« Good, but could be better. »

The room was great, also the service. However, the hotel should take more care of the plumbing - I had a "flood" in my bathroom due to a leak in the tap, but the tap was only replaced after a second "flood". It should have been replaced right after the first one. Also, the water in the shower take too much time to heat, so if the hotel wants to be seen as "ecofriendly" the heat should come faster. And the shower had several spots jammed, so no uniform water stream.

Very good on check-in. But during the check-out some surprises appeared. I've checked-in already paying the entire stay and including the parking lot. No other information was giving about the parking lot. When checking-out, the parking assistant told me I have to pay extra ours due to the expiration of hotel parking stay. No one told me about that and when asking the Mercure staff about this they said it's not related to Marcure anymore ("This It's not my problem" attitude). At the end, I've to pay the parking lot twice, and Mercure is out of my list of hotel preferences.

« Good service, lack of maitenance »

About service? is always a pleasure to visit Mercure. Front desk, Bar, Room Service, everyone provides a remarkable service. Please take a moment to review the status of the rooms, lack of maintenance will impact service pretty soon! Specially in this case the bathroom door was not operational in its lock hardware. Also the bed mattress wasn't very confortable.

« Very comfortable at the best location »

Mercure is definitely at the best location in Santos, right across the street from the beach. Staff is greatly accommodating, facilities are clean, modern and comfortable. I wish valet parking and breakfast were included. The beach towel service is also great.

« Amazing »

I'd like to start saying we love this hotel. The staff always prompt and kind, the view is amazing and the room very comfortable. There are some small issues though - the restaurant seems small when hotel occupation is full, as well as the number of elevators. We also had some noise issues from other appartments at the begining of our stay, but all was settled. In the end, I still believe this is the best hotel in Santos, and our number one choice when staying in that city.

« Excellent spaces and facilities; great breakfast, friendly staff but need some renovation to keep up compatible with the brand MERCURE »

It was acctually very short but at the same time pleasent. We didn´t have enough time to enjoy all the hotel facilities although we had visited all of them. It was a nice experience but a renovation is urgently required as the depreciaton is clear in the rooms.

First impression great attention from reception as I arrived. However dealing with check in and 3 little kids I forgot my two passports, home keys and child thongs at reception. I called reception and the only thing they had was one passport. I had to insist to go through surveillance cameras and waited a long time at reception with kids. After 3 hours I've got all my belongings back. My question is: how they had only one passport? Secondly, how they misplaced the other passport, inside a bag, with things and keys in a place that none of the staff could find for 3 hours? End of history, my experience was not great, spent 3 hours running around with kids waiting for passaporte to be found and getting a key person to open my house door, and even with keys back I spent 100,00 to pay the harassment I gave to the key man...

Very nice hotel and friendly staff with great food in resurant. Great location to the beach right across the street and many places in walking distance to shop and eat. Highly recommend this hotel as great value pricing for the location.

I was really expecting a Mercure standard suite. And what I found was not even close to, or even similar in any way. Disappointed really!!! It was just like an ordinary, mediocre actually, apartment. No decoration, not cosy, nor comfortable. Probably I would have had a better experience at the Ibis or even an AIRBNB. Service and staff were just perfect. Location wonderful. But the apartment had nothing to do with the photos presented at the website!
