« Expecting more from Novotel »

Generally speaking the hotel is good, the stuff are polite and nice but there are some expectations that I think you should do something about that, first of all the rooms moquette is not clean enough, second there isn’t any conditioner and toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower, and third usually hotels gives a bottle of mineral water daily witch isn’t available in your hotel. « Satisfactory but there can be a lot of improvements »

The quality of service was satisfactory but the cleanliness of the rooms, specially the carpets can be improved. Alao the drapes were dirty and there were hand marks on the windows. Some minor stuff needs to be renewed (like door handles) as well.

We really enjoyed our stay in Novotel Istanbul Zeytinburnu. The staffs were extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were comfortable and amenities were in good condition. The sea view is very beautiful. We saved lot on taxis by taking the free shuttle service provided to Taksim Square and SultanAhmet. Overall, it was a good experience staying in this hotel.

The staff are very friendly but there are flaws with the hotel. The hotel is next to a very busy road so it is essential to keep the windows closed for a good night's sleep. However, the air conditioning is not available (in November) which means that the rooms are far too hot even with the ventilation/heating system activated at the lowest setting. The hot food for the evening buffet is cools down by 20:00 which makes it a poor selection after about 19:45. There were faults in both rooms I stayed in (over two nights) which demonstrated poor levels of maintenance. The wifi is system gives a poor signal in some rooms. On the upside, the rooms are of a good size and the beds are very comfortable.

« I've been disappointed »

With a typing mistake I rented a room for one person, when I arrived with my girlfriend did not get in, I asked to UFUK at the front desk staff that I had a mistake at the reservation and could correct it and was still there I'm willing to book another room, was not possible, and we have to go to another hotel. I am very sorry that I am facing this situation as long as customers at Accor hotels. A week ago, at Mercure Taksim, I had a lot of content, I will never come again.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The bed very comfortable. The room however was very hot and the thermostat wasn't adjustable. Additionally the coffee machine in the room dis not work. The breakfast was wonderful.

« Beautiful hotel, but don't scratch the surface »

While the facility was beautiful and the food fantastic, I've had much much better experiences. I'm not sure I can attach a photo to form, but my room looked fine, until I dropped something under the couch - which had forgotten cigarettes, nail clippings, and all kinds of grossness from not having been cleaned in a considerable amount of time (I took a photo) - the same goes for under the bed. It wasn't until my third day, that I realized I wasn't having random break-outs, but I was covered in bed-bug bites. Thankfully I was also checking out that day. Finally, the amount of hoopla I had to go through to check in was ridiculous - all because someone ELSE from my organization hadn't made my booking to coincide with the training. Which is obnoxious, since I was paying up front. They threatened not to give me the group rate - even though I was clearly registered with the group, had name tags and other material in my name. I'm part of a sector that regularly hosts events and trainings in Istanbul - and I won't be returning to this hotel any time soon.

not in the center but 30' from airport. you can find basic services at good price. good wellness club with sauna and gym. good room (pity for moquette on the floor not too much clean) good breakfast also if really expensive camprized with room cost
