Right next to the Railway station, so perfect if coming by train. 500m from the beach. ik from the Marathon village so not to far to hobble back after the race. The rooms are modern and have everything you need except a fridge perhaps. Good breakfast before the run

Had a great few days stay in Brighton hotel was right in the heart of city next to train station which was handy clean friendly staff small bfst but nice selection allthough not very hot , would recommend an definetly worth a visit, Brighton pier a stone's throw away lots 2 do and loads of eateries on the lovely walk up to sea front.

The hotel was fine. Staff were fine and efficient, room was clean, breakfast was fine. Pillows weren't great, but then I'm not paying for luxury. Couple of negatives. Firstly, because checking in and things happens on mobile phones, it sort of looks like the staff aren't really listening to you when you're at the front desk. But, the biggest issue is the plastic cups. Single use plastic cups, wrapped in single use plastic, changed every day. I understand the company is phasing out single use plastic straws. Is there a similar plan for the cups? So much waste! Even if it's company policy, can the Brighton hotel not stand up and make an exception? It's a city with a Green Party MP! So, my stay was overall fine, but institutionally, I think there are a few things to improve on.

Room was well laid out with lots of space and very clean . Staff were very helpful . We had a few problems with our late checkout as it wasn’t shown in our booking so we had to query it but staff dealt with it well and sorted it out for us . Would have liked to see more towels in the bathroom but overall experience was good.

Staff on our penultimate night were not able to locate our pre-authorisation, and were unwilling to allow us to set up a tab on the room. On the next morning, however, Junior (whom we have known for many years) solved the matter in highly professional way, confirming we did have pre-authorisation. Junior was managerial.

Not up to usual standard, we got put in the lower floor room 211 but because it was only for 2 nights i did not not to be changed, i asked for a twin & when we got to the room it was a double which was soon sorted out thanks to the guy on reception & cleaning lady she was great could not do enough, just just one more thing the bed was broken

I was originally booked for a week, but due to business needs, I ended up extending several times and ultimately stayed for 3 months. During that time, the staff got to know me and provided me with exceptional customer service every step of the way. This included accommodating my room requests, date changes/extensions, and other minor but important customer service support. I would like to specifically thank those who provided the most service, including Viki, Ionel, Jessica, a blonde woman with a northern accent (unfortunately forgot her name) and the others. The business can do what it does, but ultimately it's the people and their interactions with customers that make all the difference. Kudos to the wonderful team at Ibis Brighton Station.

A perfect stay! We arrived just after 12pm and was expecting just to leave our bags there, and check in later, but we were pleasantly surprised to hear that as we were ‘silver members’ our room was ready at no extra cost. We were therefore able to unpack before we went out for the afternoon. On returning to our room, we found a card from the manager and team, welcoming us, plus three delicious truffle chocolates...the only decision was which one of us had 2! The whole hotel felt very secure and had a cery welcoming feel, lots of cakes/pastries/chocolate/health bars to purchase which were nicely displayed by the reception desk. We didn’t have drinks, food or breakfast, but it looked like a nice area. The rooms were perfectly clean and the staff were all very friendly. The only fault would be that the TV reception was terrible! Hardly worked, but I think I had a similar experience in another Brighton hotel in the past, so it may just be the area . Would definately recommend this hotel. Great location near to the train station, room was quiet.

Check in and check out were pretty simple, I liked that. Breakfest buffet offered not so much variety of choices. Cereals were only with sugar, and almost exclusively cornflakes. There weren't enough jogurt for it either. There wasn't enough choice of bread either. Coffee machine wasn't working, or the coffee tasted more like black watter than coffee. I had to really search for the clean plates or clean cups. Most of them still had traces of food on them, eventhough they were put in the "clean" pile for the breakfest buffet. Overall, really bad breakfest experience. The towels in the room were old and some of them even had stains on them. On my first night of stay I was abruptly woken up during the night because of the fire alarms. Which was pretty annoying, but even more strange was that nobody from the stuff explained afterwards what happened, nor, were we notified if we should really leave the hotel.

The hotel was ok. We have stayed here many times as our daughter lives in Brighton. We asked for a quiet room as we wanted to have a lie in. Unfortunately we were woken very early with 2 men (maybe maintenance men) being very loud and banging around.

No phone, no fridge and the smallest shower and bathroom known to man. The TV is small and most of the channels say no signal and have to change the settings to wide screen when you do find a channel.

From the train station, this hotel was less than a minute’s walk, perfect to drop the cases and explore. Super friendly staff, clean accommodation and lovely shower. Comfortable bed and decent linen. Air con / heating a little noisy when it spontaneously kicked in during the night, but that was minor. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Also recommend Hope and Ruin pub for dinner and live music. And Joe’s Cafe for breakfast (a little tricky to find and a bit of a walk but well worth it).

Very warm welcome at reception. Staff definately add to the experience. Room was perfect for a night's stay, clean and comfortable. Only reason for 8 and not 10 was that the cooked breakfast was dissapointing, sausages, bacon and scrambled egg were dried out.
