Close to Gare du Nord and Gare L'est in a sidestreet off the main Avenue Magenta. Good standard room with air conditioning that worked well. Outside temperature were around 39 Degrees! Reception staff friendly and helpful.

This was my second time visiting Paris, staying for three nights. I really enjoyed staying at this accommodation. Despite the location, it was relatively quiet in the evening and I had a good nights of sleep. The bed was comfortable and toilet shower was really good. Breakfast in the cozy basement was satisfying. There was a minor issue with regards to my room key, but was not a big deal - it was sorted it with professional manner. Staffs were friendly and professional with good speaking English. I would love to stay at this again next year I travel to Paris!

Ji Hun J Friends getaway - 05/07/2019 TripAdvisor review

This was my second time travelling to Paris for work/holiday purpose, staying at this accommodation for three nights. This accommodation is located at the walking distance of Gare du Nord and Gare de L'Est. Despite the fact the accommodation is located in the centre of the city because of its location (just around the corner of the big road), it is extremely quiet in the evening and I actually had a good sleep (and comfortable bed). The shower in the toilet was really good. The rooms are small though. Staffs are very helpful and friendly with good English speaking. Breakfast in the cozy location was satisfied. There was little problem with the room access for the first two days, but it was just minor one and sorted it out very professionally. I would love to stay here again next year if I travel to Paris!

Leaking ceiling

Had a room with a leaky ceiling right above the toilet. With the extent of wetness on the ceiling, i do not believe that Mercure is unaware of the inconvenience and discomfort to its guests. I tried to ask for another room the first night but then was told the one other room was not as good, and on the second night - That the other had no AC. Unacceptable especially since Paris was having the heatwave. Also paid for a room for 2 but only had 1 bottle. Room cards do not work and require a second trip down to reception to check and reissue. Not sure about mercure but I did not get an upgrade as part of my member privilege, despite arriving at the hotel in the morning but only getting the room key in the evening.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for train and metro. The room we had is not very large but ok. The airco didnot work from friday until monday, so sleeping was not very pleasant. We informed the reception, but they said that no maintenance personel was available.... The toilet-pot was not good fixed to the floor, cracking sounds we you use it...

The hotel is close to the stations, Nord and L'Est and the Metrostations. The room was not very large, the airco was not working the firts nights of our stay. The room was quiet, and clean. THe bathroom was very good with a rainshower.

Satisfactory stay. Not exactly what I expected.

Our stay was comfortable enough for our short stay. However, I frequently stay at Mercure in the UK and had expectations that the standard and quality would be the same. The description only for our family room was not what we got. We got a double room with a single z-bed/camp style bed in the corner. Our room had been described as large and the most superior room with a garden view. The view was into the yard which had a few weeds and a hose pipe in it. Breakfast was ok although it lacked atmosphere and the hot breakfast available was limited and on the buffet only. We only had the breakfast that was included in our stay on 1 morning choosing to buy breakfast from the local bakery on the other 2 mornings.

Yet this one specifies that we have a sofa bed for a child up to 13. We will make a point with our reception team, about the description of our garden and also about the reception, something you did not appreciate, your feelings did not live up to your expectations. We will make the point so that explanations clearer. Regarding our breakfast, know that we will change the map of the current 2019 for more choices and flavors. However as you may have noticed, our hotel is 45 rooms, a small porter. Our breakfast room is in a setting that the majority of our customers appreciate but quite limited in terms of capacity and unfortunately we can not put everything we want to put in place.
