Good Morning Ibis, I would like to go into more detail about our stay at your hotel. We arrived late and although having previously checked in online we got our keycards for the room (of which had to be swpped 3 times during the stay). The staff we were friendly and greeted us with a smile and happy to help. We did request a double and and an extra bed as I have two children that was staying with me. The extra bed was not ready but one of your staff quickly came to set the bed (though a little extra practise on making beds wouldn't go a miss but presumed he wasn't room keeping). He was polite and nothing was too much trouble. Parking was great as we could park in the public car park without extra cost with is a bonus. My grumble comes with the room. Your curtains are worn and half had come off the rail. Something that could have been fixed before we checked in. The toilet in the room keept making a filling up noise and could cleary hear the occupants next door fushing their toilet and/or having a shower. The master bed had stained sheets. The extra bed was terrible. It was damp, it smelt and to be honest I had to dressed and slept in it fully clothed. The dampness I can only presume this is because it folds out from against the wall. The frame didn't loo like it had been cleaned in ages as there were pubic hairs and dust. It was disgusting. This was 10:30 pm as the kids had already fallen asleep, I didn't feel I could wake them up and request a room change. Overall you should be proud of your staff - I found them polite, attentive and friendly, your hotel completely lets Ibis down. It needs a complete re-decoration and steam clean. In comparison to other hotels of the same price mark e.g. Premier Inn, there is no comparison. CLEAN YOUR HOTEL!!!!! I would expect some gesture of good will or credit as I won't be recommending anyone to stay there until I know of some improvement to the rooms. Housekeeping lady let hersrlf into our room at7. 20 and 8.45 whilst we were still in the room. You would think you would check if we had checked out before bursting in twice!!!

overall as expected, prompt check-in, staff were friendly. no welcome drink was offered for Silver, but not unusual, had the same at other hotels the room was pleasant, only issue was a dirty towel in the bathroom, we got some fresh towels from reception

Was ideally located for what we needed and was clean and comfy.

Everything was fine. Check in and out was quick. Room clean and everything was in there that we needed. Except we only had 2 small towels and had to ring reception for more. Very compact. Staff friendly. Was offered early check in which was ideal for what we needed.

The pillow were to hard. I found a door wedge in my bed. The towels were small compared to another hotel similar. Room was a little shabby and work was being carried out when we arrived after a long journey.

The room was dark and dingey and very over priced for what it was. The reception were not aware we had booked late check out. The cleaners knocked on your door from 10am disturbing us - we had been at elstree studio all night - they also weren't aware we had late check out so this destroyed any sleep we were trying to get

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The entrance area looked inviting, clean and modern. Our family room was a little tired but clean and the double bed was more than comfortable. The whole experience was perfect for our needs.

I have stayed in other chain hotels in Borehamwood and this is my new favourite and I will recommend it to friends and on trip adviser. I particularly am impressed by the open plan design of the lobby area and the easygoing yet professional friendliness of the reception staff .
