Good but very small rooms, very small passages in the room, the internal door between my room and the room next to mine was not sound isolater. I could hear everything happening next to me and they could hear too.

« Ibis Sharq did not meet my expectation, when compared to other Ibis around the world »

Overall experience was non satisfying: - I had a double charge from the hotel, apparently a mistake, nevertheless waiting for the refund - Bed was not as comfortable as expected from previous Ibis experiences. Also the trademark pillows were not available - I did my check-in online and requested some amenities in the room, neither of which were available, for example, I requested 2 extra pillows, and there was only one in a bag on top of the closet. This pillow was filthy, it had dust, sweat and hairs from a previous person. Really disgusting - I the requested by phone a dental kit, which never came - TV did not work properly, the color was completely green - The pasta I had for dinner was overcooked and the bolognese sauce was not good. An excess of garlic made it barely eatable - During breakfast, fruit was not fresh: watermelon looked like it had days in the fridge getting old - Coffee machine was not working properly, and required the assistance of an employee to re-set it

You will feel you are at home! From the excellent services at the front desk in the welcoming from Mr. Samih and the Front Desk Manager Mr. Waleed Ibrahim to satisfy my needs and meet my requirements in giving the welcoming drink voucher and providing fruits dish at my room. Providing a free breakfast and I appreciated this type of service and for sure my loyalty to Accor has been enhanced with a high level. The hotel location is very good in the middle and you can reach to everywhere in Kuwait using the First Ring Road (Subah AlAwal Road). Also, the hotel nearby Al-Hamrah Mall with walking distance. The only problem is the Parking at night in the weekends.

Service and staff at the hotel are very good. This goes a long way to make up for the very average rooms. The room is very small and drab and the bathroom is small and basic. The bed was comfortable. Public areas are basic too and the restaurant lacks any atmosphere. The food was quite good and the service was friendly and efficient.

The Ibis Sharq never fails to impress me. The value for money in this very pleasant hotel is exceptional and the staff remain cheerful and very accommodating. Kuwait can be a minefield of potential accommodation pitfalls, so to find a reasonably priced, modern hotel in the prime business area of the city is a godsend. I will continue to stay here on every trip to Kuwait and certainly will recommend it to my many friends and colleagues doing business in Kuwait.
