« Great Location, walking distance from all the action. »

It was a great experience staying at the IBIS property. The staff was extremely helpful and very courteous and friendly. Just the rooms were a bit too small and storage space also limited. The dividing walls between rooms were flimsy and you could literally hear anything that was on the other side! No great breakfast in house, but then everything you want to eat is a few minutes walk away. Overall, it was nice to be here. A pity though that my son Paranay C. booked through Expedia and despite being an Accor gold member was denied points, because of this.

« Good value, helpful staff and good breakfast »

Had a great time here as the position is so close to Darling Harbour and the new Barangaroo walk. Room was basic but clean and the staff were nice and helpful. What really made our stay so good was the fact that we managed to get the $1 each breakfast and that was excellent. The breakfast room is pleasant, quite large and welcoming. I hope they continue to make this special offer so that we are tempted to come again.

Firstly the stay was overprice -$500 dollaea for that hotel/room is exhorbitant. The first morning, after showering noticed that there are no towels, and had to dry myself with the floor mat. Iron leaking. Upon notifying the reception, recwived a note with a bottle of mineral water and a jar of hard candy. What business traveller wants to eat a jar of hard candy? A more thoughtful gift would have beem appreciated. Each of the three nights I stayed, upon returning to the hotel, the room key didn't work and requires reprogramming. No apology at the front office. The room itself is very basic and not well thought through - the sheets arent fitred to the bed for example. Would not stay again, especially for the price.

« Awful room, unrealistically noisy »

Staff friendly, great. Our room 211 was ridiculously noisy, we discovered when retiring to go to bed at approximately 10pm we were right next to a freeway, the road noise was awful hence a rotten nights sleep, sorry Ibis, never again will we use this property!

Saturday night we were woken by neighbours returning from drinking, betweent 1am until 3am in the morning. The night duty person came up, but the guests who had 2 rooms on the same floor kept going between the rooms & making noise . Very disappointing.

The overall experience was good. However, in the last day when I accidentally remove the sheets of the bed I saw that the mattress was full of mould. So it was kind of disappointing.
