We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, the room was great, the food and drink in the bar/restaurant were good. The hotel is really convenient for an early start at the hotel. We wish we would have booked our parking with Sofitel instead of elsewhere.

All the serving staff in the bar and restaurant were miserable, fed up and lazy. The first room we had smelt and we had to be moved. The hotel doesn't seem to have the wow factor anymore

« Good Stay, Great Room for an Early Family Flight »

Overall the stay was great, easy to get there easy to park, room was great for 2 adults and 2 children (Family suite). It makes it so much easier than travelling during the night for an early flight. Only minor issue that let experience down (but not in a way that would affect me staying there again) was the length of time it took to get a drink from the bar (they refuse to serve you at the bar and tell you it is table service, then you have to keep going back to get someone to come to you!).

The room was much smaller than I was expecting. I was also expecting breakfast. Stayed in the Grand Brighton the week before and this was more expensive and less pleasurable.

I was with my wife and two young children and as we arrived at around 3.30pm, we were advised to sit at the Terrasse Bar for food and drinks... despite lots of staff being there, no came to serve us and we couldn't attract anyone's attention so after about 15 minutes I went to the bar and asked if someone could serve us... when they did we then waited for ages for our drinks and when I got mine it was the wrong order. After a further long wait (another 15 minutes or so) my wife pointed out that it looked as if my drink was sat on the bar so I got up again and asked if it was mine. I received confirmation that it was and as no one was offering to bring it to me I asked if I could take this myself, which I did. There were other issues I can't be bothered to mention but the bottom line is the service was truly appalling.

My husband has mobility problems. The door keeper went with him to find him a parking place near the entrance to the hotel. The receptionist was efficient and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Not knowing the size of the hotel, I did not book a room on a lower floor . This I will do next time.

Another stay with no stress don’t of the car in the car park check in with an upgraded room then relax with the family until bed time where we all had a great even better our flight was changed from 7am until 14:00 so no 3am wake up......

We were greeting by doorman who took care of luggage, desk clerk, Luis was amazing at explaining the amenities of the hotel, Margo in the club room was very gracious and attentive, the staff in the Brassiere were wonderful, the food was excellent, the room was great and check out was easy,.
