Perfectly fine except for one thing - the overhead heater was broken so for the first couple of hours of my stay I was freezing cold waiting for wall heater to warm the place up. Apart from that, totally fine hotel.

Not that impressed room not very clean. Very noisy people running along the corridors shouting and trying to open doors. On a good note the bed was comfy.

For the price it was basic. Edging on table broken, shower head broken and water didnt stay warm. Under sofa bed had not been hoovered for quite some time.

« We were satisfied with our 2 night stay. »

We were comfortable. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good. People woke us shouting and swearing on Saturday night from around two corners nearer the lift. I had to go and close the fire door to shut off the sound. The room was around the corner towards the lift and when you had turned the corners it was the 2nd room on the right. If there had been a phone in our room I would have spoken straight away to management to get them to stop it. We have stayed with Etap/Ibis many times and this has not happened before.

Clean, warm, comfortable room, shower facilities and bed. Staff were polite and helpful. This is a budget hotel so its not bells and whistles however I thought it was excellent value and would choose to stay again.

Great hotel for location and has everything you need for a short break. My only complaint are the loud banging doors. Even so this didn’t continue to late into the night and there is no noise from outside traffic.

The bed was comfortable and even though our room (123) was facing the main road, is was very quiet. The bathroom was quite nice but a tight fit and the the bottom of the door looked rotten. It’s possible that we got a room reserved for one or two night stays only. The decor was very bland, (white and grey) There was an open type wardrobe with a few hangers and shelves, a desk with tea and coffee making fascilities on, an orange plastic chair and a T.V. We didn’t know that we had to pay for parking till we arrived at the hotel.

« Exorbitant, unrefundable price for no-frills room »

The price of over £150 for one night in a plain single room (one double bed, no breakfast) was well over double what I later found elsewhere, but because the booking was unrefundable I had to lump it. There was no fridge/minibar, the walls were thin enough to hear people in neighbouring rooms talking, and the shower temperature fluctuated wildly.
