I was really expecting a Mercure standard suite. And what I found was not even close to, or even similar in any way. Disappointed really!!! It was just like an ordinary, mediocre actually, apartment. No decoration, not cosy, nor comfortable. Probably I would have had a better experience at the Ibis or even an AIRBNB. Service and staff were just perfect. Location wonderful. But the apartment had nothing to do with the photos presented at the website!

The room was quite nice, in need of some repairs, but overall, very tidy. The floor on the other hand was very dirty. It has been 3 days since the check out and my nights haven't been credited to my account.

« Disastrous weekend »

All Mercure hotels are extremily professional, including staff members. We have been to this hotel since its opening! We've trusted and enjoyed every stay here and abroad. Yet I 've realized that nothing is perfect until last week. When I got my car from the parking lot and I was just about to leave....ALAS my car top was bumped and scratched deeply. Imediately I reported to the hotel manager and parking lot manager. After hours of hassle, finally we're back home wondering if ALL this damage will be taken care of. Needless to say that this negotiating process takes an eternity...and frustration. Our relaxing weekend just had turned out to be the most frustrating weekend of our life!!!! I cannot dissociate the brand Mercure with outsourced parking service. Therefore in my opinion, Mercure hotel chain has to know what kind of service is offering to its loyal clients.

Needless to say that Mercure chain hotels are always up to their standards until last week. When we were just to pick up our car, ot was scratched and bumped. What a frustration and disgust!!! Rotten weekend!

« Nice, but noisy neighborhood »

Stayed overnight and expected to find a silent room, but there was some sort of live music going on nearby and the hotel windows barely keep the wind from coming in. It tooke me quite a while to get some sleep as the bass frequencies are easily transmitted through the structure to the bed pillows. The room is needs some renovation, but yet offers some comfort. Breakfast is quite the standard for Brazilian hotels and offers a variety of fruits, different types of bread and cheese which pleases me.

« Wonderful place to stay and friendly Staff »

I stayed at Santos Mercure Hotel for a convention that was hosted in the hotel. The place is so beautiful and so calm. Had a really good time, and the staff helped me with everything. I found the hotel quite lovely and really loved the breakfast service + the sauna and the pool. The location is near bars and the center of the hotel and the view from the rooms is beautiful. Thanks again for everything!

My second stay was excellent at the Mercure Santos Hotel, close to the beach with excellent rooms and with great breakfast / lunch / dinner. In addition, the hotel staff is very helpful in assisting us in various situations.

Good service, but I checked in twice in 2 weeks, rooms were different: the first had a very bad working sliding mirror used as bathroom door. The second was a better room, but on the lowest floor (6th): there was a party on the 5th floor one night and I was unable to have silence till after midnight. I left them my leclub membership number, but I didn't get any feedback... it's probably not a valid stay because of the booking, but it would have been nice to hear that from them. Very good breakfast and restaurant, polite personnel everywhere.

The only thing that really anoyed me was having to take a cab in the street when it was raining _ ok it was in front of the hotel, but still - because the recptionist told me that they couldn't call taxis there. :(((
