Stay is ok though the AC is not working

The hotel is located at a very good location. In general, the stay is ok. The weird part is that the AC is not working in my room. One hotel staff told me that the AC has been shut down due to some guests said it was too cold in the hotel and another one told me it is due to the AC needs to be checked before the winter. I do not really know which one is telling the truth. Fortunately the weather is fine in Beijing and it is without AC.

Room as per expectation for Novotel Brand nowadays. Services are very poor : restaurant , breaksfast is not up to Novotel Brand but provincial chinese hotel. Disappointing. No excutive club.

Everyone was great and helpful. John at the desk went out of his way for me. Set up a tour and driver for me. Thank you John. The only complaint is when I arrived is the lady that spoke English was rude and would not get anyone to help with my bags even when she saw I have a cane and other problems.

A very basic hotel and clearly over priced for the service and comfort. Room is not too bad but very dark and worn out, bathroom is fine. Bed is a disaster, size is good but comfort is non-existing. Even location is good right at the metro exit, the hotel is very hard to find as there is only a small Novotel sign above the door but nothing on the building that would show further away. Nice but very small pool. Very small gym with part of equipment broken. Breakfast is ok, not quite Novotel standard but fine for a busy morning. Do not pay for the executive lounge - it is a joke! A very bad and nasty joke giving you absolutely nothing in return except for a simple drink in a sad atmosphere. Airconditioning set on coldest possible, temperature an uncomfortable 22-23

The premier lounge is located just next to the regular dining area on the first floor. This is not worth the extra price. Also, there are no outlets with USB plugs. Finally, the hotel does nothing to welcome vegan guests.

I still wait for my electronic invoice to book a meeting room cost me about 10 emails, very bad organisation skills of the staff I will not come again. I did not feel welcome as a platinum member. This is the first time a write feedback, because it was so bad.

Great location for visitors by flight

Like the location a lot, convenient to either airport and CDB. Hardware is okay given it is after all not so young a property. Service at reception was attentive, but the same at the dining venues wasn't that great. The staffs were either talking among themselves or were just busy with their own stuff. Was hard to get their attention and service.

The room was clean and that's the most important. Breakfast is very good. Overall I had a good experience. However, the TV in my room was not connected. It was disappointing when I got in late and just tried to veg out a bit. Also the bathroom in the lobby was very stuffy.

Quality level of receptionists at the hotel are getting worth year by year. I am just a silver member of ACCOR, but I still know some other ACCOR hotels. Their hospitality is obviously worst in the ACCOR hotels I ever stayed. The location of Novotel Beijing Sanyuan is very convenient for me and our industry, but many of my friends and competitors who stayed all talked about the unfriendly receptionists. They never say greetings like Good morning / evening. At check-in, she just took a passport from me and said FINISHED just like having a though "WHY ARE YOU STILL STANDINF THERE, IDIOTS?". She didn't provide me any voucher for drink which usually given to a silver member. I didn't want to talk to her and I didn't claim it.

Great location but not international service...

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and unfortunately like the first the service on Reception and in general is not that good. The executive lounge does not really exist and is just an extension of the hotel breakfast room...... the internet in general is almost non-existent in the rooms and the executive lounge.... There is no bell boy to arrange your bags etc or even order a taxi... you have to stand in the reception queue to book a cab... once you are being served the receptionists are hopeless and refuse to even look you in the eye let alone smile... I am sorry to say but I won't be coming back. I was very disappointed.

I checked in online and had asked for a higher rather than a lower floor if possible. I was given a room on the 8th floor in a 20-story bldg and was disappointed. I was given a welcome drink ticket and because the hotel brochure said the bar was open until 1 am I went down at about 10:15 pm to get a drink but was told the bar had closed at 10 pm. The bathroom could be cleaner (found hair on floor, etc.)

Unprofessional staff and a bad hotel for business travelers

Staff at reception is very unfriendly and what is more important unorofessional. Check in was a nightmare; check out was not much better. WiFi connection is very poor and requires to receive a code in your phone (which sometimes does never arrive...) I was not given even my welcome drink as platinum member. Room was Ok, spacious enough for three nights.
