The Buda side of the river is much quieter and everyone flocks to Pest but we chose this hotel on the ‘wrong’ side and it was great. Right on the river directly opposite the beautiful Parliament building, the views are stunning and the river traffic always interesting. The room was comfortable, you could open the window -Yay!!!! Staff were friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant was good quality. It is a block or so to the metro and tram stops and a nice little area with a supermarket and some local cafes, bakery and restaurants.

Though not looking directly over the Danube & the Parliament had a good, sunny outlook and the River could be seen quite easily. The room itself was comfortably equipped and quite spacious. The staff were helpful (e.g. granting me a late check-out).
