I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and been very satisfied with the quality and service. However, this time I was disappointed by the service. There was a lack of response from the management of the Spa which resulted in me missing a treatment appointment and the room service was delayed and incomplete.

The hotel is the best Accor Hotel I've stayed at. How ever I was very disappointed the hotel took a deposit on arrival, as a platinum member you expect some level of trust which clearly Accor does not have. I paid online and was then hit with a bunch of additional charges/taxes on departure (apart from the car)

All amenities were superb. The man who cleaned our room ran over to us in passing through the hallway just to introduce himself to us and asked if we needed anything.

My stay at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila was very good but I did not enjoy it as much as I did the last time I came with my husband in Feb. 2014 when we were given free breakfast with our accommodations. Every time I came for vacation to the Phil. in the past, I always book a room or 2 here at this hotel.

I liked that the room we stayed at was newly refurbished. One downside though was when a guest went out of the emergency staircase the alarm went off and it took a while for a hotel personnel to fix it.

Service provided by the staff were excellent. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The air conditioning was a bit slow to cool at first but later it was ok. Overall the experience was well.

I have been to Sofitel every year. However, This trip is the worst accommodation in spite of husband bday anniversary. My coffee order was wrong on the spiral for two days. The menu ordered with ice, but They brought me to a hot menu. And one day, I ordered two but only brought me one. I asked the staff again, but I had not receive. I had to talk again and again. Also, On the first day of booking I paid for breakfast. On the other day, I already paid when I checked in. However, I received a question about billing method from staff without checking. And, Le bar problem. I went to Le bar today 12:30am. I heard that this order is last order. So I ordered something to eat at once. But Beyond 1am, I saw that other customer continued to ordered. I wondered. Decisively, Le bar made another mistake at for lunch today. I order the Ice caffe latte with syrub. But I was gave no sugar no syrub. I talked but Staff can’t understand whats the problem. Also, It takes 20 minutes to delivered coffee to table. Even though there were not many guests. I understand once and twice. But It is so bad. As a result, I wasted an hour and my schedule was broken. I complained to duty manager of that time . But she was very very unkind. I feels uncomfortable from her. So I send the mail like this. And when I checked out, the staff did not know what the "members so gourmet(included $60 for restaurant)". They picked the receipts that included restaurant payment. and I could get the receipt again, and that also included the wrong part. I had to go to the airport hurry, so I had to pay for it. I knowing it was wrong. But I still feel uneasy about the wrong part of the payment. I was doubt whether such a service is five star. I don’t stay at Sofitel on the next trip and I don’t extend Accor Plus.

I sent an email regarding my concern but it has been 10 days and I haven’t receive any response from management yet. After our day one of stay my daughter got bites all over her face, we thought it’s mosquitoe bites since she’s been out all day at the pool but until we checked out on the third day, the bites became bigger and more itchy- then my son and myself got it too.They are bed bug bites. I have pictures and I can send them if needed.

Had wonderful stay at your hotel expect the Monday Morning 12/2/2018 at 8am you had band or something in conference area which was absolutely far to loud ...... perhaps start these sought of shows at 9am for 5 star hotel you need to address that for your guests as this drops standards of what would be a great hotel

Everything went well. Kaye from front desk was so efficient in making sure my check-in was complete and quick. The minor plumbing request for the bathroom floor drain was immediately attended to and corrected. Housekeeping staff Louie and Amor provided what we need and kept the room neat and tidy. My request for daily newspaper was provided but only kn the first day of my stay. I enjoyed watching a good movie on demand. Room food quality and service was great and prompt. So is there any area of concern? The early morning loud music from the tent hall event disturb a very good morning sleep. I was surprised to be charged at check-out for the movie I watched though the welcome letter explicitly mentioned a complimentary movie as my privilege. I did not question it with Arnold who was very professional in processing my check-out. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention, the room upgrade, the welcome drinks, the fruit plate...fresh smell of the room, they made me smile with the thought..."this is the SOFITEL I know and used to"....Thanks again guys, see you next vacation...

Our family had a great and comfortable stay in your hotel. Amenities are complete and staff are very warm and accommodating. We were planning to stay for two nights to celebrate my sons 9th birthday. However, due to their scheduled school activities and games we have to cut our stay to one night. My kids were kinda disappointed because they wanted to explore more your hotel facilities and stay longer. Our stay included a visit to some historical places in Manila which my kids enjoyed a lot. Your guest services staff were so sweet when they surprised my son with a balloon and cookie from your bakeshop as well as a gift. Very nice gesture. We hope to be back in your hotel again.

Sofitel Philippines is one of my favorite hotels in Manila because it makes you forget that you are in the city, it being right by the bay. But I think the rooms need some updating already. One can easily see the paint chipping off on the edges of the sliding doors that are quite difficult to close (sign that it's past its prime). There aren't enough toiletries - no comb, there was just one bar of soap so we had to decide if we should use it for the lavatory or for the shower because one small bottle of shower gel as an alternative for showers just doesn't cut it. Spiral still has one of the best buffets in town but was quite disappointed with the dessert bar. They have 3 kinds of flowing chocolate fondue - in pistachio, pure chocolate and orange but there were only carb-laden half sliced mini muffins or cupcakes for dipping. Since they had 3 kinds of chocolates - it would have been better if they also had fresh fruits like strawberries, mangoes, and banana in addition to the pastries for dipping. And we heard glasses breaking in that area at least twice when we had our lunch last Feb 10.

We stayed at the prestige suite with connecting door to another room. The other room had a smell. I had to bring my own scent to remove the smell but the smell keeps on coming back.
