Very friendly staff, clean and spacious room with new furniture. Rich breakfast. Schuttle van to monumental visits. 20 minutes from Ataturk airport by taxi. Good value for miney.

« Long awaited renovation »

Becoming a nice "new look" Novotel, after the ground floor upheaval, they have started to upgrade the rooms and are doing a decent job of it with a much fresher look but forgot to clean up the plaster in the bathroom. The breakfast is still excellent and the access still a problem, there is lots of competition in the area and after Ataturk airport closes business will become terribly difficult so a place to watch, the weakest may disappear. For that night the rate was much higher than usual although the place was far from crowded hence the lower quality/price ratio.

« Location and breakfast is excellent but rooms need upgradation »

The bathroom door knob was faulty. Room carpet was dirty. Air conditioner was not good and not maintaining the required temperature. Bathroom did not have tooth brush, comb, tooth paste, lotion etc.

« You get what you expect and more! »

Excellent service, good location (close to Ataturk Airport), and very good balance between quality and price. I would recommend the breakfast service, although all facilities are just nice. It is quite functional, recently refurbished, so if you don't mind not being that close to downtown, one good option.

The room was dirty and smelly. There were stains on the bed sheets. There was a constant noise coming from the electrical room next door. WiFi was not working.

The best Novotel I have stayed at. Staff are very friendly and polite especially Emine. I have to say other Novotels in Europe have not been to the same standard. And make sure you have their breakfast: it is five star.

The location of the hotel at the Bosphorus is very nice. The lobby, gym and the swimming pool are wonderful. The wifi disconnects a lot. The hotel shuttle bus to Sultan Ahmet and Taksim is always full as it is small compared to the number of guests in the hotel, so most of the time we used taxi as the hotel is far from the metro station.
