« Convenient overnight with a train to catch »

A pleasant hotel with very compact rooms (a little bigger than the bed) and bathrooms. Welcoming reception staff and a good breakfast--but it's all just a bit better than an Ibis. Mercure hotels in other countries are much better than this.

Indeed due to the architecture of our establishment, some of our rooms are smaller than others, however, on a future stay, do not hesitate to return to our reception 24h24, we could have changed rooms to the extent of availability. « A safe, comfortable hotel close to the train station »

Overall I enjoyed my time at the hotel. My room was clean, the bed comfortable and the personnel friendly. I was slightly concerned coming back at night that I was locked out of the main lobby. I pushed the bell several times and about five minute later I was let in. Other than that minor issue, I would come back.

I enjoyed my stay at this particular Mercure hotel. Rooms are small (as they usually are in Parisian hotels of this class) but the friendliness and attention of the staff working here is laudable. The location is also good, just a short stroll from either of the Northern train stations.

Great location close enough to both Gare du Nord and l’Est. I was disappointed not to receive points on my Accor account and only discovered this after I paid. As payment was taken I could not cancel and I would have lost quite a bit of money.

« A well kept hotel, shame for the hard mattress »

The staff was lovely. The room was pleasant and clean. The shower was great. The bathroom lacked shelving. Unfortunately this is probably the worst night sleep I have got in a hotel, the noise from the street was unavoidable, even with ear plugs in and the mattress was so hard I felt like I was trying to sleep on a wooden plank. Coupled with pillows that were too soft, I was not properly supported and uncomfortable all night.

Not staying for the first time, appreciating each time all the little details that make your stay more comfortable, from the bottle of water kept fresh in your room's fridge to the quiet bar. My main frustration with Accor is the poor quality of their website / information system. The hotel had the wrong information about my loyalty card and most of the time they also have the wrong information on my nationality, which makes me fill out unnecessary papers at hotels that do not know me. The price system is also very weird, sometimes it shows no price difference with my Business Plus card, or whether you pay in advance or pick a flexible rate. Unfortunately the hotel cannot do much about it.

We first stayed in this hotel in April 2015. This was our 2nd stay in this hotel. We came to the hotel at about 1:00PM. The receptionist let us have a room immediately. This was a great improvement for French Hotels as they would usually say that the check-in time was after 2:00PM. Rooms were recently renovated and clean but small. Breakfast was like before, i.e. up to standard. Baguette was hotel and tasteful. We shall come back again.

Excellent welcome and a very smart standard room. Very much a city hotel partially hidden down a side street so not much in the way of views. However, very handily placed for the two Eurostar and TGV stations and well connected to other parts of the city by metro or bus. Breakfast was good if not exceptional in quite a small but well presented basement arched area.

It was our first time in Paris and it became more special because of the overall experience we had staying in this hotel. The location is amazing plus the Reception team was amazing. Thank you for your help especially I have travelled alone with my daughter. It is close to train station that made it more convenient for us to travel. Though no room service is available, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from within the hotel vicinity. Will surely be back to this hotel when we return to Paris. Thank you. :)
