« Perfect if seeking isolation »

Pleasant but frustrating, lack of phone/internet connection was extremely frustrating for this particular vacation.

« Family fun »

We stayed in one of the Chalets and it was perfect. It was extremely clean, well designed and really spacious. The children loved having their own room upstairs. The grounds were beautifully maintained and offered so much to do. There were the row boats, walks, pool and sauna. Fabulous weekend away. Will definitely be coming back.

« always excellent - this time, no different. »

Everything from check in to check out was seamless. Great staff in reception, excellent room and facilities. I'll be back again next year. A couple of minor comments. I couldn't work out how to start the dishwasher, so asked at reception. It still wouldn't start. The wonderful maintenance guy left me a brilliant note and started it for me, but didn't say what he did. Needless to say, I couldn't start it on the last day.....maybe a small not on how to start it would be great.

« clean , neat & tidy »

For the uninitiated, and 1st time guests, it is not clear that the "Peaks" reception office is connected with the apartments - some 100m distant. So - at the entrance to the apartments, there should be clear advice of this, OR, clear signage on the driveway entrance, that Sebel guests should 1st visit reception at the appropriate location. Other than that, staff were courteous & helpful and the room very comfortable

Fantastic! Rooms, and facilities are top-notch. Staff always had a smile on their faces, and went above and beyond to help guests. A special mention goes to the gardener, who i asked for a hose so that i could hose off my mountain bike. He stopped what he was doing immediately, and showed me to the nearest hose. Great work guys!

« Peace and tranquility in a beautiful location in the Summer. »

The Booking: I start with Booking.com to check by location where I can book and because we travel frequently I have access to some really great deals. That said I always check directly through the chosen resort/hotel and book directly so you are getting the best deal too. Initially there was a mix up with our booking dates over the phone. When I received my confirmation I checked the dates and saw they were incorrect. I rang the hotel back after hours and was asked to call back the next day to sort it out so I emailed the hotel overnight and rang and left a message for Tara the next day. The booking was changed and re-confirmed. Tara was most apologetic and sincere. The Setting: The wildlife added to the enjoyment. The grounds, pool, tennis court and other facilities were superb - we had no clue there was a games room beneath the restaurant though. Check In: I tried to upgrade at check in but was told the hotel was at 85% occupancy - hard to believe when we saw so few people. The Accomodation: Nice. The option of fresh air with an open window OR the use of the air conditioner a definite plus. The choice of a square toilet bowl is a design choice that is more about looks than comfort. The rain shower is delightful but our hand held fixture spouted more water out of the fitting than out of the holes provided so was not useable. I'd pay more per night for a room with better quality toilet paper and a clock set for the current local time. The Dining Experience: It would have been good to be informed in advance the restaurant had been relocated to the bar during our stay because of upcoming weddings - there were no weddings while we were there and none scheduled for the next week. We were seated at a table with a view of the road to reception and not the mountain view we had expected. We were also under very bright down lights that could not be dimmed. By dessert we were able to move to a better table. The LED candles on the tables were not to our liking. Because we were dining in the bar area there was a television screen on - again not meeting our expectations of a restaurant dinner. Our entree cutlery did not arrive and my husband used his steak knife for his calamari. I have a LeClub membership but needed to prove it even though it was on our check in details. Your chef was most accomodating as I suffer from many food allergies. The chef made sure my meal was perfectly catered to my needs and presented beautifully. Our wait staff Alicia was very polite but perhaps should have written down my allergies. Entree and Main Course were perfect but I was served one of my allergens as a garnish on my dessert (not mentioned on the menu) and was unwell after. I do not believe the chef was re-informed of my allergies when the dessert menu was ordered. Our other wait staff Scott was most apologetic and tried his best to smooth things over. Breakfast on the Balcony: We arranged to be able to sit outdoors for our breakfast the next day to enjoy the view we had been craving the night before - a far more pleasant experience. Scott looked after us once again but was not aware of the LeClub $1 breakfast special - I was later informed we needed to book a special way to qualify for it. Breakfast on the second morning we ate indoors as occupancy was so low we were the only diners. Check Out: It was during check out I was informed how to qualify for the LeClub specials (too late). The $1 breakfast deal was not available to us because I booked directly with the hotel instead of through LeClub online. This was not Tara's fault she was most helpful during my phone booking and perhaps not aware these things are available so this could be an in-house training suggestion. For your staff to go that extra Accor mile and advise customers that if they are a LeClub Member they would have access to special deals if they booked online would be great. It's what we've come to expect from our other affiliations across the world. In Summary: We will definitely return. I don't think we'd enjoy the peak winter season but for an off-peak quiet mid week stay this resort is perfect for us. If capacity was high because of large conference group we would want to know in advance to work around those bookings. Thanks for taking the time to digest this long winded response.

« Exceeded our expectations »

Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. The grounds were immaculately well maintained with so many extra features that were a pleasant surprise. We especially enjoyed engaging with the wildlife. The facilities were wonderful and we used them all! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We dined at the restaurant which was nicely furnished and comfortable. The food was great too! We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

« We really enjoyed our stay. »

My husband and I and our guests had a very relaxing and enjoyable time in the beautiful surroundings. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient. We were able to enjoy some restaurant meals as Accor Plus members. All in all, it was a very good holiday. I'm taking this opportunity to deal with your next question, where your options don't meet my needs! We were just having a holiday, not business, but we were not a family with children, nor only a couple, nor friends. My husband and I invited my brother and his wife to come with us, and it was fortunate that, despite their busy schedule, they were able to stay the whole week. Also, I booked the stay through Interval. Your next question doesn't allow me to answer accurately. If you want to improve your services, you need to improve the survey as I can't answer some of the mandatory questions from your limited options!!!

« wonderful relaxing wildlife escape. »

(Well I thought I had already completed this survey but the length may have turned me off - we will see this time.)Some questions need an extra check box for AVC> Couldn't fault a thing from the not so wild birds knocking on our window, the beautiful accommodation and the delightful restaurant EXCEPT for the sofas - I do not believe anybody could get comfortable in these sofas - with or without the pillows - just horrible. and also having no wifi available in apartment.

« I loved my stay, exactly what I had expected »

I enjoyed everything that we did and our accomodation was perfect.. I just wish I could've stayed longer.. The only thing was the menu at the restaurant, I loved my meal but they had no kangaroo left as the customer before ordered the last one and my partner doesn't eat a lot of fancy food so he was limited to the steak only (which he is normally a chicken Parma kind of guy), and nothing too fancy but for someone who doesn't usually eat steak he loved his meal.. But the prices were a little expensive too...
