At risk of being snowed in, we stayed at this Sofitel the night before our flight. It is ideally located within the North Terminal and for the train connecting with the South Terminal. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Food and drink choices were as anticipated, perhaps somewhat expensive.

Room was clean & adequate, bar staff were friendly, food was nice. One small criticism was the exclusive walkway wasn't open which was a factor in why we booked this hotel in the first place... shame

The hotel is very pleasing in so many ways and there are no complaints ...... the annoying thing for me on this trip was the fact that the adjoining tunnel to the airport was closed which is a major factor for myself and I found it annoying that we were not advised of this.

Mostly great, lovely reception staff, really helpful doorman, great room, park8ng worked really well, really good tasty food! Would have been perfect if the tunnel to the terminal was open (minor) and the service in vandas had been better, eg the guy showing us to the table seemed a tad stressed and rushed, he lead us quickly to the table and quickly dragged a chair back as a gesture to sit, said little else and hassled off. We noted this approach also happened to some others customers after us. The waiting staff were however good.

Dear Ms H., I would like to express my sincerest apologies as I do recognise that the shortcoming with the wake up call had an impact on your overall satisfaction. Please be rest assured that it was not our intention. I have personally investigated the occurrence in order to furnish you with an educated reply. As the wake up call system is an automated system which failure is often unforeseen, we always encourage our guest to also make secondary arrangement in this regards. I can confirm that as per our records the wake up call was set up at the check in time. Upon further investigation it appears that the unfortunate and unexpected technical fault caused the failure in delivering the request. I would like to also assure you that following your feedback we have contacted our IT operators who have promptly rectified the fault in regards to your room.
