« Weird Disinfectant Smell & Bad Customer Service »

Karthik at the front desk is not supposed to be a concierge staff. You need smiling faces there. We flew out of Pune at 5am (woke up at 3am) hoping for an early checkin. Early checkin was not an option, however, the guy had no soft skills. If i was not there for a prebooked event, i would have walked out (along with my Team). There was a weird disinfectant smell in pretty much every room, exec lounge lobby. No one seemed to care about it. The restaurant staff was good and very helpful (bumped the rating from 1 to 3 just because of the Restaurant staff).

I have previously been here but this is the 1st time I visited after the renovation . So far have completed 27 nights stay at this hotel. The new look of the rooms Is very refreshing . The ambiance of the room is peaceful and quite attractive . The good at square was extremely good. Special thanks to Mr Karthik and other front office team for making everything comfortable and easy. A very special thanks to Mr Shanth Murthy Chef . He made my candle light dinner with my wife at la cantina more memorable .

I booked the executive level 6 so as to use all the services there. I was not informed that the breakfast service had been discontinued in the Club Lounge, even though my booking confirmation letter said it was operating. The young man serving in the Club Lounge during Happy Hour had difficulty speaking and understanding English. His service was very slow.

On Saturday morning- the day I was checking out- the blow-dryer burst in my face- while the lights in the room switched off automatically. My guess is- it was a faulty wire- please ensure you do not keep any faulty-electrical items. I fortunately wore my glasses- but there might have been a chance that the incident may have affected my eyes directly. Fortunately the floor was dry- but cannot even begin to imagine what would have happened if there was water. Extremely appaled by the incident- but due to a busy schedule- did not have time to even complain at the frontdesk.
