« Good for a one night stay »

The check in went fine, staff friendly and professional. Room and toilet clean. Room very basic but fine for one night (would never stay for more than that), as all the ibis budgets. The only baffling thing is the "tea and coffee room", which apparently is supposed to be on the first floor, but, upon going there, I could not find any pointers as to where it was located, so I gave up, since I was tired and had an earlier flight. Could have gone back to reception and asked, but I think it should be signalled better with signs, so people can find it more easily.

« Staff weren’t coping with the number of guests »

There were so many guests that the staff were struggling - my room cards weren’t available (I had to queue despite checking-in online & being told that queueing would be unnecessary) & the queue for the bar was ridiculously long (1/2 hour plus an extra 45mins if wanting to order food!)

The hotel was over run with dogs ,which made common area foyer ,lift, and corrridor smell of dogs which made unpleasant for me.the staff was very good and explained they was a dog show on.

It’s so handy for the car park and airport. Had a nice evening meal. Room basic but clean. Staff excellent. Shocked to see so many dogs. Until someone told us it was the start of Crufts.

« Could have been better !! »

Reported problem with shower - only COLD water - after TWO NIGHTS (with cold showers) we were given another room. Evening meals were good, breakfast ok. The restaurant manager we met was very pleasant as was the reception manageress, some of the other staff were good but some not so good !! Have stayed at this hotel every March for a number of years and intend returning next March so hope for a good deal !!

Comfortable, basic room that is very well situated for the airport and yet not noisy. For a cheap night's sleep ahead of an early flight it fits the bill nicely. Courteous staff and easy check in and check out processes too.

Room like a sauna, couldn`t cool without opening window as heat unit only blew hot air. Hotel full of dogs, barking after 10pm for an hour ! I`m allergic to dogs, constantly sneezing, why did no-one say there would any staying in hotel ?

Very helpful & pleasant staff Great that we could eat in the room as we have our dog & couldn't leave him - Crufts stay 2 extras that would have made a REAL difference - Really would have been nice to have tea & coffee in room & somewhere to put things like a couple of extra shelves & hooks, saves 2 people living off the floor. That wouldn't cost you much & it wasn't a great thing for us
