I have stayed at Sofitel, previously Westin since 1992 and the service and just feeling home in the 10th floor lounge is invaluable Always being given attention and you know that you are a guest they want back The hotel needs an upgrade in the pool areas, and the building privat also needs an upgrade If they do, don’t loose the people, they make Sofitel Manila

« A truly satisfying experience in Sofitel »

Although upon arrival, waiting time is long (2 hrs) to get the key. We are in a group for our National Conference. All my colleagues in marketing already have a key, I approached the person in charge, told me it will depend on the time I arrived. But me and my room mate arrived earlier than others. The other reason they mentioned, late check out of our room and there are repairs to be done. But overall, i don't have any bad experience except that no more food on the 2nd night for JustRight group. Instead, they just gave the reserved VIP food. BTW, I am part of the management, so I am included in the VIP.

I was given a refurbished room on level 6 but it was a bit disappointing that there’s no espresso machine like in some other rooms that I had before. And, the telephone style shower holder is not adjustable in the bathroom so you have to hold it all the time or the water gets sprayed horizontally across the opposite wall or you have to use the rain style shower from the ceiling which I’d rather not as it wets your whole body straight away. I could also hear the noise of guests walking and talking along the hallways and the vehicles driving outside as it looks like the sliding glass door is not double glazed. The staff are really helpful and lovely though and don’t mind doing extra like Miss Kayers at reception who volunteered to assist in finding a product I needed to find outside the hotel at her own time as I didn’t have enough time to shop as I was just there on a work trip. Miss Kayers brought it to me the next day and I just had to pay her for the cost without charging me even for the transportation as she said it was like going for a stroll for her anyway. You could see how genuine her willingness to help. Also with the staff at the concierge headed by Matt who always anticipate my needs and my colleagues if we have to store or pick up items upon arrival or on departure even without us asking for it. The bell service staff too are always handy to offer help with transportation and luggage handling, with a smile and engaging us in conversation making us feel part of the family indeed. Despite some imperfections in the hotel’s hard products, in my opinion, the staff truly make up for everything else.

It was super relaxing especially after a long day. Although I had a small mishap and miscommunication with my luggage as I informed the front desk officer when I checked in to have my luggage moved to my room from the concierge when my room is ready, only to find out that it was not moved when I got to my room late at night after attending a wedding. It was understandable though.

We stayed in room 963. Disappointed- You don't have a bidet. The low-pressure shower irritated me, you need to remove the shower spray otherwise you will not be wet. We also complained on the last day of our stay because of very noisy people in the other room (964) They celebrate a birthday party, I was astounded because you allowed that. Supposed to be it is a private room to be used by your tenant to take a rest. I made a complaint it took me 3 x before we were transferred to another room. Take note they transferred us based on my request. Satisfied- by the food and your gym.

i enjoyed my stay at your hotel..with fluffy pillows and a very inviting bed, who would want to go out...breakfast was superb...i enjoyed staying at the bar to have a more personal contact with the servers who were very accommodating with our requests..i guess i just need to recommend more vacuuming time with the carpets since i have allergic rhinitis and asthma. nonetheless, it was quite a very nice experience

« Nice hotel but a few let downs »

Room and facilities were nice. Checkout took too long and the accorplus area was not staffed. I also let the hotel know 3 months before arrival by email that it was my wife's birthday upon check in but nothing was acknowledged. The person I emailed said it was noted on our booking. We go away every year and this is the first time the hotel has not done something nice for her.
