« Excellent Brighton hotel »

We started at Ibis Brighton City Centre over duration of a conference. Location is perfect; close to train station & the best side street area for food and browsing in Brighton. Having walked down to the beach and along the waterfront our choice of location was confirmed. Beach side is much overrated in Brighton. Ibis staff were welcoming, attentive & efficient. The breakfast options were excellent, including the usual run of hot & cold English breakfast food as well as excellent muesli etc. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brighton who wants value for money in a great location.

« Rude staff »

Just useless and rude staff who seemed less interested in doing their job and more interested in socialising. I paid £15 for early check in, and told the person running check in this, to be told the hotel was fully booked the night before and come back at 2pm (not even a normal check in time) I repeated myself and explained I’m not happy I paid to check in from 9 am, the man then corrected me and said 10am was early check in (you might want to tell this to your website, emails, etc because everything I read or got was 9am) the man then just continued to check us in anyways, so it went from not being about to check us in due to a full hotel, to wary check in being at 10am to him the magically finding a room and being able to check us in at 9.10am. If your going to lie to a customer at least me consistent with it.

Great location and view! Staff were very friendly and helpful and nice gesture of sweets and card in our room for our anniversary. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Not sure about the new meet and greet style check in, as a little unclear who was doing what, though hotel itself makes up for it very pleasant helpfull staff ,room clean and comfortable, pleasant bar area,3rd time at this hotel, great location for station, would definitely stay here again.

« Nice Stay »

Arrived Monday 9/10/2017 for a couple of nights on business trip. Lovely staff on reception. Nice comfy rooms and breakfast. Me and my colleague did leave the tags on doors for a £5 voucher if cleaners did'nt clean room but it never turned up. Overall great stay good location to town / beach etc...

All the people that were working in this hotel were very helpful, they saved our life so to speak . We found us without a hotel the morning we came to Brighton . My son, in front of a computer in Iceland found this hotel and we came there in the afternoon . they did everything for us to make us comfortable and they were not like workers in a lobby, they were like family. And they were like that for all four days. I hope they are well paid, they deserve that most surtenly .

« Good trip to brighton »

It was ok.the room as always is fine, as was the staff and hotel itself. The hotel breakfast area is too small and it was a very busy morning - this resulted in no forks, no glasses and no cereal bowls whilst the coffee machine had run out. The quality of the food was good and we loved the room on the 10th floor.

On arrival met by very friendly staff. The room felt a little clinical and the TV was a little small but was clean and bed comfy. A little carpet or rug would improve the room.

Overall good. The 'new' style check in feels a bit over relaxed to the point of odd but then the speed and readiness of this way of working really seems effective. Great location in Brighton.

« The service was very good and we enjoyed the very short stay we made »

We arrived on Saturday, and received our electronic keys very quickly. The staff were very helpful. My partner had wanted a ground floor room, but unfortunately none were available due to Labour Party conference being staged in Brighton. Breakfast on the Sunday morning was very good; I was able to get vegetarian sausages. Choice of food items was very good; always nice to be able to choose the healthy option.

Everything was really nice, only thing I'd say is that when you hold the luggage in separate rooms it was a hassle as suitcases were just piled on top of each other in different rooms and very confusing, but overall everything else was fine

« Nice hotel, useless staff »

Myself and my partner were traveling in to stay at this hotel in Brighton, due to flight times we’d get to Brighton at about 9am so the £15 charge for 9am was a wonderful thing for us. We got to the hotel just after 9am, and we ask to check in and I tell the man that we paid for early check in he tells me they were fully booked last night and have no rooms and to come back at 2pm (not even the right check in time for normal check in) I then repeat that I’m not happy about this because I paid to check in early at 9am he then ‘corrected’ and said it was 10am (once again a completely made up check in time) but he continued to check us in and find us a room magically since 2 minutes ago the hotel was fully book and we couldn’t apparently check in till 10. This whole time the staff just seemed uninterested, disconnected, and unhelpful. Certainly won’t be returning to the ibis brand if this is how they are training their staff
