I like location, social areas, the restaurant staff was very nice all of them, and the food is good. I don't like the room since it was deteriorated (carpets, furniture, bed sheets, etc) and the staff from reception can be more helpful.

The hotel was generally clean, with reception staff helpful and good working order of the air conditioner. The bathroom had some of the basic amenities missing, which i would expect a Novotel to have. The breakfast was both very limited and very cold - upon asking for additions which are standard at other Novotel and Accor group hotels were missing here. Ordering eggs (hot) as well as anything additional were at an extra cost. The cutlery was poorly cleaned and no cups available for coffees. Certainly not worth the price paid. The additional facilities (Pool, barber) were quite pleasant to look at, although i did not functionally use them. a part from the very poor breakfast experience, it was generally a pleasant stay.

The staff at the reception were very friendly,and specially a young man with the name of Mehdi was very helpful for assisting us to put through a very important call to Lisbon. In order for some improvements I would suggest the regular servicing of the air conditioners and since in our room the toilet was separate from the shower, a guest would appreciate if two bars of soap are provided for the toilet and the other for the shower.We had to move the bar of soap from one spot to the other.

As a Gold client, I was given an upgrade room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning system was not functional. Despite all my reminders, nothing has been done. In addition, I noticed that he installations are becoming out of date.

Novotel Hivernage is strategically located in the center of Marrakesh within the safe and clean neighborhood. The hotel itself is nice and our room was spacious enough. However the Air Conditioning didn't really work, even when we turned down the temperature into 10 degree C, we can only feel the fan. We booked the room for 3 pax, 4 nights, but we only allowed to get 1 mineral water per day, 2 individually wrapped instant coffee, sugar, and paper cups for each, daily. There was 1 day when we didn't even get our mineral bottle at all. Rather than keep asking everyday to the unfriendly reception, we decided to buy our mineral water ourselves. I mean, why do we have to fight for 1 bottle of mineral water per day....? As for the bathroom floor mat,towel, shampoo and shower gel... the housekeeping kept forgetting to provide us with one of those bathroom amenities everyday. It was troublesome since no one picked up the phone when we call the housekeeping, and again we have to go down to the reception lobby to get those.... I hope that Novotel HIvernage will improve their service soon, it's such a pity a hotel with such a great location is not supported with great service.

Good hotel.. But the breakfast should include more varieties. Also why there should be a Chargeable omelette and few smaller things, when eggs are free. All other Novotel serves the same and they are non-chargeable. Service in breakfast area needs improvement. Overall , I may not repeat this hotel. Waiting lobby small and bar is inappropriately stocked.

My first impression of the hotel was not great, as the person who checked me in was not at all friendly. I was also asked to pay at check in and had issues with the card I was trying to pay with, I ended up paying in cash but had to ask for an invoice as one was not provided. The room was fine and the bar staff very friendly. I would also commend the staff member who helped me when I was departing from the hotel as she was helpful, as was the porter who helped with my luggage.
