« Does exactly what it says on the tin! »

Simple, easy, hotel experience - majority of users I suspect will stay for one-two nights before catching an early morning flight (as we did). Rooms are basic but probably more than what was expected for the budget price and name tag. Amenities in the foyer (reception area, bar, restaurant) were great and meant we were not confined to our rooms. Staff and service were friendly and helpful. Probably doesn't help for your improvement initiatives sorry, just keep doing what you are doing!!

Good budget hotel with easy access to the airport, NEC and the Genting arena. Clean and quiet room. Didn’t like the shower in the actual room as no room for privacy; strange idea!

The room was clean, but very basic - surprised not to have any shampoo.. The bedding was minimalist and I woukd have aporeciated ab extra blanket. Staff were pleasant, though.

The hotel was budget in all respects except the price. The rooms are very basic which would be OK if that was reflected in the price, but for £129 I expect more. Bar service was very slow, 1 hour for dinner to arrive and poorly cooked and presented.

I booked the room online through your website and pay £38 for the room. It did not get off to a great start as when I arrived I was told that I had not paid for the room and it would be £65. I showed them the email regarding the room being charged at £38 and the staff member showed it to the manager but said it had not been paid. So I paid again for the room another £38 which was not what I expected. I had found the email to show I had already paid this and went down to reception and spoke to another staff member who had to speak to the manager and refund the amount. I had booked a twin room and was given a double and a staff member had to come and fix the tv which was not working. He did a great job of fixing the tv. I had overheard guests talking about refreshments on the 1st floor which I had not been told about on arrival. I asked him about this and he showed me and my mother and there was no milk and he went and found some for us. The Ibis was fine for the price but I was disappointed that the information from my booking it online was not received by the hotel. I would want to ring next time to book it over the phone as I have never experienced any issues like this when I booked it on the phone. Please can you sort out the booking website so that information goes across to the hotel.

Usual good, no- frills standard. Location next to departures is brilliant for an early morning flight. They even do a wake-up knock, which is much appreciated as a back-up to an alarm clock.

Good service but I still didn’t receive the invoices which are supposed to be send by email. If I can’t have the invoice I cannot use anymore ibis for business trip. I need the invoices urgently for my accountability

« Privacy is Bad »

There was no lock on the toilet door. The shower door was both slightly translucent and had a massive hole in the side. When stepping out of the shower, I also fell and gained a massive bruise. Although you have a sign saying "watch out, floor slippy", I think you should still improve the floor itself due to health and safety reasons. Also, I could not access the TV video-in cables as they were blocked off meaning I couldn't connect my laptop to view on the big screen. We had a few problems with the logistics of the room. At one point we couldn't get in and were angrily shouted at by a man saying "you haven't paid for the room". Luckily, another employee showed up and immediately solved the situation pointing out that we did, in fact, pay for the room.

Queuing a long time during check in. Think it was a one off issue as two of those who checked in before me had issues with their bookings. There was a long queue after me. It was unavoidably the first day before Easter Holidays so would understand. My check in was very efficient with professional staff lasting less than 1 minute.
