I originally had a room on the 18th floor, but it was very noisy with the sound or the air condition units upstairs and the sound or running water all the time - I reported this and was instantly changed room. Very good. All staff were very friendly. At breakfast the chef bought over items which I hadn't tried in the past and I was very impressed with him and his team - well done, another great stay.

Check in was nice, room was ok, location was great to walk around. Breakfast was not so good, and I believe the scrambled eggs gave me the stomach problems I felt for 2 days after my stay...

« IBIS never disappoints. »

I needed to hit the ground running (6 back-to-back meetings) when I arrived in Kuwait and didn't have time for a long check-in process. Hossam took my bag and stored it and promised when I got back the room would be ready. I didn't arrive back to the hotel until well into the night and went straight up to my room with my bag. It helps that IBIS is so flexible in accommodating the needs of the guests. My room was typical IBIS - cozy, clean and functional. Thanks IBIS Sharq!

« My favorite hotel for business trips in Kuwait »

I always stay at Ibit Sharq when I go to Kuwait on business trips. Very conveniently located you could walk to many of the business towers in downtown when the weather permits. The reception are always friendly. I had an issue with my room and Mr Hashem took care of it and made sure my new room was perfect. this The chef (Mr Mohammed I think) also took special attention and made me a special dessert at breakfast. The entire staff are always very helpful and welcoming. Thanks to the entire Ibis team and I look forward to my next visit.

The hotel was clean, the food at breakfast good although variety could be extended. Most staff are very pleasent but the room cleaning staff should be trained to check that there is a laundry bag in the room. Staff should be trained to understand that fire escapes are for emergency use and not a storage area.
