I lived at Ibis for a little over two months. The staff were good and always smiled and greeted me. Breakfast buffet wasn’t the best but got me going for the day. The room was small but met my needs.

Guests are not allowed which at first i didn't know but later i understood, however, the way the receptionist was dealing aggressively with the situation is unacceptable especially threatening that he's gonna check the cameras and kept calling the room even after my friend left . Very childish of him , I checkedp-out the next morning.

For your mentioned issue, we investigated and found that once you had a visitor the duty manager informed you that visitors not allowed, but as an exception he allowed for your colleague to upstairs with you to collect the cellphone as you informed him. after 03 minutes as you asked the receptionist contacted you by phone, however you asked him to allow for your colleague to stay with you for 04 hours and asked to contact the duty manager. As per telephone conversation with the duty manager you asked him that it is not for this case only as you would like to invite more friends and he spoke with you in generally. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely,

Desk personnel very friendly and helpful. BUT, the room was not only inadequate but lacking in most amenities. Two people in the room would have made it impossible to walk around at the same time. The bathroom and shower were so small it was almost like the toilet on an airplane. The wi-fi system would not allow my computer to get online. When I asked for help, I was told that they sometimes have troubles with their system--but they could not find a solution. I will not stay there again.

I had booked another hotel in Kuwait City for my four day stay, but had to move after the first night because the first hotel was not at all what the website described (filthy bathroom was the worst). What a difference the IBIS Hotel made! Nothing luxurious, but all a business traveller expects: clean, efficient, and good service in English.
