What I found very good: 1- Very respectable and helpful staff (except a young boy which was waiter for the breakfast buffet, annoying, unfriendly behavior) 2- Breakfast, room size, bathroom, facilities were all very good 3- What I found bad: 1- Daily room cleaning service was not satisfactory, they did not clean the bins, especially the one inside the bath room for consecutive days until I explicitly requested them to do so. 2- The room was not sound-proof, I was staying in hotel for long hours and realized even a normal voice in corridor can be heard clearly within the room. During my stay, the hotel was not crowded. I can think in case of more people staying there, guests experience could be by a large amount affected negatively. 3- Internet quality. I am a computer engineer. I realized the quality is very bad in comparison to every other hotel that I have seen in Istanbul. In fact, due to this low quality of internet, I was forced to purchase a sim cart, although I only needed internet only inside the hotel. 4. The building that is being built in the rear side of hotel, when curtains not covering, I always felt like the whole room is visible by the workers. I don't know if this feeling was true or not. 5. Transportation was awful. Overall, I liked the hotel, but I hope you can wipe out the shortcomings. Access to zeytunburno station was very hard since I needed to walk through already building towers. I hope you make facilities that a shuttle brings people to the metro station and back, every hour, every 1.5 hour or something like that. Thanks for your hospitality Farshid G.

Stay in a messy and melty place.

I would not reccomend this hotel. Facilities are dirty. A lot of melt is inside the bathroom/in the shower. Toilet was in bad condition with a lot of stains with urine. Hotel staff as maid are very offensive, they are ignoring "do not disturb" plates on the door.

Overall experience is consistent with Ibis brand. Good location on seaside, however the surrounding area is a big construction site. Breakfast is good and restaurant has some decent food for the evening (there are no restaurants around). Wifi had some problems so I couldn’t connect and my room wasn’t cleaned every day.

I stayed overnight during a transfer flight in Istanbul. It's an alright experience. They had a friendly welcome, even leaving some sweets and a welcome note on my bed before check in. Convenient and comfortable room. The pillows could be more comfortable though. Also I think there is still room for improvement on the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast area was quite crowded around 8:30 a.m. but good range of Turkish breakfast served here.

26-27 April. When we first entered the room we saw that it was not cleaned, then we went back to reception. They apologized and changed the room. However the new room they gave was not a non-smoking room and smelling. 1-2 May. Although we made a reservation and pre-paid it a month before we were not given the best rooms. The invoices are prepared wrong since they did not asked from me the invoice details and just prepared it in my name rather than my company.

I and my wife stayed only two days at beautiful Ibis hotel on our way to Los Angeles, U.S.A. through Istanbul. As our taxi pulled up to the hotel front porch, I had my hands full with our baggage and my wife on a wheelchair. Having noticed me juggling with the luggage and my wife's wheelchair, the front desk clerk whose name was CAN went out of his call of duty to come to the front and help us with the luggage and the wheelchair. We were very appreciative. He helped us when we needed to order a Domino Pizza delivered right into our room number 116. During our departure,m he called the taxi to take us to the airport and explained to us how much the fare. That is called SERVICE. We were really impressed. We are looking forward to come back to stay at ibis just to say thank you to CAN.
