Very comfortable hotel in extremely convenient location to Heathrow Terminal 5. Friendly, professional, helpful staff; very comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Very good restaurants - although expensive.

« Homeward bound »

After a 12 day cruise around the UK, we needed a one night stay in Heathrow to facilitate an early morning flight the next day. We arrived early, were able to check into our room, and take advantage of the facilities. Lunch in the Tea Salon was excellent. Dinner with friends, in Vivre was as well. The service throughout hotel was very good. This hotel was a marvellous find.

Easy access to underground car park Fast and friendly reception team Given a free room upgrade which was nice Smart room Great bed Meal in restaurant was very expensive and nouveau cuisine results in fancy presentation but little food Staff were good Check out was quick and the walkway to T5 departures was easy Overall impressive Only let down by the food

The reception staff member was first class and sorted out a minor glitch with my booking with the minimum of fuss. The room was small but adequate and comfortable. The restaurant was lovely and superb food n wine at reasonable prices

I could not check in for around 4 hours due to system errors, when I did check in I twice walked to my room with luggage and on both occasions the keys did not work. There was an enormous queue at reception, with staff very unapologetic

Warm and welcoming reception. Happy to have you at the hotel. Efficient and friendly. Have stayed here many times and never had a problem or issue with the hotel or any of the staff. You know you are in a first class hotel.

Fine room, service, and food. Reasonable price. Very convenient to airport. Assisting with travel passes and luggage very helpful to two eighty year olds. I would recommend this hotel for all travelers.

A very pleasant stay the night before an early morning flight. Rooms are very very nice, the food is excellent, nice bar and the staff is awesome! And very convenient to terminal 5..... just a short walk form the hotel to the terminal. Happy to highly recommend!!

« Reliably comfortable and convenient for airport access »

There was a slight confusion at check in. Although I had booked in advance and had confirmation a problem with the computer system meant that my reservation couldn't be found. This led to a few anxious moments. I was also very jet lagged and ready to get to my room and rest but I had to wait for what felt a long time for my luggage to be delivered to my room and in the end I had to call down to ask where it was.

« Parking fiasco »

The room and service was good, with the exception of our inclusive parking. We had booked and had confirmed 8 days parking albeit the system at the hotel only showed 4 days. This took 3 people to resolve and I had to send a copy of my reservation confirmation to the hotel. The following morning when checking out we were told there was a parking charge. After explaining again the issue, this was resolved and removed. Then a day later, I received an email charging me for the parking. This has not yet been resolved.

« Aircon wasn't working properly. The controls were jammed. »

The Aircon appeared (along with some room power) appear to have gone off in the night. I called reception in the morning and they sent a tech person quickly. And he confirmed that indeed there had been a reset in the night, and they manually reset my room from the control center....BUT I would have NOT expected to have been in this situation in a hot room etc

As above. Also had more room service than on prior stays, surprisingly good food. LOVE the espa toiletries. Comfy soft robe. Appreciate the cold water in the fridge. Thank you for still putting actual paper and envelopes in the binder on the desk - so many hotels don't anymore.

« Very restful, just what I needed before my long flight home. »

Upon arrival on Sunday evening, I was met by 2 very long queues, one for a delayed flight and the second, which I joined, for pre-booked guests. I was quite shocked at first and thought I would have to wait anxiously until it came to my turn. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the speed in which the Reception staff dealt with the number of guests checking in and I was in my room before I knew it! The room was lovely, I ordered room service and had a great restful night's sleep before my flight the following day. I will definitely use the hotel again and highly recommend it to friends and family.

« lovely start to the holiday »

we had an early flight with 2 children so thought we would start the holiday early. Easy to book and stay and a lovely room with helpful staff. The only issue we had was someone added room service to our room. the staff promptly took it off but not without making me feel I was in the wrong!! I would love to know who got the icecream but it certainly wasnt me!
