A could of glitches TV seemed stick on film channel and on two days the key card wouldn’t work. On all three occasions staff were very quick to help - very pleasant and helpful.

Overall I loved to visit this hotel all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are Very clean and good facilities. The one thing I don't like about the hotel is the parking. Parking should be free so I can park my car with no problem.

« I got downgraded !? »

I had chosen a 'TRIPLE ROOM WITH A DOUBLE BED AND A SINGLE BUNK BED' instead I got a 'DOUBLE ROOM WITH ONE BED ' sorry about the caps lock Iol, So my plan with my friends was ruined and then I couldn't connect my PlayStation to the Wi-Fi... maybe I should have asked somebody about this but I'd assumed no one would know because it's a PlayStation... And because of the room change the tv was much smaller and I really wanted a nice tv as shown in the 'TRIPLE ROOM' .. Overall the room was nice and comfortable, had plenty of lights , I just wish i had a better time lol

« Poor service from the staff and really low standard rooms and facilities »

On arrival we couldn't get a space in the car park- with the staff refusing to put on the 'full' sign 5 cars were wedged in to the car park with no way of getting back out. On arrival the staff member just told us that she had no clean rooms so we couldn't check in. She was in no way personable, she was blank and unfriendly, without offering a solution. When we came back to check in the service was slow and we were disappointed to find that for £69 we couldn't even get a free cup of coffee to take to our rooms. The room was so basic it was disappointing, it felt like asking into an overpriced youth hostel. The towels were scratchy and the pillows were old. There was a huge dip in the bed and the fan didn't work- making the room unbearably hot. The same woman checked us out as the one that greeted us on arrival. She didn't speak to us, she didn't smile, she looked miserable and it was a really off-putting experience. Nice shower in the morning though! Overall won't be staying again.

« The environment and room rates are very good while catering has improved but cleanliness is depreciating. »

Checking in and out was quite satisfactory. Having pre-charged my card for a day, the attendant need not charge me a second time thus resulting in double payment. I had reported to my bank. My bedsheet was not changed for the 3 nights stayed and I had to visit reception to get a towel on the first night. Overall stay is give average satisfaction due to nice breakfast.

Could not sleep with burning smell in toilet and room. Breakfast poor , Could not fruit ( grapefruit ) because of blood pressure tablets, no selection.

receptionists were so rude also i stayed at lots of hotels but this was ibis budget which is a big company IBIS... through to that there was not any shower gel or shampoo in bath and room was nit clean!

« Just about within expectations for the price payed »

Hotel is conveniently positioned, rooms are clean and breakfast is decent, even though there isn't much choice, and the price is OK. The staff is *VERY* friendly, helpful *AND* swift. They are by far *THE* best of this hotel. Now, the criticism: The keycards you use are piece of sh*t. Basically, they get erased after about two or three hours, regardless of how much one takes care about them (and this is rediculous - a keycard that can't be kept in a wallet and is sensitive to cell phones - cannot be a keycard in this age). Your whole keycard system is obsolete, and it wasn't a good system even when it was new. *DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT*! The air in the hallways is stale and stifling. Don't you ever ventilate the hallways? The breakfast room is way too small for the number of guests that use them. The buffet as well. The staff simply can't get around to keep it well replenished because there are too many people. Who is the genius that designed this space? Make them work there replenishing the buffet in the morning. The system of automatic door from the street (that we're supposed to open using a hotel keycard) is OK once one checks in. We arrived late (around midnight) on our first night, the door was closed, we didn't have a card to open it, there was no doorphone to call the staff, and they were not right there to see us when we came. Not very pleasant. :-/

My brief stay at the ibis hotel was excellent from check-in to check-out, staff was very professional and friendly, room was small but it was very well maintained and clean, easy to find hotel from the train station, I would definitely stay at the ibis in the future, thanks to all your great helpful staff..from a very happy satisfy guest.
