« Good quality hotel well positioned for Hyde Park »

Nice friendly hotel in pleasant surroundings next to the canal with several good bars and restaurants nearby including the newly opened Pergola complex. Helpful staff, well equipped bedrooms and bathrooms. Genuinely dog friendly. There was no effective air conditioning which made for an uncomfortably hot night in this heatwave.

Just would like to clarify that every room is installed with a ventilation system, which differently from an aircon system will only circulate the air inside the room. During this exceptional heat wave we have been offering a portable tower fan and complimentary cold drinks delivered to the rooms as to minimise the inconvenience caused. Nice hotel - but cleaning staff just let themselves into our room at 8am - came in as they knocked! We were up and decent but should have been much worse. This was on a Sunday morning so pretty poor showing up with no warning an so early

« Pleasant hotel, pillows very uncomfortable »

Room had everything i needed, was clean, tidy and quiet, with a decent breakfast. I have two complaints is that the pillows were very uncomfortable, they were all split. It also took 15mins to checkin, the queue was very slow moving. Also, will be nice to have more herbal teas in the room.

Love the location just next to Paddington station and Little Venice . The surroundings are modern and safe and plenty of cafes , restaurants and a Sainsbury’s. Staff are friendly and helpful and WiFi works well. The room is a good size for London . The aircon could be colder which would have been welcome in the sweltering summer in London. Gym looks very decent and the breakfast buffet is excellent

« Hotel room was rather warm and st times, uncomfortable. »

This is my third stay at Novotel Paddington. The first time I stayed here in May, the room temperature was rather warm. Some staff came to fix it but it stayed that way until the time I left. I thought it was just an issue of that particular room. This time around, I was told that you do not have an air conditioner but only an air cooler. In fairness to your staff, they did their best to secure an electric fan for me. That was not enough, however. The room was so uncomfortable in the afternoon! I’d really like to go back to this hotel because the amaneties and the staff are great but the absence of the airconditioner just makes the stay miserable. I hope you address this soon! I am guessing and hoping that autum to spring would be more pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay. The kids thought the computers in the lobby were very entertaining. They were occupied while we had a drink at the bar. The room was set up for the kids before we got there which made things easy. The room fit us just fine. The standing shower and bathtub made bathing the whole family easy. The Pool area was a good edition for us. The one area that could use some maintenance is the steam room. It’s a bit run down and doesn’t seem hot enough but otherwise we enjoyed the pool as a family fun activity. The breakfast was way beyond our expectations. It was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Strong coffee, an array of delicious hot and cold options. Everything was replenished frequently and fresh! It was a great way to end our stay in London. The proximity to the Paddington station to take the heathrow express to the airport was very convenient. We were pleased with all aspects of our stay. Thank you!

The controls for the shower head with the bath were broken - a piece of plastic had come adrift and had not been repaired. Good experience, because everything functioned, helpful staff, a English breakfast I appreciated and for me the location was perfect due to my business. The only thing to mention related to improvement, is that from my room I didn't get update on email and apps on my mobile.
