The breakfast was just adequate. If we stay again wouldn't have breakfast .pillows were very lumpy not comfortable need replacing. Staff very helpful.

« Good value, good staff, tired and worn furnishings. »

I have stayed in this hotel 35 nights this year. At first it took a long time to check in and the computers to find my booking. Now the staff have got to know me it is much quicker. Some rooms have falling curtains ,worn furnishings and broken shelves. Some rooms have smelly loos. Gabriel and Zuzana make me welcome and have sorted out any problems. Thank them.

Very reasonably priced and comfortable room. I’m disappointed that you’ve imposed a parking fee, albeit nominal. Last time I stayed I was given a ticket for my dash board for free. If you’re not going to provide a reasonably sized car park you should cover the cost of parking in the main town car park.

« Great Hotel near Elstree Studio and really good breakfast »

We stayed for two nights while attending 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The Hotel was clean and modern with very good and helpful staff. After queuing for 5 hours to get our tickets validated we went back to the hotel and had a fantastic full English breakfast. The only slight criticism I have is that one of the room cards didn't work, despite going to reception 3 times and the bathroom has a large step into it which caught us out. It is also just a plastic pod that is out of place with the rest of the room.

« Short staffed but clean »

We wanted a room to get changed in effectively for an event nearby. I paid partially with my Accors Club points bringing the cost to £31 - a bargain to include check in at 9am. I was confronted by an over worked person who told me there were no rooms available at 10.30am (there were 3 people managing and cleaning the café and reception). When I told her I had booked for early check in she hurrumphed and said well she'd look, but check in was at 12. When she looked lo and behold there was a room free which she seemed to give grudgingly. She then tried to charge me full price for the room before I got the key - I told her I'd booked with points so it was £31, she said when her manager was free she'd take a look at it. As the reservation was on her 'phone (the only visible means of check-in) it surely should have had this on it.

Rooms, staff, breakfast all very nice. Bar/reception cold - needed coats on to have a drink in the evening. When arrived at 9pm window in room was open so room was cold.

It was our first stay in this hotel. The hotel is lovely, clean, spotless. The room was lovely, cosy and had heating (some hotels are cold) The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. We will 1000% be retiring to the hotel. The food is tasty and there is a really good variety for breakfast.

« Disappointing »

We were visiting Elstree Studios and very short on time on our arrival. 2 adult males both over 6ft in a twin room and we were allocated a disabled room. The hand basin was the size of a small bowl. I suggest you try shaving at the handbasin in one of your disabled rooms. I think it is admirable to cater so well for disabled guest. We are not and will return to Travelodge next year.

Good location, modern clean hotel. 24hr food available, bar, good car parking. But cold "hot food" at breakfast. Bacon, sausages and beans all cold. Only the topped up items where nice and hot. Other than that all good. Excellent staff, would come again possibly only on room only deal.
