Good service, free morning activities such as yoga, cycling, walks, pool is lovely and not too crowded. Breakfast buffet is ok, needs more cereal varieties. Good value for money. Shuttle to beach very regular and a nice spot.

« As expected with minor glitch »

As expected with 5 star hotel and sea side hotel. Food are nice, kids friendly, variable through days. Cleaning are fast and cleannes is great and extraordinary. Some of hotel thing not working properly like wastafel is stuck, shower is hard to use since slipperly hand count not rotate the handle. Beach bar is ok. Thing is missing is place for adults, like live music or night entertaintment since nusa dua is isolated. I prefer not to go out from hotel.

Such a great hotel for families, the pool is perfect. It is not on the beach, but the hotel runs an easy transfer bus that takes 2 min! Rooms are huge, and plenty of space for a family. Grounds are beautiful and staff just lovely. Couldn't fault it for an easy intro to Bali.

As above, beautiful gardens/pool, spacious/comfortable room and great kids club provided relaxing and enjoyable stay. Location good for going out to local restaurants/bar and shops. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Compared to other similar resorts stayed at in Nusa Dua the breakfast buffet choice wasn’t as varied and the quality not as good. Coffee wasn’t great and croissants disappointing considering what was produced and available at Pure cafe. Disappointed with the Pizza buffet night as pizzas weren’t really pizzas or the same as sold in the bar or from room service. Fortunately the other choices on offer helped although again the desserts looked great but the quality not as good as other resorts been to. As a silver member disappointed when reception told us we could not get softer pillowss as only one sort but the next day at breakfast when mentioned to staff member asking how things were she did resolve and pillows were changed.

« A nice location and facilities but let down a little by service staff attention to detail »

Overall good However consistently let down by food and beverage service staff: 1. When food or drink was ordered, the room charge reciept was not brought out at the same time. Sometimes nearly an hour later, in one instance we were called in the room long after we left the pool area. It was very annoying. It was a very regular issue and needs to be fixed. Bring the reciept tonsign WITH the order at the same time. 2. When we order food with something different, the order was correctly understood and read back by the service staff but then the order is delivered incorrect. For example if we order with mayonaise extra it is delivered with no extra mayonaise. Again this was a frequent problem. 3. Room amenities missing. In the room 5203 there was only 1 drinking glass for example. 4. No fresh milk available for coffee in room. This should be available on request

« It would have been perfect if not for the issue that arised on the day of our departure. »

Rooms were great, facilities were great too. However on the last day of our stay (2nd October 2018,Tuesday) , we made an airport transfer booking at the front desk for 2 pax at 7:30pm and paid it on the spot. we went down to the lobby at 7:20 to inform the guys near the drop off area that we have an airport transfer at 7:30pm and they took our luggage and placed it at the side for us and said that they will call for the driver. at about 7:40pm, no one called out to us and we asked the guys if our driver will be late. And they asked us if we have already made a booking and said we had not paid for it! then why did they took our bags and told us that they will be calling the driver? In the first place, when a guest made a booking for an airport transfer at 7:30pm, we expect the car to be already on standby at 7:30pm near the lobby to pick up the guests. But no. We had to ask for our transfer and were given a negative response. We are very disappointed with the way the arrangement was made and the communication between the front office and the transportation company. There wouldn't language issue as my friend is Indonesian and was communicating with everyone in Bahasa Indonesia from the start. Is this the service standard of the Novotel Hotel has for their guests? I was pretty surprised. Moreover , This is my first trip to Bali and I had high expectations for Novotel Hotel and Resorts. I was still planning on returning back to Novotel Hotel on my next trip back to Bali with my Family until the incident on the last day has turned me off. I would be giving second thoughts about it. Very satisfied. Absolute customer friendly. Child friendly. Met my expectations on all aspects (breakfast, hotel room etc.). However, please sort out the issue with the towels around the swimming pool. All the chairs were mostly occupied. And occupied by the towel (for more then 90 minutes) and not even by person. We only used the swimmingpool with our baby 2 times during our 1 week stay. We could never find a free chair without a towel. People were going to breakfast and leave their towel on the chairs. this is really unacceptable for families with children like us.

The apartments are beautiful but broader resort facilities need doing up, kids club is terrible, barely any toys and very tired and dated, toys in toddler pool non existent and floats mouldy, ridiculous you have to hire float toys for main pool and breakfast buffet needs more variety, scrambled eggs need improving
