Pleasant and quick reception check in and check out. Room was very clean and functional although relatively small though that's not really an issue on a work trip. Easy access to Barangaroo.

Excellent staff, room had all the amenities we expected however the room was very small. Location very handy to darling harbour and the overseas cruise terminal. Good breakfast.

Check in was smooth, efficient and friendly....Room was small, as expected at the minimal charge, perfectly clean, no noise despite being adjacent to road overpass. Close to Wynyard Station, Kings Wharf, Barangaroo...would stay there again. Bed was very comfortable, toiletries first rate. Did not use the cafe but noticed it was very busy.

My stay for one night, sharing with my sister, was clean and tidy. Had all that we needed for the night, Bathroom shampoo conditioner, and shower gel, clean fluffy towels and tea making facilities. Pillows were fluffy and comfortable. Only problem was they do not have single beds, so had to share the queen size bed with my sister.

Was my birthday and I didn't tell the staff that. When I got back to my room after an afternoon on the harbour a bottle of wine & chocolates to wish me happy Birthday was waiting for me. Also, having our car parking validated for more than 24 hours at a reduced rate was a bonus.

« A room next to the lift.. that goes all night »

As a Silver AccorPlus member who's loyalty should be rewarded, I was given a room next to the lift which was noisy and one of the main lifts for the hotel that went all night. I was there for a business trip and my poor sleep certainly influenced my work for the 2 days that I was working in Sydney. Surely there were alternative rooms available, considering I booked weeks in advance. I was of the understanding the Accor members would have some privileges not the left over room...very disappointed

On the evenings that you stayed with us all of our upgraded room types were fully booked which unfortunately meant that we were unable to upgrade your room, as we would always do otherwise. Due to this our team has chosen one of our most spacious standard rooms on the top floor of the hotel as the next best option. I am sorry to hear that this did not meet your expectations and more so that you were disturbed during your sleep. I have now updated your profile at our hotel with a preference for rooms away from the lift to ensure any future stays you may have with us are as comfortable as possible. I have also credited your Accor Plus LeClub account with 2000 points as a gesture of apology for the inconvenience during your stay. Our lifts are being upgraded this coming week. A great experience staying at Ibis Sydney King Street Wharf for a couple of days while in town on business. There was a little confusion at check-out trying to fix up my bill using Google Pay (Paypass)/card details provided on arrival and comment that there should have been a physical card presented at check-in. Luckily cleared up quickly and charged correctly. Will ask to be booked here again in future.

« Basic budget hotel, satisfactory for intended purposes, in a good location. »

Hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating. Hotel is in a great location, with Kings wharf and Darling Harbor attractions very near by, as well as a bus stop. The hotel itself is not posh, and the rooms are on the small side, but the bed is comfortable, the air conditioning is quiet and effective, and the window has black out blinds which came in handy.
