« First visit to Novotel »

Everything within the hotel was great. The service was exceptional. The room was clean. People were very hospitable. The first excursion I had on 3/3, I had an great driver. He was very helpful, informative, courteous and responsive. The second excursion I had on 3/9 (license # 9349), was not so great. The driver didn't speak/understand a lot (in English) and communication was difficult. He asked me for money to pay for tolls and for him to buy food while waiting for me. No other drivers (to and from the airport nor the first excursion) asked me for extra money. In addition, I had asked the driver to take me back to the hotel. But, instead, he drove me to emporiums. This got me upset. I asked the shopkeepers to please explain to him that I wanted to go back to the hotel. I would expect a driver to be able to understand this much from me.

This trip was similar to my other trips to the Novotel: Everything about the room was excellent, room cleaning and laundry service was top notch, and the food was fantastic (many options, very well prepared). However, also consistent with previous experience at Novotel, the internet access was atrocious, barely usable in the room and not much better downstairs. Despite paying for a premium room (faster Wifi advertised), the room Wifi was very slow, disconnected frequently, and was generally of poor quality. This has been my experience in the past across multiple devices, as well as the experience of all of my colleagues who have stayed at Novotel, so I know it's not a problem with any of my devices. Also, I noticed somewhat worse service from some of the newer waitstaff in the restaurant than on previous visits. Usually Novotel waitstaff service is excellent, so this was noticeable. It was only some of the newer employees; the veterans provided the same high level of service I've become accustomed to at Novotel. However, this is really a nitpick and pales in comparison to my issues with the internet. Broadly, the food and service is excellent and commendable. For a business hotel catering to visitors to Bangalore's many techparks, internet service this bad is a huge detractor. We all need to connect to VPNs/email/messenger and stay in contact, and the internet service at Novotel is a constant barrier and problem. If I could change any one thing about my experience at the hotel, it would be the internet service. Please, please fix it.

All services and staff were excellent however the phone in the room was not very user friendly and the internet access seemed to drop out regularly.

I often stay with l’accor hotels when staying in India. You are well looked after there. Special thanks to the lady that works in Blue Terrain (and has done for a few of my stays now). She does a great job making sure everyone is looked after! Also Sandy was very helpful this time around too!

Hotel is clean and staff is polite but overall experience is slightly below expectation....Were placed in level 1, very much 'opened' to many guest's access in and out the floor... Room amenities is somewhat with lots of missing stuff brought in-conveniences - eg. no cotton bud, conditioner, bed room slipper, shower cap, sanitary bag (didn't get replaced)... in-consistency of support treatment - we came in a group, some group were given towel decoration, some room the bed was decorated but some totally got nothing...??

It was good. But not upto the expectation. Likes: I am a vegan. So appreciate the Five Elements products in the room. Staff was obedient. Dislikes: Had many issue with the wifi even after brought this to your concern. There was no full mirror in the room. TV doesn't play all channels. Very less options at the food for a vegan. I expect the staff/checfs at a five star should be aware of veganism and be ready to attend a vegan. But it did not happen. I had to specify every minute thing of why I do not use diary was least expect from Novotel.

Dear Sir, We would like to point out that the Room was very small & the Washroom was leaking & not upto the mark. The dinner Buffet was cold & not upto the taste standards. The experience was good. Some feedback: - Please have a world clock in the room showing times in multiple time zones. - Please have some drawers in the tables in the rooms. There are no closed storages near the bed. - The swimming pool is more than 5 feet in depth. So, children cannot swim. So, would be good to have a gradient accomodating both adults and kids

Check in was easy. the gym was sufficient. my room was always clean. breakfast and dinner were delicious. not all shower caps etc were restocked every day. the shampoo and shower gel was difficult to use (the hole in the bottles were too small for the liquid)

this was a first class experience to stay at Novotel Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. This hotel is like an oasis on the desert :) First, the staff is extremely polite, kind and helpful in every situation. Even though I was only a business visitor, I received many special offers for the amenities available in the hotel. There was absolutely no waiting time for staff availability. The rooms are quiet (the hotel is set back a bit from outer ring road, so less noise), CLEAN (your duvet linings are changed EVERY day), new towels every day (for those left on the floor), overall very clean and nice. Moreover, I arrived 3 hrs before the official checkin time and early checkin was offered to me on a complimentary basis with no additional fees. This was very kind (as compared to other hotel in BLR in this area, who charges additional daily fee for early checkin). Since I did not want to use any discounts for additional amenities of the hotel (like SPA), at the end of the stay I received some complimentary sweets delivered to the room with a thank-you note from the staff. This was very kind and nice. Great thanks for this very nice travel experience! and wishing all the best to the hotel and the staff. I will definitely recommend this hotel and choose for the next time!

I have reached hotel around 10:30 pm. I have checkedin the room 1525. I was hungry, so thought quickly order some food in home. I have strugged around 15-20 min just to reach kitchen/restrurent for room service. There no information how to reach or dial number to reach kitchen. After spending lots of time i hvae found one service person outside the room. Then he also tried 5-10 min. But he has failed to connect kitchen, and he left by saying that within 5-10 he will send some one in this room take order. But i was waiting 5-10min more, but no response. After that randomly i have started dialing some number, and finally reached to reception, then via that reached to restrurent after struggling more than 30 min. My suggestion is either rapair the internal phone or give proper guidence with all the important number.

Exceptional customer service especially in dining area. It was a business trip for my husband, but our toddler and I joined as we made part of the trip a vacation. Everyone wa so helpful, and they even remembered my son's name even though we were there only 2 days.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in February on a business trip. I found the hotel to be clean and tidy. I stayed on the 6th floor in one of the premier (I think) rooms. The room was very comfortable and was nice and quiet. I would have liked to have some drawer space in the room rather than just hanging space and shelves. On one of the nights there was a nasty smell coming out of the air conditioning vent but this did not last too long and to be fair to the hotel I did not bother to raise any concerns about it. The food in the restaurants was of a reasonable standard however the service was incredibly slow with orders either being forgotten or delivered at different times to the rest of the group. The rest of the common areas in the hotel were nice however service seemed slow everywhere. All in all I was content with my stay, it is very likely that I would stay here again.
