast buffet options were limited and similar throughout the four days I had breakfast at the hotel. The hotel room also lack amenities - it doesn't even have a disposable nail file!

As for our Michelin recommended French restaurant La Vie, the 3 courses lunch is only THB590 for one person. I am very sorry to hear that we left you overprice imagine, and I would love to hear your kind feedback on this, I am sure that could help us to prove ourselves more. As one of the luxury hotels from Accor, we constantly follow our environmental commitment programme Planet 21, thus this is the reason why there is no nail files in our guests rooms. However we do provide this service in our housekeeping if you kindly let any of us know, we will send it to your room immediately. We were only there one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bangkok. The bell man walked out bags to the next hotel. We came back just to try the French restaurant in the hotel and it was amazing.

We stayed at your hotel on Feb1 -Feb 2, 2019. I really like the Hotel and I planned to stay here later this year when I visit Bangkok again, but there was a trully frustrating and unplesant experience at the very end of my stay. I asked your butler supervisor (Thanawat Boonyalertroj/Tong) to call a metered taxi for me. When I sat in the taxi and we started moving, driver turned off the meter and extorted money to get us to airport, he went to the opposite direction of airport, we track gps. The deal was even more frustrating because we were in a hurry and had our bags in the trunk. We cannot just stop taxi and call to another. It resulted in considerable delay in our arrival to airport and we were about to miss our flight because of him. I was really frustrated because I relied on your reputation, I hoped that your personnel will choose adequate taxi for me, that they make sure he will drive according to the law, and will not bring me law violator. I had to pay what he wanted to get to the airport and in the same time I almost miss my flight. The plate number of that taxi XA-665. We sat in the taxi at 16.55. I know that you are not the a taxi company, but for the sake of good reputation, you should make sure that taxi will be metered, because I have in my mind that The VIE Hotel called me such taxi and in my mind, you share responsibility with that driver. I hope you will take actions and that driver will be punished.

The overall hotel is great. Only suggestion is the room lights need to be much brighter. It is way too dark/dimmed even after turning all the lights on. Also the free shuttle service should be every 30 mins instead of 1 hours.

However, we provide our mini van service for free whenever our guests are in needed to go to Siam shopping area. Check-in was smooth and staff were very accommodating to our requests. Our room was already prepared upon check-in, and when we made a request for a smoking room, the staff had another upgraded room prepared for us on the smoking floor. We were pleasantly surprised to have Halal food served during the breakfast buffet. We also had a 5-course dinner at La VIE to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the staff explained thoroughly the ingredients used in each dish and advised which would not be non-Halal for our consumption. I love how they were very sensitive and attentive to our requirements as Muslim guests. The chef also offered to substitute some dishes to fit our diet requirement. Upon check-out, we had a few hours before our airport transfer pick up and went out to do some last-minute shopping. When we came back to the hotel, they offered us to use the gym facilities to freshen up before embarking on our journey home. Overall, it was an amazing experience for us. Unfortunately, we did not manage to enjoy the pool and will definitely be back next time! Thank you for the amazing hospitality and making it an unforgettable experience for us.

The room is big enough for a chillax holiday. Equipments, snacks and beverages are adequate. Cleansing service is good. The hotel building seems a little bit small. The local phone calling is chargeable which I did not realize and it is better to be free for local phone calling. The swimming pool is a little bit small.

Staff acted as if they were frightened of the General Manager of hotel, as staff refused customer service. Beds uncomfortable. Staff treated my wife's arrival poorly. You mightas not offer a room bar fridge, it had bugger all variety. Wont stay again.

« A perfect stay in the best part of the city »

Me and my companion spent a lovely two nights at this beautiful and unique hotel. The location is unbeatable, as there is a BTS station right next to it, that connects you quickly to the Airport Rail Link, as well as all the important malls in Siam Square are within a reasonable reach, even on foot. Right after our arrival, we were personally greeted by Mr JR, who is certainly one of the most professional butlers I have ever met. We were upgraded to a higher category room due to my AccorHotels status, which I really appreciated. The credit card pre-authorisation process is somewhat complicated and inconvenient (at least for me), if you choose to pay at the hotel, keep in mind that the whole amount will be charged at the beginning of the stay, only to be released later (after the actual payment). The room was stylish and comfortable, with the windows overlooking the street. The bathroom was just as well fitted. The breakfast is stunning, with gorgeous views from the eleventh floor and a huge selection of hot & cold meals and juices. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and businesspeople alike, because of the variety of leisure options as well as the central location, and the incredibly professional and courteous staff.
