The room was very comfortable with lovely big shower. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Overall very pleased except for the dog charge which was three times more than any other Ibis we have stayed in - 15 euros a night is too much for a small dog that just sleeps in its own bed!

expect from the IBIS chain clean tidy comfortable rooms. No frills and functional. Breakfast was ok as was the hotel wifi. The only down side was I checked in on line to save time but it was totally pointless saved no time at all and still had to be checked in by reception staff.

The hotel was an alternative due to the fully booked state of Barcelona (MWC2018). It turned out to be a good hotel for me with the price/service ratio being high in these circumstances. The direct bus from Barcelona (Universitat) to the hotel and back was very convenient and cheap. The Internet service was fine and the bedroom typical IBIS level but clean and practical. The main asset to the hotel, however, were the very friendly staff who tried to make you feel at home.

I have been staying at Ibis Mataro regularly since it opened and it feels like a home from home. Staff are very friendly and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel was very busy for the Mobile Phone Conf and F1 Testing so the prices were more than I usually pay.

On 21.10.2017 evening after 11pm i yry call ibis mataro reception more than 15 times , the person dosnt answer the phone. comen how its posible. even if he do some other work in kitchen or else should have bloototh with him. i hed a nececery call to my room my daughter she was with me in barcelona city, wat i shame...

« Great Hotel »

Ojala Ibis England was as good as Ibis Barcelona! We were a group of around 25 people staying at Ibis Mataro for our friends' wedding. The rooms were nice, good size, very clean and had a fantastic blind so we could get a great night sleep to recover from all the parting! As my flight was delayed for 6 hours I arrived around 23:00 and was starving, still I could ordered food cos they serve it 24/7, and that was great! The breakfast was fresh and had a large variety. Staff are very friendly and helpful, specially Noemi from the breakfast bar. Overall I very much enjoyed my experience there and would return.

Worthless, the employee guaranteed a non smoking room. Instead I had a smoking room for one night completely ruining my good sleep!
