A decent and quiet place in central Paris

The elevator was out of order for at least 24 hours, while our room was on the 4th floor (the receptionist offered to have the suitcases brought upstairs, though. Overall, service was alright and the breakfast was good. On the whole, we found that the hotel deserved rather three instead of four stars.

Good clean low mid class hotel with only 2 faults. I had 5 nights in a very uncomfortable bed, and the breakfast was not 4 star quality. Some days there there qas not enough bread, and every day we had to find a knive and fork, and the buffet was not clean, fx one Day the cleaning bucket with waste water from the Coffee machine was standing in the buffet. On the other hand there was a lot to be happy about. The room had a very big refrigirator, filled every Day with fresh water, and a bag smart tv. The reception works perfect, so all in all we will definetly considder to visit again.

Extremely poor service level, it’s clearly not a 4star hotel, but more of a 2 star B&B, Ali at front desk is good, rest nothing to write about

Lift did not work for entire 2 days

We got a room on 4th floor and next 2 days lift did not work. My age old mom was with me. The staff was helpful for getting a room on ground floor on our last night stay as requested but it was so inconvenient without lift . People book Mercure because of brand name but it was fairly disappointing. Even breakfast menu has very limited options as compared to other Accor group hotels , even lower budget Accor hotels have better menu options. Only location was great.
