The reception staff were lovely - very polite and helpful. The room was as described and standard for an Ibis. My room was very quiet with a great view. My issue with the kettle was resolved smoothly and it was effortless to be there.

« Staff was great but the property is below average even for an Ibis »

I was really disappointed with the rooms and actually surprised with the poor quality. The property needs a facelift. The hotel staff is AMAZING and they did whatever they could to accommodate me. It’s not in their hands but the hotel management’s hands to fix the dingy look of the hotel rooms.

The stay here was good. It was downtown, close to all of the sites and not too far from the souq. The check in was quick. The staff was super friendly. I didn't have the correct plug in to charge my electronic devices. They were kind enough to provide me an adapter. They also assisted me with getting transportation to areas I wanted to go and the airport. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff at Ibis sharq gave our company the best customer service ever. They were polite, hospitable, organized, and thourough at all times. With all the people from our company, booking from different websites, Mr. Ramjan and Mr. Gouda along with his team had everything prepared and made sure they utilized all their team members to take care of us right away when we got there. This made the checkin very quick and swift. They were very prompt and flexible with our needs at all times from keeping the group together to meals etc. Parking was very easy. With a group of 22 people, and coming to the city for the marathon had us worried a little bit. But there was plenty of parking space. The rooms were pretty comfortable and inviting. The location was perfect. With the mall being so close, every one was able to get variety of food and entertainment so close by. What made it the best stay was because of the staff. Since we did not have a working Kuwaiti phone number, the manager even was willing to accommodate and contacted us with whatever means possible to be able to communicate with us. They made sure our group was taken care of. We had plenty of requests before we even came to the hotel, and everything was taken care of. Even if something was unavailable, they took their time to research to make sure we were taken care of. Before we left, we had difficulties with finding people after the marathon, but the staff were patient and made sure we did not have to worry about checkouts and we could take care of us. We definitely will be coming back here for our stay.
