« A Lovely Place to Stay »

This is our second visit to this property and it certainly won’t be our last. We stayed for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Our 1 bedroom apartment was in fabulous condition with a lovely balcony where the king parrots visited morning and evening. They are so tame. Lots of kangaroos as well. The restaurant went out of their way to accommodate my husband’s food intolerances and all meals both breakfast and dinner were excellent. All of staff were delightful and special thanks to Scott for his advice on the drive to Eildon. Can’t wait to return.

Dear Pat, Thank you so much for your lovely feedback regarding your recent stay with us. The team are fantastic and it is lovely to know that they looked after you and your husband so well. Scott is a wealth of knowledge and is wrapped that you took his advice and drove to Eildon on one of your day drives. We look forward to welcoming you back sometime soon. regards Andrea

« Worse than 2 star accommodation »

We booked 2 months in advance for what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. First they gave us a smelly dark room, then a room with filthy dirty bathroom. They were short staffed everywhere with one cook for the whole resort. We had to wait for an hour for breakfast. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

Good Morning Badi I recall you staying over the last weekend of April 2017, where I do remember you and I met in the Restaurant to discuss your initial concerns and I was very apologetic. I also followed up with the below email on Monday 24 April after receiving your business card personally. Your Trip advisor comments are not a true reflection of the communication you and I had in the restaurant which is a little disappointing, as you would have also noted the vast majority of our feedback is extremely positive. Badi if your travels bring you back to the Victorian High Country, please feel free to contact me directly to personally take care of your reservation. Sincerely Michael Eibrink Jansen General Manager The Sebel Pinnacle Valley SENT ON Monday 24 APRIL 2017 "Good Morning Badi Firstly, thank you for choosing to stay at The Sebel Pinnacle Valley, hope you enjoyed your time in the Victorian High Country. It was nice meeting you and I appreciate the feedback, which allows us the opportunity to improve our services, so thank you very much. I certainly hope my team and I have the opportunity to assist you in the future, whether it would be for business or leisure. Sincerely, Michael Eibrink Jansen General Manager The Sebel Pinnacle Valley"

« Short Break »

Scenic drives close by. Apartments comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of onsite activities available, eg. games room for kids and full gym. We loved the wood fires in both the lodge and the main reception/restaurant area, the lounge was great for getting together with others. We enjoyed the walks around the resort and the wildlife eg. kangaroos and bird life. Short drive into Mansfield. for shopping etc.

« One grumpy recentionist, called 'Shae' ruined all good trip »

It was initially a wonderful trip, despite there was no internet in the apartment area. It could have been a pleasant experience. However, it broke down when I check out. The girl at the reception 'Shae' was quite grumpy and angry with attitude to me, which I did not know where was it coming from. She later did not sent me tax invoice as I am entitled to, which necessitated me calling the hotel twice to be emailed to me. Just an honest review. Hope could help the Sebel Pinnacle Valley Hotel. Kind regards,

« At the foot of the mountains »

Beautiful property near Mt Buller with everything you need for a great get away for families and couples. Room comes with full kitchen, large fridge, nice bedroom. Great pool with kids pool as well. Tennis, volleyball, mini golf, free washing machines and dryers. Spa and drying room as well. We stayed in summer and this was fantastic as it isnt to drive to many destinations in the area including mountains and wineries. We ate breakfast in dining room which was nice on the outside balcony, be careful as they charge for toast, coffee and juice on top of breakfast. Dinner was nice with a small menu. Wifi did not work for the three full days we were there but we managed. Foxtel in rooms was bonus as we love sport. Friendly staff and would definitely go again. The area around the hotel etc is steep so not suitable for people with walking issues. Hotel rooms aren't cleaned everyday unless you aks and pay but we didn't mind at all as there is a dishwasher etc in room. Lovley toiletries etc included and they will give you more if you ask.

« A lovely stay »

We were very warmly and personally welcomed by Casey when we arrived. The first impressions of the grounds were that it was spacious, beautifully maintained and created a relaxed ambiance. The staff were both professional and friendly. We required assistance at one point and Vicki and Greg were their to sort out the problem almost immediately. Great range of activities and excellent food and wine. The steak was always cooked to perfection. Casey looked after us and gave us a spacious room with a great view from the balcony. The abundance of wildlife was a wonderful surprise. We have been recommending the resort to family and friends and are greatly looking forward to our next stay.

