« Pleasant stay in convenient location »

Friendly service at reception and breakfast. Clean, comfortable and convenient location for my business trip. I did not have time to enjoy the facilities. Things that could be improved: 1) add a sink in the toilet. People touching the door's handle and light switch without washing their hands is unhygienic. The toilet seemed clean but I have to wonder how the cleaning is done without access to water. 2) I left the 'do not disturb sign' on the door but the room was serviced anyway and the internal window was left open. It's not a big deal bu I would expect the sign to mean that the room does not need service so it should be made clear that staff will enter the room regardless of the sign.

Check in and Check out are very efficient. Rooms are comfortable, but A/C wasn't working and it was too hot. Difficult sleeping. Breakfast OK.

After calling the hotel directly to delay my arrival by one day, I was surprised to learn upon arrival that my reservation had been cancelled due to a "no show" the night before. I advised that I had called the hotel directly to change my reservation, at which point I was challenged to provide proof that I had changed my arrival date. I showed the desk clerk a record of my call to the hotel from my cell phone, so she asked the name of the individual I had spoken with. I told her that I had spoken with a female, but I had no idea what her name was. As a customer, let alone and Accor Platinum member, I was shocked by this "interrogation," and I was ready to leave and find other accommodations, when my phone rang and I had to take another call. While I was on the phone, the desk clerk somehow found a room for me and handed me a room key to 512. The following morning, I went down to breakfast, and the first plate I selected from the "clean plate" stack at the buffet had residual egg yolk stuck to the plate. I then pulled a second plate, which had tomato sauce residual stuck to it. I notified the buffet attendant of the issue, and she took the 2 dirty plates with her and advised that I should select a "clean one." I asked her to bring me a "clean one" since I questioned the entire remaining stack at that point, and suggested she remove the remainder and have them rewashed, but neither happened. I therefore refused to eat at the buffet and returned to my room. When I returned to my room to, I was greeted by the sound of power tools being used in close proximity to my room. I called the front desk to see what all the noise was and find out how long it would be going on. The desk clerk apologized, but advised that carpet replacement was being done on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors, and would continue until 4PM. I advised that I had work to complete, so I requested to be moved to another room. The clerk advised that I could move to room 808 and met me there with the key. I asked the clerk to have the manager call me so I could share my experience, and shortly thereafter, the "duty manager" called me back. I shared all of the above, and while she apologized for my experience, she seemed to make excuses for the above rather than accept responsibility. She explained that when I changed my arrival date, I should have been given a cancelation number and a new reservation number, which I should have presented upon check in. I advised that didn't happen, and reminded her that hotel procedures are not requirements of their customers, but rather hotel employees. I suggested she retrain her staff to make sure they follow hotel procedures, and not hold hotel guests accountable to assure this happens. She had no explanation for the dirty plates, but apologized and assured me that she would address the issue. In fairness, I did return to the buffet on the last day of my stay and didn't not find any dirty plates. As to the carpet replacement, I repeated what the desk clerk had told me (2nd, 3rd, and 5th floor replacement) to which she replied that I was wrong as no work was being done on the 5th floor. I told her I was simply repeating what I was told, and quite frankly didn't care where the noise was coming from, but simply asked to be moved, which I was. I asked why I was given room 512 to begin with since the carpet replacement had been scheduled, but I didn't get an answer. Again, as an Accor Platinum member,I was surprised that an alternate room away from any planned work was not selected at check in. The duty manager again apologized for my experience, and proceeded to offer me a free drink coupon at the bar for the inconvenience. I politely declined, reminding her that I was not seeking compensation for my experience, but was simply sharing it to improve things in the future. MyCompany has an office nearby, so there will be many future occasions where I will require local accommodations, although based on this experience, I'll need to be convinced things will be different before I stay at this hotel again.

Good with the pool, big room and good breakfast. The menu in the restaurant boring and dull. The taxi company you use did not take credit card which made us feel quite unsafe outside an ITM in the middle of the night.

« We appreciated being upgraded to a suite after our 7th visit and Le club recognition »

We had a pleasant stay. Appreciated the upgrade to a suite for our continued stays (7 at least) with the hotel and Le club status. The staff were all friendly but the only comment was the pool was quite cold in temperature and buffet breakfast seemed to take a while to be replenished. Could I also suggest a separate hot water option for tea drinkers as having to use the hot water from the coffee machines you get coffee flavouring the water. I also miss having the sparkling or still water option at the breakfast as didn’t fancy the flavoured water. The toasters also took ages to toast the bread. We will be back again and continue to recommend your hotel.

« Great location, friendly staff, cleanliness a little lacking »

Check in was very efficient. Room was adequate. It was a special occasion and would of been nice for a small acknowledgement of that. Room was not cleaned properly after 1st nights stay. Dirty cup no milk and a bottle top remained on floor from day before. Towels very rough and shabby. Bed was very hard but that is our personal comment. Breakfast was great but the whole restaurant area was in need of a proper clean. Location however was perfect.

« relief , having booked on line at another place, that turned out to be nothing like its website,getting a bed at the novetel was great. »

From entering we where greeted by a lovely French receptionist, who booked us in with ease, Given a well set out clean room. A glass of wine in the bar, as it was nz wine, where I am from was definitely London price , , a good breakfast the next day. A very handy place to stay, and a good experience.

« Absolutely excellent! »

I spent Friday night at the hotel with my 2 kids. Whilst checking into the property I casually mentioned to Francesco at the reception that we were celebrating my birthday which was a few days before. To my pleasant surprise a lovely card, cake was delivered to my room and I was offered complimentary drink. I was totally blown away, and this made our stay very special indeed. Thank you so much!