« 3 spring nights travelling solo »

I stayed 3 nights in a studio room. The room was spotless and gorgeous. Because the hotel building is seperate from the restaurant/reception it feels really private. I checked in on a public holiday and really appreciated the courtesy phone call stating that the restaurant was closed for dinner that day. The kitchenettes in the rooms are well equipped to prepare your own meals and this was not a problem. A couple of things that I would've liked to know when I checked in: There is no room service (I booked the hotel based on this), there are no breakfasts mid-week, and rooms are not serviced during your stay. The information book in the rooms also stated otherwise. I ate from the restaurant one night (you can order over the phone and walk the short distance to pick it up) and the meal was OUTSTANDING. I have had a lot of mushroom risotto in my life, and this was by far the best. Overall a fantastic stay. Staff were very friendly and always available to assist.

« Pleasantly surprised; beautiful accommodation and grounds; so close to Mt Buller! »

My family stayed at one of the 2 bedroom chalets and we were pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodation and service we received. The chalet was spacious and the furnishings appeared to be new. There was so much to do within the resort and we wished we had more time to enjoy it. It is so close to Mt Buller and well worth staying here for the quality of accommodation. We would love to come back in Summer to enjoy the all the resort has to offer!

A lovely place, excellent service, clean spacious apartment. We got a great deal with excellent breakfast included, cooked to order, so yummy & catered well for our kids. Did not try restaurant for dinner (was a bit out of our price range).

« Excellent rooms, great activities, good location. »

A good location for Mt. Buller in Winter or Summer. The rooms have been very well refurbished and are comfortable, clean and well furnished. The staff are very helpful. The facilities are very good (ski hire, bike hire, sauna, drying room, etc) and the fireplace in the hall is very pleasant in Winter. I would suggest that the pool is not closed in Winter as a quick dip after the sauna is certainly refreshing.

« Very comfortable and good value »

On arrival at this hotel we were given a room upgrade as Accor members, and were placed in a very comfortable 1 bedroom apartment. We were very happy with the room, and the price we paid. We stayed for 2 nights, but only ate in the restaurant on the first night. Both my wife and I had entree and a steak, and although the steak possibly lacked a little in presentation, was actually very nice. And to be honest, we don't care much for presentation, just how it tastes. We didn't encounter many staff members on our stay (the hotel appeared quiet), but all the ones we did encounter were very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady on reception. We didn't use many of the hotels facilities, but there appeared to be a fair bit on offer to keep families fairly well entertained. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, as we will do again sometime

« Room for improvement in customer service »

The rooms were impeccable and very stylish! Our intention for the family was for bush walks and outdoor activities. On two occasions we were given lacklustre and on another occasion incorrect information. We firstly enquired about nearby walks. The information given was vague and an information sheet with nearby walks and their rating of difficulty would have been very helpful. On another occasion we enquired whether a bike ride with the resorts bike to Sheep yard flat was possible. We were advised yes. We later ran out of time and decided on a short bike ride around the resort. The bikes were definitely not roadworthy as gears did not work. On our departure we drove to sheep yard flat and to our astonishment it was approximately 20 kms away. Not only the distance, the state of the bikes but more of a concern was the 16kms of gravel road up a steep mountain to the destination. The advise given at reception was totally unbelievable and blatantly based on lack of experience.

The hotel is in a great location at the foot of Mount Buller. At the moment there is a lot of open space with kangaroos and deer roaming the grounds which is quite pleasant. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed.

We stayed a Sebel Pinnacle Valley in late August and drove out of the resort feeling like we had just received the best service we have ever experienced. Whilst the resort is set in beautiful, natural surroundings with breathtaking views of Mt Buller, the wonderful staff were imprinted on our minds. It wasnt just lip service, these people were 100% genuine in their efforts to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Also, all our meals including brekky were superb, along with drinks by the fireplace. A special mention to Ramesh who couldnt have done any more to help us, and also Brad in the ski shop who gave us some great advice. Will be back someday.

« Wonderful place to stay at the foothills of Mt Bullier Ski Fields »

Such a luxurious place to stay, fine dining and well appointed rooms. The staff were friendly and professional and ensured that our stay was a wonderful one. The location is fabulous with exotic birds flying around and eating at the bird feeders, kangaroos bounding around on the hills include a gorgeous lake running through the property and it just makes for a million dollar view. Make sure you visit this wonderful property, you will certainly enjoy the experience.

« Would stay again »

Took advantage of Accor red hot deal. Stayed one night in the hotel section, lovely big room, which included small kitchenette. Big comfy bed with good pillows. This resort is located on acreage, not close to town, however we enjoyed a very nice evening meal in the resort restaurant. During the week breakfast option is continental only. Check in/out quick and staff very attentive. Would be an ideal location for day trips to Mt Buller with the kitchenette making you quite self contained. A self service laundry is also available.
